BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 856126 United States 01/09/2010 11:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The 6.5 Eureka quake is only a trigger. I just had a really weird out of body experience showing this to me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 815211Scared the hell out of me. Basically, 9.1 occurs Eureka to Vancouver Island, last for several minutes, Seattle/Vancouver/Portland very badly damaged. Quake also triggers Rainier with large eruption and Helens has a minor eruption. This happens in the next 5-10 days. In the next 3 months Shasta has a very large eruption removing the top 4k feet and Lassen has a medium/mild eruption. New Madrid will pop first. Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 815211 United States 01/09/2010 11:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was basically hovering over the area watching buildings fall. Then a series of TV news clips and newspaper articles were shown to me. It seems to really screw the economy in the PNW. The one date I kept seeing was January 12th, but I think the volcanic eruptions were on Jan 15th. Shasta/Lassen were like May/March 12th/15th. This was blurry, but also started a ton of wildfires in Cali. |

czygyny User ID: 418932 United States 01/09/2010 11:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well, I can believe some of it, but Shasta has been as quiet as a mouse, nary a blip on the seismographs. To be fair, though, if it goes kablooey right now, we will see widespread destruction from the top of California to San Francisco...the ensuing mud and debris could conceivably top over Shasta Dam and inundate the Great Valley to the Delta. Truly doom on a catastrophic level. Lassen is another thing, however. It is overdue for an eruption, but it is far enough away from cities and major waterways to not pose much of a threat other than ash fallout. It also does not pose the threat of a major blast like Rainier, and Mt. St. Helens has already blown her top. Kletos, Eklektos & Pistos |

The last time there was a strong set of EQ's in in the OR/N. CA (Eureka) was Mar/Apr. 2008. And what happened in mid-April 2008? 5+ on the Wabash Fault. So, for us folks here in the Midwest... I hope you're not right. |

I hope you're not right. I know. I wish I weren't right, but the entire US is under strain and bowing up. I live close enough to the New Madrid fault, and not looking forward to the adjustment. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 525697What caused this OBE? Meditation, sleep...or were you wide awake? Never had premonitions other than minor deja vu. I was watching the Dallas/Philly game and dozed off on the couch. I was then jolted awake, but not in my body. Scared the living shit out of me. I would say back in 2000 under hypnosis I saw an aerial view of the PNW destroyed. I had a satellite view of the area North Cal to BC. I would just look at the image and immediately knew what had happened. Basically quakes/volcanos and then fires in Cali as a result. But this was calm and not frightening. Was also in black and white and just an image. This was in full motion and color. |

Quoting: Smilin' Irish EyesMy dear, you will be far south of the immediate effect of these mountains erupting, although I would place my bet on doom happening in LA before anything up north. Folks forget that California is one big, long state, larger than many countries. We have more climate zones than all the rest of the country put together. We are not all city and beach, but run the gamut from subtropical, to cool, wet rainforest, alpine snow-covered volcanoes, wide grassy valleys, to high mountain desert. Kletos, Eklektos & Pistos |
