The Jews were doing fine in Palestine (the initial genocide of pre-1948 Arab Muslims and Christians notwithstanding) until they expanded their nation in the 1967 war. Had Israel, as little as ten years ago, withdrawn to her 1967 U.N. borders, what is happening today would not be happening.
