You can't have your cake and eat it too. Not necessarily. They don't grant full custody unless there is something wrong with the other parent, or he decides he doesn't want any custody. It doesn't relieve him of his obligation to fianancially support it. He did make it. |

So by your logic if the parent were to be...say a child molester and the other parent was granted full custody, then the child molesting parent would be off the hook for support. I realize that is an extreme example but there are many reasons why someone would be granted full custody of a child. I don't think that it should absolve the other parent from their responsibility. |
