my conclusion:

the wiki says the area was used in military testing. a small nuke bomb would explain the metal fragments and radiation on their clothing. they must have been so hot/burning from the radiation that they tore their tent open and tried to run into the snow for relief. the bomb blast was so sudden, the one person bit down on their tounge clean off and lost it somewhere. the broken ribs and stuff were from sheer force of the power of the bomb. must be some kind of secret bomb....

Something (extreme fear) caused everyone to flee without ANY hesitation. (Fight or Flight responce)

Signs of Radiation on site.

Site closed to public for three years.

Five of the nine were found frozen approx. one Kilometer away in deep woods.

Four others found near site with injuries; chest impact, crushed scull, missing tongue from one of the female victims.

Skin on all victims affected.

Hair on victims turned fully grey.

signs of flash blindness in victims.

Victims fleed in all directions to escape.

Five escaped into the woods, Four did not get away.

All four wrist watches stopped.
Three watches between 0815 and 0845. One watch at 0531.

Investigation results consealed by Russian goverment until 1990. Disclosure of case files in 1990 are edited (incomplete).

Simple fact is;

My God.. reading that story has given me the 'shivers' esp.. reading about the orange spheres! What the fuck do they want from us?!! I'm really begining to believe I was extremely lucky after seeing one of them up very close, if these horrors are so hostile to us. I've never heard of good interpretation involving orange spheres. The occupants of the orange spheres even abducted the then seceretary general of the UN Javier Perez de Cuellar of Peru, near a bridge in Brooklyn NY at 4am or on 30 nov 89 for a few hours, according to Budd Hopkins investigation, then dumped him back on top of his car on the beach, along with his 2 bodygaurds, a local woman & her son. Whoever they are.., they've no right to torture or hurt anyone on this planet. They can piss off..

Obviously..!! it wasn't a nuke bomb.. the snow would've melted, trees burned.. nuke is a very silly idea. But, as soon as I read about orange spheres.. I thought 'uh oh.' I've seen one of these orange spheres actually 'hovering' right outside my house, as noisy as a harrier jump jet landing. I have to admit I felt rather frightened & curious at the time, dunno if they were 'hostile' or not. But, I'm glad I didn't run out of the back door to greet them now.. after reading all about the 'horror' stories surrounding these spheres. It's horrible to think that any intelligent life out there is that insidious, cruel & nasty. I'd say, the hikers woke up after hearing a loud 'whirring' jet engine type noise, orange spheres above them.. so they ran terrified for their lives, only to be cut down by aliens.

The group had left supplies and even built a shelter nearby before leaving the "corn-chandler's shop".

The distance they fled towards the forest was approximately identical to the distance back to their stash of supplies and previously established shelter.

Interesting to note, there's was not the last expedition to die in a distinctively similiar manner in this same area. There was a later one, which I hope to post about soon. There was also a native tradition relating to this mountain that's important to note.

What follows is rather long, and I suggest reading it at your leisure and considering it. I've done an analysis of that ural mountains camping trip disaster, and putting everything I can together, this is my summation that accounts for almost every aspect of it and ties it together. It may not be the truth, but it's a good picture of a possibility.

The 3 reported injuries occurred as the 9 people in one tent panicked, cut the wall of the tent and fled. That's a 33% casualty rate, in the initial rout. Two guys had head fractures, which tells me they collided heads running for the hole in the canvas. One chick had three badly broken ribs, which tells me she may have gotten trampled in the rush the others made for the hole.

Everyone else theorizes they got the injuries once outside of the tent. I don't think so. At least the two head injuries occured there. The woman with broken ribs might have gotten them during the fall into the ravine.

There were ORANGE FIREBALLS/Orbs/Spheres reported over that exact area by witnesses in towns nearby that night.

I see stages to how such an event would unfold.

1st. Alarm. Either a single person sights/hears something and calls out to all, or everybody simultaneously becomes aware of something.

2nd. Should be observation. But in this case, there was no observation (witness the slashed exit out of the tent) but alarm gave way instantly to panic (slash, tear, run).

My guess is that everyone was awoken by their tent being flooded with intense orange light from above. This alone would not be enough to induce panic, only a "whatdaphuck" concern...someone would have untied the tent flaps, poked a head outside, screamed and THEN it would have been "on".

Instead, the tent flaps were found to be tied FROM THE INSIDE, which means nobody tried to go out the tent flaps but only out the cut in the side of the tent.

This tells me that 2 things were possibly accompanying the light that I beleive awoke them: either microwaves which burnt them so intensely that they panicked and went out the side of the tent, and/or sound of such an intensity that they freaked, cut and ran. Their skin had been described as "orange" in some reports, and as "deeply tanned" by other witnesses...I think this is due to a microwave or actinic ray-action, as it's occurred to ufo witnesses in many cases. Their grey hair I can't explain, unless getting grey hair from fright is possible.

(Here in Colorado, a couple that's friends of mine, wintercamping around 1992 in a structure they'd made, tarped and laden with a foot of snow atop were woken up middle of the night by an intense white-light illumination that came down thru the solid foot of snow, the tarp, and illuminated the interior as bright as day. They had weapons, and rather than running outside came to alert and spent the rest of the night back to back, ready for anything. This shows normal reaction to inexplicable light from above in winter...it doesn't panic to the point of running off in underwear and no shoes as some of these folks did. Their case was chronicled in "Mysterious Valley", by Chris O'Brien, though he got the story 2nd hand , didn't talk with the principals and consequently missed important details. If you have the book, look up "Burnt Gulch".)

Ok, I've read that the group headed towards a forest 1.5 kilometers away downhill from where they'd camped on the open rolling hill. (running downhill is instinctual in a rout, unless the threat is coming from downhill...in this case, I beleive the threat was from above.)

Their tracks were said to indicate that some of them would start to run off at a different angle only to head back to the main group during this flight. (The website where this was posted suggested something was "herding" them, which I don't beleive so). I think these sometimes erratic breakways show group discipline breaking down within the panic, only to reassert itself, causing the people to head back to the group. Perhaps the group leader kept shouting for everyone to follow him. This would make sense...soviet kids certainly had discipline in their lives, and panic can be partially controlled by discipline...panic/return to discipline/focus then panic again..that routine.

All accounts agree that the group made it to the forest's edge and that at some point built a fire under a tree there.

Now, there were 3 people with established injuries, all horrific, all without signs of having been beaten by humans. Two men, with non-fatal but bad skull fractures, and one chick with three badly broken ribs, one of which may have slightly pierced her heart..still, non-fatal.

There's evidence of only 8 set of feetprint running away from the panic/tent. People beleive one member was carried by others. Either the chick had her ribs broken in the tent and was carried by two or three guys, OR one guy was unconscious with his skull fracture and was carried by two guys and the chick, who hadn't had her ribs broken yet.

This group is the group of 4 that ended up dead together in the 12 foot deep ravine, I believe. I think they stuck together, as they'd formed a working-unit connected to the unconscious man or rib-broke chick they were carrying. Gonna call them "the A-Team".

Recap: alarm/panic, rout, flight to wood's edge. At this point, either all stopped together at the big tree where later a fire was started, or the A-Team ran further, carrying their comrade, and fell into the ravine about 300 feet past the tree. (In this scenario, they're hurrying carrying the guy, one member plunges into the ravine, instantly dragging the whole team with injured person into it with them. Weight of men falling on chick breaks her ribs, and perhaps she bites off her tongue accidentally at this point.)

Or, everybody regroups and observes from the treeline. This is what I think happened. The spheres and whatever sound or microwaves went with the spheres, didn't pursue them but stayed in the vicinity of the tent long enough to compel them to run 1.5 kilometers thru 3 feet deep snow, scantily clad. They get to the treeline, they pause, they observe...no hostile action towards them. They keep cover, and after an indeterminate amount of time, the orbs leave...they wait awhile longer, orbs don't come back, still they can't bring themselves to head out into the open, so they build a fire in hopes of getting warm and surviving. By the tree at the forest-edge, they have the forest behind them to retreat into if necessary, and a clear view of the hill where their tent and supplies still lies....they stayed there and observed, from their position at the fire by the tree. There's also evidence of "clothes-swapping" from a possibly dead member and amongst the living, which would have occurred during this time.

Here's where I have another concept nobody's considered.

There's a 2ND Panic, as the orange orbs come back, this time attracted by the fire the group's lit beneath the tree at the forest's edge.

In this scenario, the A-Team dashes off into the forest at this point with the unconscious man/rib-broke chick and end up in the ravine in a matter of probably 2 or 3 minutes or less.

3 of the others dash out into the open (perhaps hoping to get to the rifle they'd abandoned in the tent? (My guess is there was no rational consideration of returning to grab the rifle, only blind flight out of fear, away from what was perceived as danger)

Another interesting thing: there was evidence of burning, but not of fire, on vegetation, ends of needles, etc., near the tree where they had started a fire----not caused by their fire, either, but by some unknown. (Can we conclude a "ray" was fired at them? Perhaps.)

Two stayed at the tree, the guys in their underwear. One may already have been dead at this point, hypothermia.

Now, there was evidence found that somebody had climbed 15 feet into the tree, and broken off branches, which the rescuers thought was to start a fire. This "somebody" is believed to have been one of the two men found dead by the tree.

Branches lay all over the area around the tree, where they'd been thrown down, and searchers found skin and "other tissues"--not specified what these were--which they beleive that whoever climbed up the tree literally tore their hands apart breaking off branches.

My guess? Look at the picture of the tree---the branches don't even begin until at least 15 feet above the ground, and there are other smaller trees (available firewood) that wouldn't have to be climbed for in the immediate area, like feet away. Someone of the guys in underwear climbed the tree to escape "something" that had landed and gotten out and had come over....the treeman literally broke branches off and threw them down on whatever it was, trying to drive them away. This explains all the broken branches littering the ground that were never used for the fire they'd built.

Treeman either came down from the tree and died of hypothermia after the threat had passed, or was rendered unconscious by the threat and fell from tree, dying of hypothermia.

The one's that raced towards the tent....the first one died several hundred yards away from the forest, next one a few hundred more feet away, and the last one one a few more hundred feet away away, something like that--whatever the actual figures were. The chick made it farthest, which could be because she was the first to freak and break cover. These are all said to have died of hypothermia, though a pool of blood is said to have been under the chick, draining from her mouth...so, did she break a blood vessel due to exertion? Or, what?

The people in the ravine are believed to have died from hypothermia. I think they were too scared by the 2nd arrival of the fireballs to attempt to struggle out of the ravine. They laid low, kept quiet, and hypothermia killed them

That's my summation of the incident, tying everything together that I now can. It hinges upon the belief in the possibility of the existence and possible actions of the Orange Spheres that were reported by witnesses to have been in that immediate area that night.
