Verizon FIOS Rippoff?

Just got rid of cable to get FIOS and I thought I was getting most of the same digital and HD channels but now it looks like I need to add a "Extreme" upgrade to get what I had before with cable. Weird game it seems going on between installer and customer service too on exactly what I ordered and what I have. He lost the paperwork. What I thought would same me $30 per month is now only $15 and after a year I'll be paying more.

Anyone with a similar story?
