The blurry ones, I took with my iPhone right after they got us out of the car. The focused ones, my fiancé took with his iPhone while my son and I were in the ambulance. Also here's the coordinates of the crash: 26.226480,-80.152756 And I didn't post any of this because I actually think anyone will care, but it was very real, and very freaky to me, so I'm just sharing. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 743646As much as the mega doom is implanted in our minds, it will be lots of little doom like this. Good to hear you survived. Thank you so much. My son is my life, and I'm so happy that he's ok. Mini-Doom has a Silver Lining: Even though we will be very inconvenienced by not having a car until the insurance companies sort everything out, I am actually glad that we were in that accident and survived. It was actually life-affirming, somehow. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 853918I'm not really sure. I don't even know how many peope were in the other car. I beleive they took some of them away on a stretcher, and I hope they are ok. I spoke to a claims adjuster a little while ago, and she hasn't been able to contact the other party yet. They might still be in the hospital. |

Thanks. It's been messed up since it happened. My son seems to be totally fine, but I'm afraid I got more injuries than first expected. I'm getting a lawyer and all that jazz. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 597736 United States 01/04/2010 08:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was in a head on collision once, so I know exactly what you mean. Just before impact time seems to slow down and it remains so until all is finished. You remember things real good, but you don't. You get real calm eventhough you are scared. You seem to be able to calculate everything at once and do everything at once at the moment of most danger. Things are sharper than any other time. It is like you are more alive, more aware, than all other times. One of your first memorable thoughts is the safety of your kids (if you have kids) whether or not they are with you during the danger. The shaking doesn't even begin until after you know it is ALL over. |
