Vet said it's not normal for a cat to throw up (bar the occassional fur ball). Vet gave him a shot of anti-nausia medication. I'm also now feeding him a more expensive brand of food. He's better now. The only food he eats now is mushed (tuna) but i'd like him to get on the dried again, since there is another much greedier younger cat: food wars! we have the same situation with our cats except there is 3 of em lol. only one though needs to eat canned food, it is because of her age. going on 12 human years now the dried food is either to hard on her throught or stumach and she barfs it up so then shes even more hungy and the cycle continues till we get her canned stuff. soaking the dried food does help but only some times. |

This way he has to eat around it and it slows him down. good luck ps. what do you use to clean up the puke. Mine has been puking a couple of times lately after giving treats... any idea why that is? That might be a part of the problem. Try feeding the cats in two different rooms, possibly this kitty in the bathroom with the door closed. |
