The spirit of the school program is probably to reduce hate for gays, which is a good thing for children to learn - most posters in this thread were taught to hate gays by their family or peers.
Sex education is really not a bad idea - it's something that should begin at home; but all children will be exposed to sex at one time or another in this world, in or out of school.
And those of you equating homosexuality with pedophiles have proven your ignorance.
