Earthquake Alert For California, From The San Francisco Area To Los Angeles
Early Warning Earthquake Detection Network Announces An Earthquake Alert For California, From The San Francisco Area To Los Angeles

For Immediate Release

LOS GATOS, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/April 7, 2005 --- Using The Coles Method of Earthquake Detection and Forecasting there have been no less than one set of main signals, (low frequency radio spikes caused crushing rock - quartz), which took place April 4, 2005. The total numbers of signals received were three, one-half to eight second spikes. Main signals are usually one-half to three seconds long. Main radio signals occur between one, four, nine,16 and 25 days before the seismic event takes place.

The designated locations are the San Francisco area to Los Angeles. This forecast is in effect immediately extending through April 20, 2005. Present data indicates the Silicon Valley (Santa Clara County) as a possible epicenter. However, a more specific epicenter may be determined upon further data received from additional main signals. If such data is received, then at that time, the location and percentage of certainty will be adjusted accordingly.

Currently the percentage of probability is 57 percent that an earthquake will occur in a location specified with a magnitude measuring 4.4 to 5.5, if the earthquake occurs at a shallow depth or 5.7 if it occurs at a deeper depth. A larger quake is possible if the gravitational pull from lunar eclipse April 8, 2005 is focused along the fault lines. The most likely dates are: April 6, 7, 8, 19 and 20, 2005 with the last day of this forecast being April 20, 2005 - plus or minus 24 hours. Additional main signals could result in the release of seismic activity before these most probable dates noted above.

Percentage increased from 54 percent April 4, 2005.

Jack Coles will continue to monitor the situation and provide any news and/or updates as they develop. For readers living in "earthquake country," it is extremely important to be prepared in case of an emergency.

Observant persons are being asked to watch for sudden movement in stationary compasses, weak magnets to temporarily loss strength, sonic-boom-like sounds away from aircraft, illumination in Valleys similar to swamp gas effect, rotten egg smell (Hydrogen Sulfide gas), water main breaks, well water inconsistencies and other pipe line breakage, power surges and outages, polarization of dew giving a magnification effect of stars at night and strange animal behavior. They are asked to post them on this board, [link to www.syzygyjob.net] This may help in finding the possible epicenter of the forecasted earthquake.

Readers in earthquake areas are asked to please stay prepared.

"All we want to do is save lives," Coles said.

Wow - these guys are incrdible - There´s just over a 50 percent chance that CA will have a 4.4 - 5.5 earthquake?

Talk about a weak prediction - they have that size earthquakes all the time.

And then to only give it a 57% chance - come on that is even weaker.

I lived in CA for 10 years - You know at any given moment you have more than a 50% chance of having an earthquake. they happen all the time....

Oh well...

Nah, people have been trying to forecast with all kinds of equipment and theories. It´s like saying "It is raining somewhere in the world." A perfectly accurate statement.
