This is shocking!
For the last 2 years I seem to be blowing out light bulbs very often. I turn on the light switch and bulbs seem to blow all the time. I walk under lamp posts and sometimes they turn off. The lamp post out side my house has also blown. 2 days ago I came back to my house and accidentally electrocuted my cat with my hand. I kid you not, a spark shot from my hand and hit my cat right on her nose. I've never seen her run so fast. I'm sure other people must have experienced this phenomenon. Does anyone else have similar experiences related to this?

I don't do lightbulbs and street lights, but I've never been able to wear a watch. Within two weeks, they go kaput.

Some people hold more of a static charge than others.

A way to reduce the static in your home is to spray your rug with a 6:1 solution od "static free" faberic sofener.

That is a very convincing theory. Problem solved.

Yes Op, replace you incandescent bulbs with florescent ones. This will help. Then ground yourself before touching anyone. Well, except the cat.
Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

Thanks for the tip. I guess I should probably invest in some candles too.

"Electric People
People who exhibit the ability to produce electric voltage from their bodies are recorded through history. Others are found that can disrupt electrical appliances, devices, and even street lights. Some carry such high voltage talents, they often cannot be touched or must avoid all metal surfaces. Most often this unusual talent is involuntary, but many are able to control it and some have even made a career using this power to enthrall audiences. No known cause for the anomaly is evident and is often attributed to the spiritual world. "

Streetlights turn off when I drive under them. It's always the same ones that turn off. I have no idea why they do that.

My knees sometimes set off the metal detectors in the airports. I am then sent to secondary screening and they isolate the "Metal" to my knee area. I tell them that I have not had knee replacement surgery and they call a supervisor over to talk to me about the metal in my body. I tell them that I do not have metal in my body and they give me a funny look and allow me to go on to the plane.

"This has only started to happen recently, and sometimes it just gets so annoying and distracting.

Near the end of my Freshman year at school (I'm going into my Sophomore year now), in every classroom I was in, the light above me would always flicker. There'd be no pattern to it either, at least from what I could tell, because it flickered randomly.

It would be in every single classroom I was in. It didn't matter where I sat, if there was a light above me it would flicker.

I would ask friends who had the same classroom for a different period if any of the lights would flicker, and they would say no.

I recall it flickering the most during Algebra class, and that was the class I zoned out most. At home, whenever I had a headache or zoned out, the light next to me would flicker like crazy.

One day during finals, I was in the cafeteria listening to my ipod (I was sitting alone at a table). A janitor came by and told me to move and he pointed above me and said something about the light. I looked up, and the huge light above me was seconds away from burning out. T was flickering in this maddened way that freaked me out.

After lights have burned out in my room I'd change the bulb and they would still flicker. Sometimes it just gets so annoying because all I can see in my room is the flickering of the light at this random pattern.

I've tried controlling it before, but I don't know how and focusing on it makes it stop.

It's only started happening recently too."

Actually one of the scariest moments in my life was recently when a lightning cloud chased me home. I live by the beach and I was about 1/2 a mile away from my home at the time. Thunder clouds appeared from know where and chased me back to my house. I ran back faster than I have ever ran before. I know they weren't purposely chasing me but it sure felt like it.
