Made me think of:

Luke 21:26, which reads as follows: "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."

When somebody read the pre-released text of Obama's speech, she was overheard to say "be still, my beating heart".
