The Seven Visions

Vision One:
He saw in a vision that the dictator of Italy, Benito Mussolini, would invade Ethiopia and according to the voice speaking to him, Ethiopia “would fall at his (Mussolini’s) steps”. However, the voice continued and prophesied a dread end of the dictator, for he would have a horrible death and his own people would literally spit on him.

Vision Two:
The next vision indicated America would be drawn into a world war against Germany which would be headed up by the Austrian, Adolph Hitler. The voice predicted that this terrible war would overthrow Hitler and he would come to a mysterious “end”. In this vision he was shown the Siegfried line whereat a great toll of American lives would be exacted, but Hitler would be defeated.

It might be well to mention here that a subsequent vision relative to this war predicted that President Roosevelt would declare war against Germany and in so doing would eventually be elected for a fourth term.

——————————————————————————–
PLEASE NOTE: For many years, the American government denied “the losses” suffered by the American forces at the Seigfried Line. It wasn’t until sometime in the early 1960’s that German films surfaced, forcing the Americans to admitt what really happened at that line. Off course, it’s not the first time that governments attempted to cover up mistakes, failure and losses during a war. (Editor: The William Branham Home Page)

——————————————————————————–

Vision Three:
The third part of the vision showed that though there were three ISMS, Fascism, Nazism, Communism in the world: that the first two would come to nothing but that Communism would flourish. The voice admonished him to keep his eyes on “Russia” concerning future involvements, for Fascism and Nazism would end up in Communism.

——————————————————————————–
PLEASE NOTE: In 1933, The Voice admonished him to “Watch RUSSIA”. It didn’t say, ‘Watch the Soviet Union’, but rather “Russia”. Since 1989, the Soviet Union is no more. (Editor: The William Branham Home Page).

——————————————————————————–

Vision Four:
The fourth vision that appeared to him was one in which there was predicted to be tremendous technological advances right after the war. This was symbolized by an egg shaped car with a plastic bubble roof, going down beautiful highways completely under perfect remote control. There was no steering wheel in the car and the occupants of the car appeared to be playing a game like checkers.

PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle is already in existence, and has been for many years, waiting only the systems of highways that can accomadate such a mode of transportation. I have in my files pictures and scientific data concerning this vehicle. (Editor: The William Branham Home Page).

Vision Five:
The fifth scene that appeared involved the womanhood of the world. In this scene there appeared the fast moral decay of women. Starting back when she received her so-called liberty to enter into worldly affairs by means of the vote, she soon began to wear clothes that were too revealing. she bobbed her hair and adopted the clothing of men. Finally the vision showed her all but stripped naked and she merely covered herself with a tiny apron about the size and shape of a fig leaf. With her womanhood so little valued a terrible decay of all flesh came upon the earth and with it perversion even as set forth by the Word of God.

Vision Six:
Then there arose in the United States a most beautiful woman clothed in splendor, and great power was given to her. She was lovely of feature but there was a hardness about her that defied description. Beautiful as she was, she was yet cruel, wicked and cunning. She dominated the land with her authority, she had complete power over the people. The vision indicated that either such a woman would literally arise or that this woman of the vision was merely a type of an organization which is scripturally characterized by a female. Though the voice did not speak out and reveal who she was, he felt in his heart that this woman represented the rising Roman Catholic Church, and he inserted in parenthesis beside at the end of this vision which he had written out, (perhaps the Catholic church).

Vision Seven:

The voice bade him look once more. As he turned and beheld, a great explosion rent the entire land, and left the land of America a smoldering, chaotic ruin. As far as the eye could see there was naught but craters, smoking piles of debris, and no humanity in sight.
The vision then faded away.

Some fine scholars of scripture would warn him that his visions were not inspired of God. He was worried many times about this, and earnestly sought God to let this peculiar ministry pass from him. Yet the visions kept breaking before his eyes and ever coming to pass. No one was harmed by them, but on the contrary the children of God prospered because of them. At this point he had not realized that even Jesus was accused of being of the devil. Neither had he seen that his ministry being identified by astrologers was no different from the time that devils identified Jesus and also the ministry of Paul (Matthew 8:28-29; Acts 16:16-17).

It is written in Ezekiel 12:22-23, 27-28:
12:22 Son of man, what [is] that proverb [that] ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?
12:23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
12:27 Son of man, behold, [they of] the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth [is] for many days [to come], and he prophesieth of the times [that are] far off.
12:28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

It is written in Habakkuk 2:2-3:
2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
2:3 For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

"Just as God revealed to Daniel those things that would take place from then until the end of time, so it was in June of 1933, when Brother Branham was conducting services in the old Masonic Hall on Meggs Avenue in Jeffersonville, that Seven Major events were revealed to him which were to come to pass before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. On this June morning, just before he was to preach, this series of Visions appeared to him.

Or it could be Sara Palin?

In the sixth vision, a woman rose to great power in America. William Branham was not sure whether the "Woman" in this vision was a physical woman, or a religious power such as the Catholic Church. This article addresses both the rise of women, and the rise of the Catholic Church in America.

And I said, "Remember, in that day, before the end time comes, before the end time comes, that a woman... Now, you all keep this wrote down. There'll be a great powerful woman raise up, either be President, or dictator, or some great powerful woman in this United States. And she'll sink under the influence of women. Now, you remember; that's THUS SAITH THE LORD.

See the sermon Why Are We Not A Denomination for the full text of this prophecy.

Then in the sixth vision there arose up in America a most beautiful, but cruel woman. She held the people in her complete power. I believed that this was the rise of the Roman Catholic Church, though I knew it could possibly be a vision of some woman rising in great power in America due to a popular vote by women.

This is from Wiki- the second paragraph is a direct quote of Branham.

Branham said he had received seven major prophecies in 1933 regarding events unfolding in the world.[73] He predicted "that 1977 ought to terminate the world systems and usher in the millennium."
“ Based on these seven visions, along with the rapid changes which have swept the world in the last fifty years, I PREDICT (I do not prophesy) that these visions will have all come to pass by 1977. And though many may feel that this is an irresponsible statement in view of the fact that Jesus said that 'no man knoweth the day nor the hour.' I still maintain this prediction after thirty years because, Jesus did NOT say no man could know the year, month or week in which His coming was to be completed. So I repeat, I sincerely believe and maintain as a private student of the Word, along with Divine inspiration that 1977 ought to terminate the world systems and usher in the millennium.[74]

Vision 4 = withheld technology
Vision 5 = pretty damn right on start to finish,
Vision 6 = Palin could certainly fit, as could the Catholic church. Either way, we should know in a few years.

Vision 7 = apparently we will not be around to verify this one. Dang.

This thing almost reads like a script. Now I am not much of a researcher, but I did trace this guys influences back to a guy named John Alexander Dowie, born and educated in Edinburgh, Scotland, a congregationalist evangelical faith healer, who found the town of Zion, Illinois. I noticed several mentions of Masonic Halls as I followed my tangents.

I am just wondering, do you suppose this guy was exposed to or handed the Illuminati script for how the twentieth century was going to run. He, Branham made these prophecies when he 24 years old, just two years after his conversion experience. According to the bio, he had minimal exposure to Christianity while growing up, had his conversion experience at the age of 22(1931)and by the time of the prophecy had become an ordained Missionary Baptist preacher, split from his first congregation, founded his own and built a church building. I mean, it looks like he got to see the friggin playbook.

I love the guy, because he is not like a TV preachers. He didn't take up tithes or offerings, he didn't focus on HIS ministry.

Read the guys life story, it is amazing. the book is free.

Also he was never wrong when he said "Thus saith the Lord"...

In fact he made all the famous preachers in his day quake in their boots. He even commanded them off the platform.

He spoke the secrets of peoples hearts, several times in public.

Some worship him, and he begged them not to.

I have spoken with two old men who knew him, they saw a hand come down out of heaven and write on a chalk board while he was conducting a meeting. They said being in his presence was like being with Jesus.

For all I know he was a great guy. The testimonials of his wonderfulness all seem to come from like minded folks who were also pentecostal evangelical healers. According to these, he could read the hearts of men.

There is also a famous picture of him with a halo over his head. Said picture was examined by FBI and deemed to be genuine. And there were eyewitnesses who testified that they saw it. Again - like minded preachers, associates, etc. And we all know the FBI has never had any secret agendas, right?

I would like to see more about his education. Also, it would be interesting what influences he came under while working as a ranch hand in Arizona, and winning 15 fights as a boxer. I would like to see whose influences he came under.

I spent a fair amount of time in pentecostal churches back in the "jesus freak" days of the early-mid seventies, so I am not a hater from the outside. I know how these churches function. My feeling was that it was a very manipulative environment that used peer pressure and "bombing" techniques, and running their worship in such a way as to induce a feverish atmosphere, by which they could induce people to burst out in tongues, or perform other mandatory acts of proof of salvation. I cannot count the number of people who secretly confessed to me over the years, that they had faked their tongue-speaking(after learning it from listening to others)just to get the pressure off. You know what I mean.

I have answered a few alter calls myself over the years. My first being after hearing Nicky Cruz at Souls Harbor in downtown Minneapolis in about 1969. Souls Harbor was run by the Billy Graham organization. Remember "The Sword and the Switchblade"? That guy. Let me just say that my experiences with the Billy Graham organization, Campus Crusade for Christ, and various pentecostal groups from that time in my life has left me wary(putting it mildly) of that whole spectrum of the Christian schismatica. On the other hand, meeting Jesus was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

The Cross and the Switchblade was written by David Wilkerson and Nicky Cruz...and Wilkerson's son was the one running around starting churches in the inner cities.

I spent considerable time in one in Detroit called the Church in the City.

I feel exactly the same way you do...very happy to have met Jesus through them but wished He kept better company.

That just might be the Meme of this Age.

It's not Godly to put women down. There's no love in his words. Another creepy fundamentalist.

DUDE: Where do you get all that from?

I don't worship him, nor do I follow him, nor do I recommend people preach from his sermons, AND HE WOULDN'T either...

Plus I'm not sure I believe in eternal hell. THE SCRIPTURES say hell is destroyed. PLUS the word eion means from age to age, and undetermined amount of time...Then of course there is the statement by Jesus "you shall nor leave there UNTIL, you pay the last pence...

Concerning 77 IT WAS HIS opinion.

I think you have issues....Possibly because of Branham followers, or your situation with your wife (which I don't condone)....

I doubt, if you sat down with William Branham and talked with him, you would have issues with him...I think he has been greatly misunderstood. And people worship him, and they should not do it...

About his message...I'm not sure I know what it is...I have read about serpent seed, and while I can't say for sure...It sounds more than possible.

Please don't assume to know where I am at, or who I follow. My eyes are open...Just read my posts about religion and Christianity and you'll see what I mean.

i hope one day you open your blinded eyes. i am married to a lady that follows his ministry and its totaly not right..... the church she attends they preach from his sermons.. hardly ever quote the bible it's always quotes he made as if he is god... branham also does not believe in an eternal hell......get your eyes on jesus not branham..branham is dead..he predicted in 1977 would be the end..... remeber he said under devine inspiration and a student of the bible he came to that conclusion... well he missed it and you wont me to believe he is the messenger? LOL

I agree, there have been abuses, in tongues ETC.

GOD / Jesus are against this thing we call Christianity, that is NOW used to create kingdoms, and riches for those on the inner circle...

God will ruin this system in one day, as Jesus spoke to the pharisees and sadducees, so he will do today, with men who have hi-jacked the church (they can not touch the ecklesia, the man child is free, but have taken over the woman)...

Hard to equate some of what branham did as with faking tongues...When people witness eyes forming in empty sockets, appendages appearing instantly, people who are skin and bones, have muscle and tissue restored immediately, from a mere word...

He was a prelude to the bride. AND IF he was a false prophet, WHO did all of these creative miracles? SATAN? He can not create lasting life.
