Entertainment Tonight mentioned the fact that Tila thought the family was going to kill them. The family informed her they weren't and then Tila calmed down and helped them take away Casey's clothes. They showed this on tape.

And for the friends coming to get things that is not unusual. Could be they had things there or wanted momentos of Casey before everything was gone.
