Returner is right, the lavatories on the A330/340 is lightweight module kind of stuff.
Light weight, but a closed box.
He wouldn't blow a hole in the fuselage in there, window seat mid cabin, well that's another story.
Utter tripe. The walls of the lav will partially constrain an explosion - more force directed against the fuselage; in the open cabin area force is dissipated easier.
