Quoting: Holy Bat Shitman! It was an excellent program. Just because you don't have the intellectual knowledge to understand it's meaning doesn't mean it was a bad show, you simple MORAN! |

Quoting: markus 1477948I think a lot of this bullshit comes from people who don't believe in God. People who don't believe in God will believe in anything. LOL at this guy. This might be the most ironic statement ever presented on an internet forum. |

Quoting: Holy Bat Shitman! It was an excellent program. Just because you don't have the intellectual knowledge to understand it's meaning doesn't mean it was a bad show, you simple MORAN! Actually, it WAS a piece of crap, and I should have known better. It doesn't take a special kind of genius to enjoy these shows, but it takes ACTUAL EVIDENCE. 2 hours of rambling bullshite, just to see a hunk of stone that looks less man-made than everything that is naturally occurring in Sedona, and to be told the whole time that this was "proof"? Sorry, this was crappy "science", and every single show that has been on History, Discovery, and the rest of the clones on these types of topics has been the same waste of time, they spend 1 hr and 45 minutes of buildup, and then 7 minutes(When you account for commercials, wrap-up and credits) of crushing disappointment because they either don't discover Nessie, Bigfoot, or the Chupacabra, or they have some vague rock formation that could or could not be man-made, and it is a complete and total letdown. Sure, MAYBE 2012 is actually significant, but the more likely explanation is that the Mayan Long Count calendar only goes so far, before it needs to be 'reset' and starts over. This is a limitation of this otherwise awesome calendar, as all calendars have similar limitations, it doesn't mean that the world is going to end... |

Mikey1969 User ID: 1522521 United States 08/26/2011 10:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It was clearly a real monument the fog and rain and being on a remote island has clearly put its mark on this monument i personally believe their are millions of things out their like this that have yet to be discovered much like the temple in peru which for years and years everyone thought was a mountain until someone actually found steps and a door but they do not have permission to dig or uncover the temple.. much like in persia noone is aloud to did there. Quoting: tquinlan1I find it interesting that some of our history is being kept a closely guarded secret. Why won't some countries allow archaeological excavations? Also, what was the name of the Peruvian temple you're talking about, or where is it located? Because it is in the interest of the people in charge to not let their "history" ever get challenged, they have too much invested in it. Some places, the dominant religion has used the established story to justify their positions of power, in other places, such as Communist countries, they are convinced that it is some kind of 'plot' by Americans or whomever their current enemies are. Other times, it is too embarassing to admit that things established 100 years ago, with very little technical scientific equipment could ever be proved wrong. Look at Giza... Ground Penetrating Radar has shown evidence of a large chamber under/near the front feet of the Sphinx, but to admit that there is more than the 'official' Egyptologists have discovered would embarass them, because they can't handle the possibility of not being 100% right the first time. So whether it's politics, paranoia, or pride, these are all the reasons that history must still struggle on, even though we could settle so much so quick if the asshats would quit fighting us. A great one I would like to see is an excavation near the Terra Cotta soldiers. There is quite possibly a scale model of that ruler's entire territory, even with jewels in the ceiling to represent stars, and oil lamps to illuminate it all, but the Chinese are playng that whole 'Don't let anyone into our sovereign territory, lest they overthrow us' BS... |

Rock Wayne User ID: 4983644 New Zealand 11/08/2011 08:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I irrevocably wasted an hour watching that cr*p. As soon as he got close to the 'Mayan carvings' on the island I was sure that the guy with the beard thought, as I did, that the 'archaeologist' was f&^% up crazy. That formation looked just like the f*^ rocks down the road at my beach here in New Zealand. The bearded guy gives the other fella this look like 'WTF is this broseph!'. I'm sure he kept his mouth shut because he thought otherwise the BS archaeologist would f&^% him up in his sleep. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 5007908 New Zealand 11/09/2011 03:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | search Lion Rock, Piha, NZ. Another fine example of Mayan monuments, the true meaning of which is kept from us by the "powers that be". Because the Spanish saw big canoes when they arrived in South America, I surmise that the Maya also sailed those canoes to "Apocalypse Island" then once they carved the head and jaguar, buoyed by their amazing accomplishments, they sailed to the other side of the pacific and carved lion rock from the land. The evidence is clear friends. Clear as day. Now, maybe I can get History Channel to give me some money to make a documentary about the total bs I just spouted as well!!! Christ almighty (pun intended), there is some total bullshite on telly these days. Bring on the aliens, at least they can save us! |

Instead of risking a rocky beach landing they clould have pulled the boat up to a pier. Instead of sleeping in tents they could have stayed at the island's hotel. |
