Religious beliefs are not horseshit as you call them. They are deeply held personal beliefs. Aren´t people allowed their beliefs? Do you want someone deciding for you what your beliefs should be, religious or not? Do you want someone else deciding medical treatments for you? Frankly, religious beliefs are about the only thing guaranteeing freedom of speech or any freedoms these days. Once they are gone you will have absolutely no rights whatsoever. Even your ´right´ to get on the internet and express your opinions will be gone. Your government will be able to do what they want to you when they want to.
