If a teacher had give a book like you described to any school age kid where I live, he won't have to fire her. She would have to find another state or country to live in.

We try to keep up on what is going on in the schools, I got nieces and nephews still in school. People don't like that kind of stuff being taught in school and the parents keep on
what going on. Most of the teachers are the same way, they don't like it.

Sounds like some people are a bunch of child molesters and hiding in the government, tar and feather time.

I'm a GUY, and a Christian, and I'm good with that.

If you're in the US, and your Kid's in your local Gov't School, YOUR Child has access to EVERYTHING on that list (and MUCH more).

My kids are grown, but I wouldn't send my kid to a public school for anything. I think the answer is to send your kids to a private or religious school where parents have a lot of input in what they learn and do, even if it takes every cent you have to pay for it. Or else, get yourself qualified to home school. Schools shouldn't be giving kids filth to read so they can 'understand' gay people. Public schools shouldn't teach anything about this kind of thing. If they don't want gay kids to be picked on then they should have a zero tolerance policy about bullying. If a kid bullies anybody for any reason they should be kicked out.
I don't think anybody should be persecuted. I believe most gays are born that way. I've actually known kids who you could tell were going to be gay. If little Johnny down the street is 'funny' that doesn't mean he should be picked on, but having kids read graphic descriptions of gay sex so they can 'understand' him is a whole different thing. That is teaching perversion to children. I'm getting really sick of this gay activist crap and some of the sick stuff they do.
I learned that you can't force kids to like someone. All you can do is teach them to be civil and polite to all people and stay away from the ones they don't like. It's a crazy idea to try to force kids to understand someone who is basically abnormal. Some girls told my son when he was about 13 that he was gay because he was "homophobic" and that means you are really gay underneath. Well, I think it's normal for boys that age to dislike gays because they are establishing their own sexual identity and it's normal to be turned off by gay sex when you are a heterosexual. That doesn't mean I would want my son beating up gays or picking on them but I wouldn't want him trying to 'understand' them by reading about gay sex either. It's a crazy world we live in now.
