Isn't is just amazing there is fraud involved in Medicare. This seems to be a system designed with loopholes. One thing which I ran into with my parents was when Medicare would send paperwork which looked like a bill. Yet, in very small print would read, "this is not a bill". My parents after living a lifetime of paying all their bills were paying these "Not a Bill" bills. Nobody at Medicare ever returned any of the money paid in on their own accord. I had to whine and complain about this issue and to this day I have never seen a complete record of payments my parents made to Medicare. This was of course confidential information. Exclusive only to those at Medicare. I wonder were the money went.
Yet, no matter. The real question is, can this abuse ever be stopped? The entire way Medicare is set up and presented to citizens is massivly confusing. To the elderly it is a source of utter confusion. As most of the elderly believe the Government and their programs are to be trusted entirely.
