Ningishzidda

Ningishzidda is a Sumerian god, generally thought to be equivalent to the Egyptian Thoth and the Greek Hermes. Laurence Gardner , in fact, identifies Thoth as being Hermes-Trismegistus. There is the possibility Ningishzidda was also the early MesoAmerican god, Quetzalcoatl. Okay, so the guy gets around. This may be a good thing.

Ningishzidda, also known by the Greek familiar, Herm, may be highly relevant to the modern world. The assumption is that the beginning of the Age of Aquarius (scheduled for 2012 A.D.) may mark the point in time when Ningishzidda (or another member of the Anunnaki) will assume the title and status as the ruling deity of Earth.

The concept being addressed here is that the Sumerian Anunnaki Gods and Goddesses have ruled over the Earth for as long as man has assumed the role of Homo sapiens sapiens, and that it has been only in the last 2600 years or so that man has apparently been left to his own devices. [This idea is described in part in the treatises entitled 600 B.C.E., the Age of Pisces, Ancient Myths, Cronus and Zeus, and in greater detail, A Once and Future Myth and Heir Apparent.] The last 2600 years would then correspond to the age when the Sumerian God of Wisdom, Enki, was ostensibly in charge of the planet Earth, but who, as the god of wisdom and father of mankind, may have elected to leave his children pretty much on their own. For better or for worse. In sickness and in...

The relevant question is: who is likely to assume the head honcho role when Enki’s time as the Big Daddy comes to an end, probably around 2012 A.D. -- although there may be a transitional time from 2012 A.D. to 2040 A.D. (the latter date having some serious astronomical considerations).

It has been suggested in Cronus and Zeus that the next god in charge could be Ningishzidda. If this is a real possibility, then it might be wise to consider his bio, if only to get an idea of what might be in store for the human race in the immediate future if he does in fact take over his father’s business.

Resume

Ningishzidda

(aka Thoth, Djedi, Hermes Trismegistus, Quetzalcoatl, et al)

Previous Employment: Sumerian, Egyptian, Greek (et al) God

Experience and Abilities: Alchemy, Pyramid Building, Wisdom, Communicator

Position sought: Lord of Earth

References:

According to Zecharia Sitchin, Ningishzidda, Herm, is the son of Enki and Ereshkigal (the Sumerian Queen of the Underworld). Despite the Enki and Enlil rivalry, however, Herm was highly regarded by all the factions in the sibling arch rivalry. In his Egyptian role as Thoth, Herm was “the falcon among the gods”, the “god of the cord who measures the Earth”, the Anunnaki who was appointed to be guardian of the secrets of The Great Pyramids of Giza, as well as the god who replaced Horus (son of Isis and Osiris) on the throne of very, very ancient Egypt.

There is also a hymn to Ningishzidda, exalting his pyramid house in Egypt:

“Enduring place, light-hued mountain which in an artful fashion was founded.

Its dark hidden chamber is an awe-inspiring place;

In a Field of Supervision it lies.

Awesome, its ways no one can fathom,

In the Land of the Shield your pedestal is closely knit as a fine-mesh net...

At night you face the heavens, your ancient measurements are surpassing.

Your interior knows the place where Utu [the sun god] rises,

the measure of its width is far reaching.

Your prince is the prince whose pure hand is outstretched,

whose luxuriant and abundant hair flows down on his back --

the lord Ningishzidda.” [1]

Ningishzidda is credited with providing Gudea -- one of Sumer’s most enlightened and best-known rulers (22nd century B.C.E.) -- a set of divine instructions, a “holy stylus”, in which the direction and orientation of a great temple could be established. The temple, itself, was a ziggurat, a seven stage pyramid, and Herm’s plans included a plan for the necessary prerequisite of a firm foundation capable of supporting the structure. [Probably something to the effect of not building a pyramid (or a house) on sand.]

As Quetzalcoatl, Herm was equally free with disseminating knowledge for the betterment of others. In fact, his return is greatly anticipated in MesoAmerica as an end of the Hellish period from the time of Cortez to 2012 A.D.. Herm is, in short, the possible good news that may come with the end of the Age of Pisces. And being the younger son of Enki, one might expect Herm to have all of the wisdom (and then some) of his illustrious father. Herm also likely learned something from watching his elder, half-brother Marduk/Ra in his many trials and tribulations -- and quite possibly elected to take a more thoughtful route.

According to Laurence Gardner , Hermes Trismegistus (Greek: “Hermes the Thrice Great”) is credited with writing the Egyptian Book of the Dead, the Book of Thoth, was linked to Cain, was later personally identified with Ham, and “in alchemical circles he was also associated with the priest-king Melchizedek. In the third century BC, the Ptolemaic chronicler Manetho credited Thoth with 36,525 words of wisdom -- the same number of primitive inches as in the Great Pyramid’s designed perimeter.” [2]

H.T. was called Hermes Trismegistus because of his having three parts of the philosophy of all the world. The content of his highly prized Book of Thoth described how, through the process of the mysteries, certain areas of the brain could be stimulated to extend human consciousness beyond any imagining. [2] This obviously implies a rather exalted position for Herm in the Alchemy (and/or ORME) chain of command. In fact, inasmuch as he was known to the Egyptians as Djedi (as well as Thoth), this fact might imply his direct connection to the djeds depicted on the walls of the Temple of Hathor. [For more detail, see Gardner’s Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark. [3]]

Herm, in the guise of Thoth, was thought to be the sister of the Egyptian goddess, Ma’at, who was the goddess of truth and law (a nice family connection). Also, “the Dragon Court in Egypt provided a firm foundation for priestly pursuits associated with the teachings of Thoth.” [2] Herm was known specifically for pyramid building, and in fact this is also where his Greek name, Hermes, derives. The word herma relates to a “pile of stones”, The Great Pyramids of Giza are sometimes called “the Sanctuary of Thoth”.

Hermes Trismegistus was also known as the god who transcribed the great works onto an Emerald Table. This subsequently revered Emerald Table supposedly contained the most ancient of all alchemical formulae, and thus was considered of great significance to the early mystery schools. “In essence, the Emerald text relates to both the alchemy of base metals and the divine alchemy of human regeneration, along with matters of science, astronomy and numerology.” [2] [emphasis added]

The Crystal Links website has claimed a “literal translation and interpretation of one of the most ancient and secret of the great works of ancient wisdom,” The Emerald Tablets of Thoth. The work is a must read for anyone truly interested in Ningishzidda' reputed spiritual path, regardless of whether or not this version is true to the original document. In fact, the Crystal Links website is worthy of considerable study in and of itself. (Just don't forget to come back here!)

Inasmuch as Robert Boyle and Isaac Newton were heavily involved in the analysis and application of such sacred knowledge, it can be said that the Law of Gravity and Boyle’s Law [concerning the volume and pressure of gases at a constant temperature] were “discoveries that were directly attributed to the ancient archive of the hermetic Table.” [2]

Sir Isaac Newton was an ardent alchemist, having embarked on a translation of the Emerald Tablet and the Corpus Hermeticum of Hermes Trismegistus, and having seen the underlying validity of the Hermes maxim: “As above, so below”. In fact, Newton was so immersed in divine knowledge, numerology, and the hermetic lore of ancient times, that John Maynard Keyes once referred to him as “the last of the Sumerians.” Meanwhile, Boyle “conceded, with amazing foresight, that it was dangerous research [into the alchemy of the Philosopher's Stone] since the Stone, if misused, could ‘disorder the affairs of mankind, favor tyranny, and bring a general confusion, turning the world topsy-turvy.’”[3]

Hermes Trismegistus was often revered as the founder of alchemy and geometry, the keeper of the otherwise lost knowledge of the prediluvian Lamech, and in all cases was associated with wisdom, alchemy and intellectual pursuits. “A Gnostic document, found at Chenoboskion in Egypt and known as the Treatise of Hermes Trismegistus, states: ‘It is thus by degrees that the adepts will enter into the way of immortality, and will attain to a conception of the Ogdoad, which in turn reveals the Ennead.’ The Ogdoad (eightfold) corresponds to the heaven of the stars, outside the individual heavens of the planets, and the Ennead (ninefold) refers to the great outer heaven of the universe. The separate heaven on Earth itself was called the Hebdomad (sevenfold).” [3]

It should now be obvious that as assumption of control by Ningishzidda (aka Thoth, Hermes Trismegistus, and Quetzalcoatl) may imply some really good news. Of course, being extremely wise, Herm might want the humans to do their homework before they began dealing with regeneration and extreme longevity.

However, Inanna, Enki’s granddaughter and Anu’s favorite, might have her own agenda for the future of the Earth -- specifically, in the form of a Return of the Goddess. But as related in A Once and Future Myth -- with Inanna having graduated to the more exalted role of Ime (aka Inanna/Metis/Ereshkigal), a reconsolidation of the Triple Goddess in all her glory -- there is also an unknown son of Zeus, who may relinquish a measure of control and thereby provide for a God/Goddess joint rulership. About the only question is whether or not Ningishzidda is playing the role of the son, or one of the principal players involved in the King/Queen making.

The future continues to be very, very interesting.

Re: Celestial Weather & Influences
The Disseminating Moon occurs on April 2 in the first few degrees in sidereal Scorpio. There are several entries here: The Draco Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy UGC10822; The Circinus Spiral Galaxy; Zuben Hakrabi of Libra, on the southern claw of the Scorpion, which leads to Zubenelgenubi, the southern claw and karmic seat for humanity; Delta Lupus; Alpha Chamaeleon; and Alpha Centauri.

Early sidereal Scorpio teaches us how to graduate from the karmic clutches of naivete, from falling prey as victims to the entrapping forces around us, fighting in struggle to live, and to realize that we experience a wide dynamic of forces that mold our experience; and that it is up to us to claim our mastery in the midst of these forces.

The first few degrees of sidereal Scorpio, approaching the head of the Scorpion, resides in the domain the benevolent Centaur, who teaches the right way to live to attain our self-mastery in the physical world and subsequently to claim our freedom from entrapment in our antiquated patterns and life scenarios.

Here the theme of sacrifice and offerings arise, but sacrifice does not mean self-sacrifice, in the true sense of the word it means to give up a lower office for a higher office. When offering up the lesser (lesser modes of involvement or patterns of behavior), we are also faced with taking on a greater responsibility, moving from victim consciousness, where we feel powerless and merely acquiesce to the conditions of life in which we find ourselves--caught in the clutches of the Scorpion--to taking responsibility for our life scenarios and consciously choosing a life path that supports our experiential growth, our emotional and spiritual maturity, and our physical wellbeing and fulfillment.

The Centaurian training is not merely an intellectual understanding of these principles but is wisdom gained through an experiential journey moment-by-moment that leads us to true inner transmutation at a neurological level. Such wisdom results in the inner realization that makes self-mastery of the primal forces of life actualized and right action crystal clear. Here we learn to assemble the wisdom gained from our life experience as personal intent, and use that intent to mold the raw creative forces of life that define our experience.

The near by Circini Spiral Galaxy at the feet of the Centaur reveals a choice must be made: either to align with the higher path of the soul, fulfilling our greater purpose on Earth, or a path of personality convenience.

Also conjoining from the southern heavens is Alpha Chamaeleon, generally a symbol of adaptability, change and new beginnings, the Chamaeleon articulates the ability to adjust to any situation, but not through subservience or acquiescence, but in mastery of self and with intuitive sensitivity and individuality.

In essence, as we move through the first few degrees of sidereal Scorpio, as we approach the head of the Scorpion (marked by the stars Dschuba and Graffias), we are asked to graduate to a level of realizing that we create our experience and are responsible for the life scenarios in which we find ourselves. Once we choose to step out from the patterns of the past and to do it differently, we become free from the path of soul growth entrapped the Scorpion's claws. This also marks a graduation from feeling helpless, even justifying why we are entrapped as if victims of life, placing blame outside of self, and into the maturation of the soul, of becoming self-responsible--perfect for our demonstrable Moon. Traveling Time to Visit Your Last Day on Earth By DL Zeta

An important step to becoming an architect rather than a slave of physical reality is to undertake a journey to find where your present moment is leading you. An excellent way to gain clarity of your current path is to travel time to visit your last day on earth.

One of the most profound moments of your life takes place in future time, as a future “you” goes about the business of "closing up shop" at the end of your earthly life. It is a misunderstanding to view such journeys to the future as distractions, for the journey toward oneness is not a linear affair. Rather, it takes place inside many timeframes at once – past, present and future. Moments are never compartmentalized and separate; they exist as one continuous flow.

Your Mastery Self and the Journey toward Ascension

In this way, the version of you who exists on your last day on earth is directly related to your present moment. You might say this future you is your creation; it is the seed you are planting now. It is just as accurate to say you are the creation of this future self. The vibration and essence of your mastery self for this lifetime determines the landscape for your field of possibilities throughout your life. As you awaken and begin to travel time to visit your future self, you gain greater access to its wisdom and knowing. The “you” that exists on your last day on earth is your mastery self for this lifetime. It is the culmination of all your earthly experiences this time around. Ascension occurs when your mastery selves from all your lifetimes unite as one.

The feedback your last day on earth can provide is invaluable in that it offers a unique window into how your present choices and creations will unfold over time. If there is something you would like to change or expand, you can choose to alter the course of your present moment.

Your Last Day on Earth is Accessible Now

You have likely at some point visited your last day on earth in your thoughts and feelings. When your thoughts turned to this day, it may have seemed the inevitable province of a distant and inaccessible time. Yet this future version of yourself is accessible to your present consciousness.

In your mind’s eye, see this future self as it comes into the knowing that your earthly life is nearly complete. Imagine the thoughts and emotions you experience inside the knowledge that there is nothing more to be done. In this future time, most of what you consider to be the great moments of your life have come and gone. That is, except for this last, glorious transition into the light.

The Last Moments of Your Present Lifetime

If you have lived your life in alignment with your spiritual purpose, you will most likely choose to spend these last moments in a joyful communion with those you love, celebrating the completion of your earthly mission and anticipating the next step in your spiritual evolution. Rebirth is the certain outcome of death just as death is the certain outcome of rebirth. There are many in your world that do not pass over in a state of celebration and joy. This is often the case where the life was not lived in alignment with spirit. Sadly, we must describe for you what takes place in this circumstance in the hope you will understand the likely outcome of a life lived with a primary focus in physical reality.

The Last Moments of a Purely Physical Existence

At the end of a purely physical life, the conscious mind begins to generate messages of fear around the idea of passing over into a state of pure consciousness. This fear of the unknown causes the mind to grasp backward to what has been. There is a state of confusion as the mind, unable to embrace the approaching adventure into the vast expanse of spirit, reaches back into the safe refuge of the past. This is where an even greater confusion arises, for as the vast expanse of your spirit approaches, the entire mind is filled with a great light that illuminates all the days of the life. Suddenly, the conscious mind perceives what has been the earthly life in the light of the higher self. If the life has not been lived in alignment with spiritual purpose, all the areas of misalignment become obvious.

These last moments may only represent a second on the earth plane, but they are agonizing years to the being that abruptly awakens to missed synchronicities and missed opportunities for love, healing and joy. Also obvious are the many dead-end pursuits undertaken in avoidance and denial of one’s spiritual purpose. It becomes easy to see the ways one has not believed in one's self. The attention will be drawn to those moments when there were opportunities to proceed along the spiritual path, but the ego refused to invest time and resources in the "unseen" possibilities of spiritual evolution.

Stepping Outside a Physical-Based Consciousness

It is in this way that many earthly lives are ended inside a space of loss and regret. It does not have to be this way. You can choose to step outside the confines of a physical-based consciousness and visit your last day on earth to learn the ending you are now creating. This is similar to the novelist who completes a first draft, then looks back with great insight and vision into the mind space that has been traversed. With this insight, the final installment informs the story’s beginning. The writer then revises the story and makes changes aligned with a more wholistic vision for the work. This is how most great works of art are created: they are collaborations of many different aspects of one’s self at different levels on many different days. It is in this way that you can travel through time to view the life story you are currently creating. With the ending firmly in mind, you can look back over your life with eyes that have witnessed the thoughts and feelings of your last day on earth and see all those areas you would "revise." When you return to the present moment, you can move forward, planting seeds in your garden of now that reflect the revised ending for your story of this earthly life.

Visiting Your Last Day on Earth

To visit your last day on earth, set the intention to travel in consciousness. Enter a meditative space through breathing and relaxation. Once inside this space, allow yourself to connect with the mind of this future self in the seconds before you pass over. It is inside this moment that the light of spirit floods in. You may have heard it said that just before you leave your earthly life, your entire life passes before your eyes. This is describing the moment that your earthly and higher consciousnesses unite and you are able to see your life from this all-knowing perspective. In a single flash, all that has been appears before you. You are able to see your life through the eyes of spirit. In this moment, you are able to see all those areas you would like to transform while there is still time to make changes and “revisions.” Uniting with your higher self now will help ensure your last day on earth is a joyful one spent in celebration and anticipation.

Seeing through the Eyes of Your Future Self

Allow your present self to see your life through the eyes of this future self about to pass over as it merges with the great illuminating light of spirit. Let yourself see all the places where you are in avoidance and denial, as well as the places where you lack compassion, empathy and loving kindness. Allow yourself to see the ways your life could be more aligned with spirit. Allow yourself to see the moments where you could be more courageous, more willing to step into the unknown and fulfill your spiritual purpose.

As you return to your present-moment consciousness, you will begin to put this knowledge to use, making changes in your life to create the revised ending.

Over time, you can choose to visit your last day on earth many times to view the ending you are currently creating. In this way, you learn to live your life backwards, allowing the ending of your story to inform the present moment. It is always your present moment that holds the power to transform your life in the shape of your highest vision - past, present and future.

Re: Celestial Weather & Influences
The Grand Irrationality and When It Will Be Set Into Motion For Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces
by Robert Wilkinson

In March and April 2010 the Grand Irrationality is triggered quite a few times by the inner planets. Expect things to get very heavy in the way of choices and changes involving Capricorn, Aquarius, Aries, and Leo sectors in our maps triggering shifts in Gemini, Virgo, and Scorpio resonant areas.

This 9 week period marks a very important point in getting clear about the magnetics and specific tasks to be done and training to be learned connected to forks in the road and forms of obsessive or compulsive behaviors in self or others. These will be most evident in the houses occupied by the signs listed above.

As noted in previous articles on The Grand Irrationality, as the inner planets make septiles, biseptiles, and triseptiles to Neptune, Pluto, or any other planet in one of the 7 zones of the Grand Irrationality, we confront major forks in the road in areas of our lives where these are transiting.

A brief reminder of what brought us to this dance. Saturn biseptiled Pluto and triseptiled Neptune and Chiron three different periods between September 2008 and August 2009. This set major decisions into play where each of us determined our "future destiny" by the choices we made.

Many of the ramifications of these realizations began to be set into play by Mars in October and November 2009. That was the time when what is currently in major focus began. Between mid-February and early April 2010 Mars occupies the first 3 degrees of Leo, making it the nozzle focusing the Grand Irrationality Neptune and Pluto energies! You can find more about this significant point of "fork in the road" energies by going to Mars in Leo Triseptile Neptune and Pluto Triggering the Grand Irrationality in February-March 2010.

As noted in part one, during March and April 2010 the hot zones of The Grand Irrationality are approximately 4-8 Capricorn, 26-30 Aquarius, 17-21 Aries, 8-12 Gemini, 30 Cancer to 4 Leo, 22-26 Virgo, and 13-17 Scorpio depending on the exact degrees of Neptune and Pluto.

Every time the Moon moves through these zones it triggers the whole pattern. The Moon first activated the Grand Irrationality during this 9 week span March 4-5 when it transited the Scorpio zone. Other times it will move through the Scorpio zone are April 1 and 28 (Full Moon!)

Continuing the series, the Moon transits the Capricorn zone and conjuncts Pluto at the Galactic Center March 8-9 and April 5. Each time the Moon moves through Capricorn it triggers past conjunctions of Pluto with the Galactic Center. This is releasing influences beyond comprehension (but not experiencing!) of 250 year transformational seeds of Galactic patterns into form.

Since the Moon nurtures and gives form to whatever it touches, each time it transits early Cap it focuses the Galactic Center energies currently sprouting as a result of past and present Pluto conjunctions with the GC. You can find out more about the Galactic Center energies by checking out Pluto at the Galactic Center. Also relevant is the article Galactic Center Conjunctions by Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto - the Newest Influences What's Coming in 2012, since all outer planet conjunctions to the GC set up long wave global transformational pulses through subsequent transits.

There is a lot to explore, so take your time and try to get a sense of these "galactic" energies that will impact our planet for at least 250 years to come, and probably much longer, if other long cycle time-wave factors are taken into consideration. I have numerous articles about the GC in the archives, so enjoy!

Now we turn to the Moon in Aquarius. When it transits that sign each month it activates the Solar Eclipse effects from both 2008 and 2009. These influences are also far-reaching in their effects on humanity, as when the Moon transits the Aquarius zone of the Grand Irrationality it conjuncts Neptune and Chiron. Each month this reinforces and gives form to long range manifestations arising from those very important eclipses.

It activates the Neptune and North Node points from the 18 Aquarius February 2008 Solar Eclipse, as well as the Neptune point in the 7 Aquarius January 2009 Solar Eclipse, both important long wave influences lasting for years.

The February 2008 Solar Eclipse has been and will unveil many things in years to come, and shows a widespread need to finish some renewal within a public or collective setup. The January 2009 Solar Eclipse has been and continues to bring forth original mutations and the birth of global Beings cut loose from local conditions and limited standards.

To remind you, it was extraordinarily important that the February 2008 Solar Eclipse began the year of the Earth Rat, indicating that year departed from prior long cycles since the Rat begins the sequence of Chinese Astrological animals. Due to the position of the Moon’s Nodes, which create the Eclipse effect, the January 2009 Solar Eclipse also marked the beginning of a Chinese Year, that of the Earth Ox.

So when the Moon transits Aquarius and conjuncts Neptune (and Chiron!) in March and April it sets both The Grand Irrationality AND echoes of the numerous Eclipses involving Aquarian energies. These periods are March 13 and April 9-10.

If you want to know more about the Aquarius Solar eclipses, please visit the articles dealing with them in the archives. Also important is the 2009 Lunar Eclipse, since the Sun was conjunct Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune thus impacting the number of months afterward according to the length of that eclipse. Jupiter in Aquarius also boosting the Eclipse energies in 2009, expanding the scope of what we learned and/or were taught. This set new Aquarian initiatives into motion for 12 years to come.

So during 2009, Jupiter set the Grand Irrationality into motion in a big way. This finalized some things and opened new vistas of group work and ways to manage our energies in collective circumstances. These were launched when it went through the Aquarius zone for the third and last time in December and January. You can find more about what that meant by going to Jupiter conjunct Neptune in the Aquarius zone of the Grand Irrationality.

Continuing the series of Lunar transits through the zones of the Grand Irrationality, the Moon will move through the Aries zone of the pattern on March 16-17 and April 12-13. As noted yesterday, these periods continue to give us Venus lessons that were set up between March and May 2009. If you want to learn more about the Venus lessons, check the archives for last March. The Moon then moves through the Gemini zone on March 21 and April 17, just as Mercury goes stationary retrograde.

Now we come to the BIG Kahuna, set into motion when Moon transits early Leo conjuncting Mars on or near its stationary degree. We got the first taste of this major influence on February 25-26 as Mars was about to go stationary direct. This set The Grand Irrationality into constant motion from then through early April.

This period will prove to be one of the most important platforms for all of 2010, launching spontaneous "conflagrations" in whatever area of our chart that 1 Leo occupies. The Moon will bring forth forms of the "nozzle effect" of Mars triseptile both Neptune and Pluto! By the time the Moon returns to Leo on April 21, Mars will have moved on, so at that point the Moon will bring forth echoes of the Mars effect.

The Moon transited the Virgo zone February 28-March 1, again bringing focus to what Saturn structured while it was in the Grand Irrationality during 2008-2009. It will again move through the Virgo zone on March 28-29 and April 24-25.

Even though Saturn has left the Virgo zone, the Moon's transit will "echo" the lessons, challenges, and responsibilities crystallized by Saturn's transit through the Grand Irrationality Virgo zone. These continue to provide us forms regarding Dharma, responsibility, and our on-going "education" preparing us to live an archetypal form appropriate to some need in our lives or our world.

The main signal points when the inner planets will trigger the effect during this 9 week period are Feb 22-April 8 (Mars in Leo), March 20-25 (Venus in Aries), March 25-29 (Mercury in Aries), and April 5-12 (Sun in Aries). Thus you can see there will be times that are very active!

If the Moon is also in a zone of the Grand Irrationality during the transit periods mentioned above, the pattern is reinforced or another point is added. It activates a fifth point when it's in Gemini, Virgo, and Scorpio.

In March, that puts a special emphasis on March 1 (Mars in Leo, Moon in Virgo - 4 points, 4 planets), March 4-5 (Mars in Leo, Moon in Scorpio - 4 points, 4 planets), March 8-9 (Mars in Leo, Moon conjunct Pluto - 3 points, 4 planets), March 13 (Mars in Leo, Moon conjunct Neptune in Aquarius - 3 points, 4 planets), March 17 (Mars in Leo, Moon conjunct Venus in Aries - 4 points, 5 planets), March 21 (Mars in Leo, Moon in Gemini, Venus in Aries - 5 points, 5 planets), March 25 (Moon conjunct Mars in Leo, Mercury and Venus in Aries - 4 points, 6 planets!), and March 28-29 (Mars in Leo, Mercury in Aries, Moon in Virgo - 5 points, 5 planets).

In April, we find the primary hot spot to be April 5 (Mars in Leo, Sun in Aries, Moon conjunct Pluto in Capricorn! - 4 points, 5 planets). I've not included Chiron in any of the above, but obviously it adds even another factor to the mix, if you're so inclined.)

These days will definitely mark important forks in the road since at times we'll have quite a few points active involving many planets. These will be times when the influence cut across many areas of life. For most of March 4 or 5 points will be active, with a potential 6th and even 7th whenever the transiting Ascendant or Midheaven transits an empty "hot zone." Obviously, during the period of mid-March through early April 2010 it will seem that the influence is non-stop and things will be in constant motion!

Each time the Grand Irrationality is stimulated by the inner planets, it manifests along its most characteristic Pluto in Capricorn-Neptune in Aquarius energies. Throughout last year, the Aquarius conjunctions added intensity to that anchoring aspect and brought the energies of the personality planets to focus the Jupiter conjunct Neptune influence.

This continued through early January 2010. The Capricorn conjunctions all coax forth forms of the Plutonic seeds set into motion by the December 2007 conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto, along with the December 2008 initiatives resulting from Mars conjunct Pluto.

Since the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all move through one of the zones in this forecast period, and the Moon moves through all 7 zones repeatedly, they will trigger changes in the houses ruled by these planets. This will also affect any life areas where we have planets in those hot zones. The houses they occupy as well as rule will be most directly affected.

Since these planets rule 8 of the 12 signs, we will be put through major choices and "forks in the road of destiny" in quite a few areas of our lives. Add the Moons in Virgo echoing the Saturn in Virgo energies of the recent past, and the Moon in Aquarius echoing the Jupiter in Aquarius influence on the Grand Irrationality, and it could be said that every area of our lives will continue to be impacted in major ways. This will show as important changes set into motion by our character choices over the next 9 weeks.

That's why it's important to stay on top of what's being triggered and when as the transiting planets as they move through these zones. Regardless of which zones are triggered when by what, during transits to any of the 7 zones of influence we can expect shifts, changes, forks in the road, irrational or compulsive behavior in self or others, and important times of decision. Adding to the intensity of this constant influence on our times, we also have other septile configurations that come and go between other planets, some more quickly than others.

An example of this is when the inner planets make septiles, biseptiles, and triseptiles to Uranus. Given the powerful influence of Uranus across the entire spectrum of human activity, you could see how this could also trigger major choices and changes in the realm of individuation, innovation, and creative revolution in our personality structure.

There were several hot zones when Uranian irrationality and individuation choices confronted us the past 3 months. As the inner planets are conjunct Uranus in March, these re-set the Uranian output for the year connected to the areas of life those planets rule. We will see important developments connected to these conjunctions when the planets move through the beginning of the third decan of Taurus. These times are April 17-19, May 9-13, and June 3-7.

Of course, the Moon also activates this irrational, revolutionizing influence 7 times a month as well, including the time spans just mentioned. While not "The Grand Irrationality," this is still a very important force in our individual and collective experience. And of course, during May and June the Grand Irrationality will be activated many times due to planets crossing through the Gemini and Leo zones.

Connected to the larger Grand Irrationality pattern, in December 2008 Mars conjuncted Pluto at the Galactic Center. That ended an old cycle that began January 2007 and activated the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction cycle that began December 2007. Given the constant Saturn pressure from the Virgo zone highly active at that time, it set up major shifts globally for 2009.

Of some substantial importance, late December 2008 was more volatile than usual due to Jupiter making a waning septile with Uranus. This marked the forming of the seed of the future Jupiter-Uranus cycle to begin in 2010 with their conjunction in early Aries. Please note that will accelerate and expand the coming major Cardinal squares and oppositions of 2009-2010-2011-2012-2013.

So during the next few weeks, keep seeing how you've been trained to do a greater work or service, and do whatever it takes in following through on the larger life you are here to do. As Jupiter moves through late Pisces it will show a productive stage of what we were doing 2008-09, bringing many things to surface, and the Summer conjunction with Uranus ushers in a whole new era.

Ah Thoth and the Goddess together seperated by 3 degress no less. Get ready for some relationship karma to play out.

Have you seen the planet Mercury after sunset yet? If not, what are you waiting for? The first week of April presents your best chance to catch Mercury in all of 2010.

Mercury is rather easy to spot right now, because it shines right next to the blazing planet Venus. Since Venus is the brightest celestial object after the sun and the moon, you should have little trouble seeing Venus low in the west some 30 minutes (or less) after sunset. Look for Mercury next to Venus. If you can’t see Mercury with the unaided eye, use binoculars. Mercury and Venus readily fit within a single binocular field.

Technically speaking, Mercury and Venus are not in conjunction, even though they’re only 3 degrees apart. (A finger-width at an arm length measures about 2 degrees of sky.) To be in conjunction, two planets have to be north and south of one another. When two planets are within 5 degrees – yet are not aligned north and south – it is called a quasi-conjunction.

Look for Mercury and Venus about 30 to 75 minutes after sunset but before it gets good and dark. Mercury and Venus follow the sun beneath the horizon about 1.5 hours after sundown.

Re: Celestial Weather & Influences
The Galactic Times

Dwarf Planets Go Grand! ~ 02 April 2010

The temptation to send a Galactic Times yesterday was overwhelming... but I resisted. I had thoughts of writing how someone turned over the Mayan Calendar and found the second half that actually ran to 5,666 A.D., depending upon when you count the BC/AD transition. As well, I played with an April Fools tale that the Hadron Collider, during its amazing proton smash job on the day that Mars reached his aphelion while he widely squared Ceres in Sag and also widely opposed Jupiter in Pisces (from the Sun's view), caused time to shift forward and we were now in 2014 and just didn't know it. Thus, we missed out on the whole 2012 thing. The problem with spoofs is next thing you know someone is quoting you as source materials for such "facts" and you end up the fop or foolee instead of the fooler.

I waited so that today we could address the current grand trine involving three dwarf planets. Without the dwarf planets this now present planetary attribute might be missed entirely. More, much of astrological blogging this next week will deal with Saturn's re-entry into Virgo (7th), preparing for the second to last opposition to Uranus in the current multiplex, too many of a good thing, transit cycle. First, a note on that. Next week Saturn walks back into the home/work space of life sign, shrieking about what a mess it is. "This better get fixed before Mercury retrograde (the 17th)," Saturn declares. "We have company coming! Uranus and his Shakespearean named satellite entourage will be here before you know it! You better get ready for the changes and prepared to deliver the lines of life as you make all the world your stage! Until this clutter is cleared, you can forget about the world being your oyster! Don't you tell me to chill. I don't care about 'creative flow process' and your meditation 'me time.' I don't want to know about your hang time with Neptune and Chiron. Get your nose back on the grindstone."

Okay, fine. The last time this opposition appeared, the rush was on to create change, implement breakthrough innovation and blend a healthy mix of what already works and what does not. Now, further down the road, insights not available during the last opposition appear, creating evidence that more adjustments, improvements and shifts lie immediately ahead. Uranus is sort of a Pilate planet to Saturn's backbone rulership. If you roll over that silly ball and stretch out compacted things, you might be able to flex and reach into nooks of consciousness that would have previously remained out of sight. "Repeat after me," Saturn insists, "This is not a setback. It is but an awareness of another enhancement for which you must engineer some nifty evolution. Since I'm the retrograde one and not that other guy, I demand you review the schematics you drew for your life and fix them."

You know, this grand trine thing going on right now, might offer a flashlight to shine into enlightening, obscure and out of the way places...

Everyone uses Pluto, despite his presumed lack of planet status. Unfortunately, with his transit in a most materially driven sign, the collective watches with trepidation, waiting for the other economic shoe to drop once again stomping upon global hopes of wealth. Naturally, with this year's patterns from Jupiter and Saturn and in a year or two from Uranus to Pluto, no one assumes we're out of the economic difficulty woods yet. Enough of that. How about plot and plan and roll with the punches? Work to create a solid foundation and deal with life as it comes. If Saturn weren't busy finding something else to fix, he'd utter something close to that.

Note the current trine of Venus to Pluto and observe Mercury trying to catch Venus, while trining Pluto (the first of three Mercurial trines to the underworld overseer, given the messenger's upcoming retrogradation). Tracking Pluto, the recently elevated to dwarf planet status former asteroid Ceres, follows along. Similar to Mercury trying to catch Venus, Ceres soon gets close to Pluto, but backs off short of an exact conjunction due to retrogradation, completing the task much later in the year.

Forget about the lack of exactness of the aspects Mercury to Venus and Ceres to Pluto. They're close enough to count and they build a four-planet trine. If one were a fan of underworld mythology, one might include the dwarf planet contender, Orcus. Orcus, who is another variation of Pluto, was specifically charged with overseeing promises, oaths, decrees and maybe even affirmations. Now we have a complete grand trine involving five planets, two of them personal and three of them dwarf, consistent with the great transformations come in small packages axiom.

In case you're not feeling connected to this, saunter outside just after sunset in the next couple of days. You'll see Venus straight away. She's the body that many end up using as a wishing star, not realizing her planet status. That works. After all, she oversees love and money, relationships and economic concerns, and making distinctions between needs and wants in arenas of familiar and financial considerations. You'll see another object a trifle closer to the horizon than Venus. That light would be the rare to see Mercury! It's a splendorous site indeed.

These two shining spectacles trine Orcus and Pluto and Ceres. It's a grand trine in Earth, seeking to create secure foundations, vast dominions and empires of consciousness. Regardless of your theological roots, a symbolic resurrection time appears this weekend. If you're Pagan, maybe consider each of the planets to be an egg left behind by the fertility goddess, Esther, which immensely pleases the new fertility dwarf planets, Makemake and Haumea. If you're agnostic or atheistic, pretend your life coach gave you an assignment to recite affirmations and utter declarations of how you want life to turn out under penalty of fine for failing to do so. Consider the visually spectacular sunset view as a platform for propitiation.

Let's fill up the celestial basket with some tasty affirmation nuggets for each of the planets. We'll move from inner to outer in the sequence:

Mercury - Clear your head. Shake off the inner critic. Choose words carefully that precisely articulate what you mean to say. Before affirming, review mundane details, budgets and such. Just for the heck of it, figure out how much transit time to allow for completing errands. Maybe cushion it by fifteen percent.

Venus - Take time to define the distinction between needs and wants. Establish a healthy attitude toward each category. Then, take on the wishing star phenomena.

Ceres - Release yourself from underdog status or any sense of being disadvantaged by perceiving yourself as your favorite cause. Donate to your own charity. Establish dogged determination, steering clear of any tendencies to go for broke (or bust), cutting off your nose to spite your face or burning bridges you may need later.

Pluto - When in maximum perseverance mode, take the high road. Focus on those things that are truly meaningful, permitting the rejection of battles not worth fighting, incidental issues and petty tyrants. Work your personal mojo to be white hot and perfectly impassioned.

Orcus - Make the vows. Petition the Universe. Keep in mind that this dwarf planet nugget keeps track of promises, oaths and agreements.

Finally, an Easter analog for justifying the use of dwarf planets... not that any justification is required at all. These bodies, when considered by density and mass, become the most influential in the solar system. Think of them as tightly packed, intent and solid as can be. When you get a chocolate Easter bunny, which do you prefer: large and hollow or smaller and solid? There's no right answer here and no polling is intended. It's just a personal preference for the planets thing.

A long time ago an astrologer told me the antidote for trying times is a trine. Try the trine. It's quite grand.

Re: Celestial Weather & Influences
This Week's Moonscopes Forecast
For the week of April 4 to April 10

Sunday(*v/c-evening): the Moon is in Sagittarius
The astrological signs Leo and Sagittarius both like fun, social events and especially celebrations. Mars, the planet that rules activity, is in Leo and is in a nice configuration with the Moon right now, so enjoyment of all kinds is the keyword for today!

Monday, Tuesday: the Moon is in Capricorn
While the weekend was focused on expanding the mind and having lots of fun, the first part of this week is tailor-made for taking care of business. It would be good to wind up a project, perhaps one that has been in process for a while, before Saturn leaves Libra and returns to Virgo on April 8 (Thursday) for several months. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is in its highest energy place right now - exalted in Libra - and this sign gets along very well with Capricorn. Now is the time to review a to-do list and check something off that will give you a nice feeling of accomplishment.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday(v/c-evening): the Moon is in Aquarius
Mercury, Venus, and Mars are all in sharp configurations with the Moon. Any way you look at it, balance will be required and yet this is exactly what the sign Aquarius is not about. It prefers to keep things unknown and to pop out at the most unexpected times with the most unexpected surprises. Something will not go exactly as planned and the best frame of reference is to take everything in stride, or as they used to say in the late 60's & early '70's - go with the flow, man. Be cool. Far out. Right on.

Saturday: the Moon is in Pisces
Jupiter is in Pisces, one of the two signs it originally ruled (the other is Sagittarius, which it still rules, while Neptune has assumed the rulership of Pisces). When a planet is in the sign that it rules, either by the placement in a birth chart or by its current location, it is considered to be in its 'dignity' and the energy is considered to be stronger. Jupiter conjunct (in the same sign as) the Moon indicates help of some type from a woman, especially someone who has a sense of respectful, honorable nobility about her demeanor even if she doesn't appear to be from a certain social strata.

Check your astrology chart to find which house (section of your chart) has the current Moon sign on the cusp (the beginning edge) & apply Forecast information to that area of your life as well.
For example, the Moon is in Leo and one of the suggestions is to entertain - however Leo is located in the 12th house of your chart, which is an inward energy place...then have a small, quiet gathering. By contrast, if Leo is located in the 1st house of your chart, an outward energy place...have a party! Don't have an astrology chart? Click here .

It is interesting to note when the current Moon is in the same sign as your birth Moon and to see how the flavor of that day carries through the next 30 days.

Current Planet Positions:
Sun - Aries, until Apr. 20
Mercury - Taurus, until June 10
(**retrograde Apr. 18 - May 11)
Venus - Taurus, until Apr. 25
Mars - Leo, until June 7
Jupiter - Pisces, until Jan. 23, 2011
Saturn - Libra, until Oct. 6, 2012
(Virgo, Apr. 8, 2010 - Jul. 22, 2010)
Uranus - Pisces, until Mar. 12, 2011
Neptune - Aquarius, until Feb. 4, 2012
Pluto - Capricorn, until Nov. 20, 2024

Current Asteroid Positions:
Ceres - Sagittarius, until Oct. 9
(Capricorn, Mar. 20 - June 8)
Pallas - Scorpio, until Oct. 8
Juno - Taurus, until April 18
Vesta - Virgo, Nov. 20 - Aug. 10
(Leo, Feb. 17 - May 27)
Chiron - Aquarius, until Feb. 18, 2011

Current Asteroid Transits:
Ceres - Envelope and support an expanded world view.
Pallas - The focus is detachment & when, how, or where to use it.
Juno - Solid, steady relationships are priceless and worth every effort.
Vesta - Service to others with no complaints or regrets.
Chiron - Regeneration comes in unusual forms.

Note: Timeframes for Moon signs, void-of-course periods, and current planet & asteroid positions are noted for Eastern time zone (USA). Please adjust according to your own location. Times are not given if the void-of-course Moon occurs for a very short period or if it occurs during the night (based on Eastern time zone).

* v/c = Void-of-Course - When the Moon is void-of-course, spend time working on projects already in progress, creative endeavors, or self-improvement. Void-of-course simply means that no planets are aspecting the Moon. It's best not to start new projects, sign important agreements, or go shopping when the Moon is void-of-course because the result will probably be unsatisfactory in some way.

** Mercury Retrograde - the speed of the planet slows down considerably. Communications, paperwork, electronics, and traffic can become very mixed-up or delayed during this time. A situation will be in the process of changing, so wait until Mercury is direct to finalize anything. In general, maintain a slower, more cautious pace in daily affairs. Always allow at least two days before (to slow down) and after (to resume regular activities) a Mercury retrograde period. Read More about Mercury Retrograde here

ARIES SOLAR FESTIVAL 2010
"PANDORA'S JAR AND THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT"
30 MAR 2010
By Malvin Artley

Greetings, my Friends!

It has been a busy time here in Adelaide, with the Fringe Arts
Festival and the Clipsal 500 race just finished and with state
elections just decided. It has been quite busy with work from my end
as well, as you may have noticed from the lack of the Sagittarius and
Pisces letters. I had an interesting experience at work the other day,
one which set me thinking about how we perceive things and how easily
we give ourselves over to thinking along certain lines. I had placed
an order for a part for an installation I was doing on a machine and
it had duly arrived at the transport depot, where I had to go pick it
up. When I arrived there the guy at the counter took the slip of paper
with the reference number on it, disappearing into the labyrinth of
boxes on the shelves behind the counter. When he reappeared some time
later he was carrying what I thought to be rather a large box,
considering what I had ordered. As I walked out of the depot back to
my ute I was pondering on what in the world I was doing with such a
large package. Perhaps the supplier had made a mistake and screwed up
my order (Hey, it is known to happen.) Perhaps I had forgotten what I
had ordered and what arrived really did require such a big box. I was
curious.

As I approached my ute I began to tear into the box. What in the world
was in there, I thought? I got the box open and started pulling out
large portions of plastic and bubble wrap. There was nothing in there
except for bubble wrap and empty plastic bags. It was quite puzzling.
By all appearances I had received a generous shipment of bubble wrap.
Thank you, supplier! Bubble wrap always comes in handy when I have to
ship Christmas presents to my family in the States. Then, I started
sifting through the apparently empty plastic bags, eventually to find
my quarry - the legend plate I had ordered for the switch I had to
install on the machine. I was expecting something considerably larger.
What I got instead was a tiny little strip of plastic, roughly 1"x
¼" (25 x 6 mm). I just sat there and laughed to myself. "What a
waste!" I thought. All that packaging for such a tiny item. Well, they
certainly ensured that it would not be damaged. Thank you, supplier,
once again! In the end it was a case of - to paraphrase an old saying
- you can't judge the contents by the packaging. To be serious about
it, I reckon whoever packed that legend plate had a pretty good sense
of humor. However, the 'episode of the deceptive box' set me thinking
about how we so often give ourselves over to deceptive appearances. In
the end, as we will all eventually realize, nothing in the outer world
is as it seems.

Strange as it may seem, Aries has much to teach us about overcoming
ordinary appearances. As we have now entered the Aries interlude and
thus the beginning of the peak spiritual impulse for the year, our
musings and meditations become quite important as the days process
through the next few months. Aries is one of the 'power signs', one
which is equated with great power in a spiritual sense - one closely
associated with the first Ray, the expression of Will or Power in our
local universe. Aries commences or starts things. It is known as the
sign denoting beginnings and any Aries type (Sun or Ascendant in that
sign) is known as a person who is great at getting things moving or of
always being in on anything that is new. It is the sign par excellence
of initiation or of the initiating impulse with all that the term
'initiation' implies. Thus, in spiritual parlance, it is a great
saving force and the herald of better conditions. In everyday terms,
Aries brings change. The trouble is that in our personal lives change
is not always seen as a move toward better conditions: in fact it is
often seen to be quite the opposite.

The three rulers of Aries - orthodox, esoteric and hierarchical - are
all planets that are equated with change in some manner. Mars (the
orthodox ruler) is the agent of destruction of old outworn orders and
of the conflicts that engender that destruction. Mars brings to Aries
the energy of 'entering into battle for the Lord' - the fighting
instinct and the energy devoted to seeing through any change that is
needed, either in the world or in one's personal life. Mercury (the
esoteric ruler) is mutability 'personified' - ever-changing, ever-
relating, ever-moving - the 'agent of adjustment', and brings to Aries
the ability to arrive at 'unity through effort'. Uranus (the
hierarchical ruler) is known as the agent of sudden change and the
unexpected. This latter ruler is the true 'engine of Aries', if you
will, the planet that is the real force behind the workings of the
sign in our world. It brings to Aries the 'will to be and to do' and
'unfolds the power to manifest'. Uranus brings the 'urge to better
conditions', and it is this planet that we need to investigate to get
at the true meaning of Aries for the festival of Easter this year.

Aries, in esoteric astrology, is known as the 'birthplace of divine
ideas'. On the face of it one might think that a 'divine idea' is some
great overarching principle, a profound Law in action, a stream of
mind which we can only hope to glimpse some day, but which is so far
beyond our present mental capacity as to seem impossible of
comprehension. Well, a divine idea is indeed all these things and
more, but we are mistaken if we believe that it is anything akin to
what we conceive of as a human 'idea'. In fact, the vast majority of
human thoughts are of a worldly nature - temporal, fleeting, mistaken
with regard to the truth and full of habitual patterns. It is only
when the mind becomes transfigured by a direct realization of one of
the aforementioned 'divine ideas' that we gain any true insight into
the real workings of divine mind. In Buddhist terms, it is not until
one enters or attains the first ground and has a direct realization of
emptiness, however fleeting, that one attains any true realization of
our existence on this earth (or should I say, lack thereof?). In
Christian terms this is the Transfiguration, and in Theosophical terms
this would be the third initiation from a human standpoint, or the
first from a larger perspective. Such an experience is the mark that
one is incontrovertibly and from thenceforth unwaveringly on the road
to final liberation and full realization as a divine being - an
Initiate, or Arya being. How does Uranus fit in with the process just
described, though?

In orthodox astrology Uranus is called one of the transpersonal
planets, or 'one of the outers' (which has some interesting
connotations as a turn of phrase). The transpersonal planets are those
outside the orbit of Saturn - Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, as well as
all the 'new' trans-Neptunian bodies, many asteroids and plutinos.
Actually, for the sake of esoteric debate, Pluto is not a
transpersonal planet. However, it does lead one to the feet of
Neptune, in a manner of speaking. As an aside, Pluto rids us of the
personal obstacles to spiritual life and readies us for the experience
of the true transpersonals, Uranus and Neptune. Uranus is a 'reaping
planet' in our solar system, along with Saturn and Neptune and as such
can be seen to be a way-station for those who do reach full
enlightenment (full initiatory status) and who are set to pass beyond
the bounds of our solar systemic life and onwards to ever-greater work
and realization. The work of Uranus is to manifest the divine in the
outer worlds, the worlds of form, and all beings who gravitate toward
that type of work eventually pass on to Uranus, in a manner of
speaking, once they have attained the requisite realizations.

With the preceding points in mind, it is time to get to the main
points about Uranus and how it works in the individual - if it does at
all. From a personal perspective the activity of Uranus is primarily
disruptive. It does indeed bring sudden change and unexpected
occurrences and it is perhaps this latter point which gives the clue
as to what Uranus is primarily about in an individual sense: Uranus
presents us with the opportunity to see things in a new light - to see
things aside from their ordinary appearances. As such, Uranus is a
great manifesting force and the changes it brings to an individual are
often permanent in terms of one's life direction. Uranus conveys the
spiritual force, which is a collective or unifying force, and one of
the big keys to dealing with Uranian transits, progressions and the
like is not to take things personally, but rather, to see how to
become more responsive to collective needs and realities. The same is
true for Neptunian transits. As an aside, for Pluto transits and the
like, the emphasis is most always personal, even though Pluto does
have a connection with the masses. The onus with Pluto is always to
look at our own projections in a given circumstance. With Uranus,
however, one cannot project. There is never anything to 'hook to' in a
personal sense with Uranian experiences. In other words, one is not
dealing with the personal or the subconscious with Uranus (or Neptune
either, for that matter).

When one starts to respond directly to Uranian impulses and begins to
work consciously with them, one's world is never the same thereafter
with regard to how one lives, the ethics of living, how one sees the
world, how one relates to others, and so forth. Uranus brings an end
to worldly life. Nothing fits neatly in the box any more - in other
words, one has to change one's mental outlook or the mental models
into which one tries to fit everything. The problem with Uranian
energies, however, is that the models are ever-changing, and often in
quite unexpected directions. The whole experience of Uranus can be
rather maddening at the start, until one realizes what is actually
taking place.

There is a classical myth associated with Uranus. In most accounts
Uranus was the husband of Gaia (the Earth) and was seen as the
personification of the Sky as a fertile element. Uranus was one of the
primordial gods, who existed before real (human) time. So fertile was
he that he fathered some forty-five children with Gaia. He hated his
offspring and interred the youngest of them in Tartarus, deep within
the earth, where they caused Gaia great pain. After so many children
Gaia got pretty tired of the endless series of pregnancies and
entreated her sons to protect her from their father. All of them
refused except for the youngest son, Cronus (Saturn), who ambushed his
father one day and, using a sickle his mother had supplied him,
castrated his father, casting the severed testicles into the sea.
Afterwards Cronus re-interred his siblings in Tartarus rather than
freeing them. For his heinous acts, both Uranus and Gaia prophesied
that Cronus would eventually meet the same fate as his father in that
he would be deposed by one of his own sons. Due to that prophesy
Cronus devoured all of his sons, save for Zeus (Jupiter) who escaped
due to the deceit of Cronus by his mother, Rhea (Cybele, the mother of
the gods).

The preceding myth has many facets and a full explanation is not
really needed here, but there are a couple of very important points:
Uranus was the first king of the Atlantes and was the first to teach
them civilization. He was a master astronomer and devised the first
calendar. He knew all the cycles of the heavens. Uranus represents
primordial mind - the mind which has existed since beginningless time
- that 'mind' in each of us, and indeed every being, which persists
from life to life and which we finally rediscover and realize at the
end of our journey to full enlightenment. Uranus' youngest son, Cronus
(Saturn) is equated with human time and is often said to be the
personification of time, typically being portrayed with the scythe
used to castrate his father, the scythe denoting reaping. In more
esoteric terms, Saturn, or Cronus, is equated with karma and thus the
wheel of life and death. "Whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he
reap" is a quote often associated with Saturn. Saturn represents human
(worldly) choice and human concepts of time. Our human choices bind us
to the wheel of life and death, thus clouding the primordial mind -
obscuring it - castrating it, if you will, rendering it non-effectual
in one's day-to-day life. In other words, one's karma prevents one
from full realization as a god (divine being) and so long as we are
bound to the wheel of life and death (so long as the last jot of karma
remains) we live in a deluded state, blind to greater or lesser degree
as to our true nature - that we are akin to and indeed 'sky-goers'.

The preceding paragraph may seem a bit confusing, but there is a point
to be made here in a roundabout way: Most people respond in fullness
to the planets outward to Saturn. Saturn, and thus karma, rules the
life of the average person. Uranus is an unknown in such a case and is
only dimly sensed when great social or earth movements are afoot.
Uranus always affects the collective and not so much the individual,
although collective movements always have an effect on the individual.
However, once one firmly decides that they have had enough of karma
and worldly life and begins the spiritual path, then Uranus comes
increasingly into play in the life of the person and they begin to
respond directly to Uranian influences. Saturn begins to meet his fate
and to be deposed by his offspring (us), figuratively speaking. The
aspiring person then becomes a citizen of two worlds, worldly and
spiritual, 'in the world but not of it'. Once the light of the
primordial mind touches the consciousness of a person then a veritable
Pandora's jar (mistranslated as 'box') is opened and all the evils the
person has committed since the dawn of their cyclic existence come
forward to be accounted for. This is not to say that all a person's
karma comes due at once, but a process is instigated whereby the
process of clearing that karma (known as 'obstructions' in Buddhism -
an apt term I would say) is greatly accelerated. Hey, we asked for it!
We pay the price for freedom.

Why is the spiritual path so difficult at times? Well, it is so
precisely because we misconstrue what is actually happening with our
process of trying to free ourselves from the wheel of life and death.
We try to remain attached to what we have known, subtle as it may be.
Uranus brings the truth, and the truth is that there is ultimately
nothing to which we can remain attached. This speaks of one of the
four noble truths of the Buddha: To paraphrase it, where there is
attachment, there is suffering. Uranus represents absolute freedom,
the non-obstructive emptiness of space itself, yet also the wisdom of
all the experiences contained and had therein. Uranus teaches us how
to be truly civilized - content with our lot but never satisfied,
compassionate toward all, unattached to outcomes or things, equal in
attitude toward all, and grasping only at that which will ensure
ultimate happiness for all. Uranus is completely unselfish in its
effects and actions. In short, Uranus recognizes no sense of self in
the human sense of the term. In truth, it is that sense of self that
ultimately binds us to life in the outer worlds. Uranus gives us
freedom from ourselves.

With the preceding points being said, one might think that Uranus
brings only difficulty in life. Quite the contrary is the case. It is
true that Uranus brings in the new and heralds better conditions.
Every discovery in life that releases us from bondage, either worldly
or spiritually, and leads us to better conditions comes under the
realm of Uranus. Uranus rules science and technology for that very
reason. Science has been a tremendous boon to human life. It has
ushered in the modern age. This is but one example of Uranian
influence. However, lying behind such discoveries and scientific and
technological advancements are very great and occult truths - divine
ideas. Science has, for instance, proven that solid matter - what we
normally think of as the basis of material existence - has no basis in
fact. Modern physics has proven this incontrovertibly. Such concepts
as the wave-particle duality and general relativity (Einstein's famous
equation that states that all is energy), for instance, show us that
what we perceive of as solid matter is actually simply standing energy
waves. In short, we do not live in a substantial universe. We live in
and are an integral part of a vast, infinite sea of energy, ever-
changing, and with everything interdependent. This is but one example
of many. Science has indeed proven many of the once closely guarded
secrets of religious and esoteric domain. Life is not as we perceive
it through our human minds. Only the primordial mind dwells in the
truth.

To bring this discussion to its final points, Uranus leads us to new
perceptions and thus new technologies, worldly or spiritual. It ends
forever our old ways of acting and perceiving. It rattles our
comfortable little worlds and shakes us from our slumber. We do not
like it, at least at first, but it is good for us. It gets us moving
forward, and that is always a good thing. One can be certain that if
one has had a true Uranian experience, then one has been touched by
something very profound and extremely auspicious. Uranus, especially
working through Aries, gives us control over forces, particularly over
Yama, (or death, occultly considered), the power of destruction
applied with love, greater cooperation with the Plan and the power of
organization, to name a few qualities. The Aries interlude always
opens the doorway to these energies and it is a very profound period
in which to meditate for all the reasons thus enumerated. It is also
why Aries types, though often seen as real pains in various body parts
and hard to take at times, are nonetheless the true pioneers of the
zodiac and ultimately people who, at least unconsciously, are here in
this world to perform a real service to us all. Thus, the catch cry of
the Aries Initiate:

I come forth from the plane of mind I rule.

However, the 'plane of mind' thus referred to is not the mental plane,
but instead our highest essence which is found upon the plane of
paranirvana, at least with regard to the individual. With that, what
does this Festival of the Risen Christ hold in store for us this year?
The full moon takes place on the 30th of March 2010 at 1:25 AEDT (2:25
AM UT). As is usual, the Sabian symbol for the degree of the Sun says
a lot about what the actual figure conveys, and reads as follows:

"A teacher gives new symbolic forms to traditional images." 10 Aries

This symbol speaks directly of a process of abstraction - giving
abstract symbols to everyday images. It is a very Uranian symbol. In
occult terms it speaks of the process whereby the aspirant or disciple
removes oneself from worldly conceptions. The spiritual worlds are
worlds of symbols and of energies, not traditional forms. Whenever one
makes contact with the inner realms they are always in communication
with symbols. In short, one has to give up ordinary concepts of things
if one truly wants to walk the path of return. Ordinary conceptions
play no true part in the spiritual life. They are things to be
abandoned. When we say truth is stranger than fiction, the fiction we
should actually consider is what we cal everyday life, not what we
imagine. The lunar symbol conveys even further the Uranian theme we
have considered in this letter, and it reads as follows:

"Having passed safely through narrow rapids, a canoe reaches calm
waters." 10 Libra

The 'narrow rapids' in this symbol are an apt description of what one
might encounter in a Uranian interlude - being dashed about, unsure of
one's direction, having to make sudden and decisive movements, being
completely uncertain of outcomes, sometimes not being able to see the
outcome due to the sheer volume of water (experience) - yet we watch
it all unfold before us if we could only stay calm in the face of it.
The one thing we can be certain of in such a case is that it will
eventually have an outcome. We may not like it, but an outcome is
assured, and the nature of that depends in large part upon how we
handle ourselves in the moments that pass us by. Perhaps we would need
a new canoe afterwards. Perhaps we find a new sense of strength within
ourselves. Perhaps we do not make it through the experience. Perhaps
two of the three results are had. We do not know how it will turn out
until the end, but the experience will indelibly mark us. However, if
we successfully navigate the course of the event, then we would have
learned a greater measure of self-control and inner poise, hopefully,
or perhaps we become a basket case and vow never to get in a canoe
again. There is, however, always a sense of relief at the end as we
move into calmer waters. At its best, such an experience gives us an
indomitable sense of strength and resolve. At its worse it sets us
back a bit, perhaps to learn better at a later date.

The lunar symbol just described sets the tone for the dynamics of the
full moon figure for this festival. The solar symbol gives us a
description of the ultimate result of the 'rapids' - our 'Pandora's
box'. This is a very striking chart. The full moon axis forms a t-
square with Pluto. Saturn is approaching its latest opposition with
Uranus. Saturn forms a 'heartbreak clash' with Chiron, and there is a
quintile rectangle formed by the Saturn/Uranus opposition and the
nodal axis. There is a lot of creative force in this chart, as well as
dynamic worldly tension.

As I stated in the Iron Tiger letter, this will be a year of
revolutionary import in some way. As we look out upon the world with
the eyes of the media (if that is to be trusted in any great degree)
we see certain polarizations arraying themselves against each other
and reactionary forces coming to the fore and rattling sabres in their
own ways. This chart, which is close in nature to the Aries ingress
chart, reflects the general character of the Iron Tiger year this
year. We have seen the reaction by the right in the US to the health
care package, weak though it is (but at least it is a start) with all
the associated rhetoric and scaremongering. Remember the Medicare
debate and how contentious that was at the time? It was the same then
as now. There are problems with intransigence in Israel, unrest in
Thailand and growing unrest in South America. Russia is dealing with
terrorist attacks and Iran is a hot spot to watch. Especially from mid-
year onwards, the political and financial climate in the world will be
unsettled. The September 2006 eclipse will be activated by the
retrograde Saturn within the month and Uranus will oppose that point
mid-year. I have always seen that eclipse point as a sort of time bomb
waiting to go off. So, there are things to watch for over the coming
months.

The t-square previously mentioned is a difficult one and one which
particularly warns of people's projections and mass unrest. Pluto at
the apex of any t-square, especially with the luminaries brings a
steady action of erosion of old power structures, a propensity toward
mob consciousness in a mundane figure, power struggles and the
ripening of individual and collective karma. I call Pluto the great
'karmic ripener'. Pluto stations in a few days, too, over the Easter
holidays, meaning we are about to enter a period of several months
where the normal flow of the subconscious is at bay, causing
misunderstandings and frustrations because people will feel that
'something is just not right'. Instead of projection onto others, this
retrograde period of Pluto can mark a time of self-sabotage, but also
of deep inner searching, both for individuals and groups. When we keep
in mind that Saturn is also square to Pluto, then frustration levels
are increased, especially since both planets are retrograde from the
1st onward. Talk about a good April Fool's setup!

In addition, Pluto is at the midpoint of the Sun/Saturn opposition.
The typical reading of that midpoint structure is the threat of loss,
inhibitions due to illness, and the pressure to change one's entire
value system. This rather ominous sounding set of key words gets right
to the crux of what this chart is about. There is a crying need for
certain ways of thinking and acting to be re-evaluated. The Israeli
scenario has not worked for years, for instance, and only foments
resentment and conflict in that part of the world. People on all sides
of that question need to sit back and take a different look at things.
In fact, there are many parts of the world where old hatreds and
ingrained attitudes hold sway that are being recognized now as being
quite counterproductive. This midpoint structure highlights the
opportunity for change that is before us now.

Saturn is under a fair amount of activation this year. It will be a
time of karmic clearing and readjustments in the collective. If one's
own chart is activated by Saturn, Uranus and Pluto then the same
applies to the individual. The spiritual opportunity is great, as is
the propensity for reactivity. The latter should be firmly kept in
mind, as reactionist attitudes are precisely what should be warned
against for the next couple of year. Cool heads need to prevail. We
need to stay focused as the collective canoe goes down the rapids. The
Saturn/Uranus opposition (exact on 26th Apr on the Sept 06 eclipse
point and on the 26th of July on the first degrees of Aries/Libra)
will likely bring financial and social instability. Remembering our
discussion of Uranus, here we have the juxtaposition of the old and
the new, the mundane and the universal, of bondage to samsara and
freedom from the same, and on very significant degrees from a mundane
standpoint. We cannot help but to see significant and far-reaching
changes under this planetary influence. I had forecast in previous
letters that mid-year of 2010 would herald greater instability, as
there are several eclipses being activated through this period and
very significant planetary activity, mostly between Saturn, Uranus and
Pluto, all 'power players'. The play this year is for keeps in many
people's eyes and there are many throughout the world who are calling
this period in our human history the 'end days'. I do not buy into
that, but there are many who so believe.

The final contact of Saturn with Pluto for the present cycle comes on
21st of August at 3º of Libra/Capricorn. That square in and of itself
will not activate anything major, but depending upon the world
situation at the time, it may serve to precipitate some events. Saturn/
Pluto interactions often bring reformation of national boundaries and
sometimes wars. It there is going to be a flashpoint in the world in
that regard we would expect to see it mid-year if not next month.
Tensions are mounting, but so is the momentum for positive change and
peace. We will have to be proactive in our meditations and see what
transpires. There are certain national karmas that will have to work
out somehow and all this activity with Uranus and Pluto influencing
Saturn will have to facilitate the ripening of that karma.

As for other indicators in the full moon figure, Jupiter is trine the
nodes, thus influencing the creative output of the aforementioned
quintile rectangle. That rectangle represents the creative tension
necessary to release instinctual and maternal karma as well as gifts
brought over from past lives. It also presents us with the opportunity
to override certain instinctual tendencies in our nature or at least
to see them in a different light. The Saturn/Chiron link presents us
with the opportunity to address any lingering unresolved matters from
the past, as Chiron has a significant part to play in the healing of
what we like to call the 'inner child'. On the whole, this full moon
figure represents a significant potential for healing and for the hard
work necessary to bring that about. There will be forces trying to
offset that healing or stop it altogether, but people are tired of the
old ways of doing things and are ripe for a more positive world. Added
to the above aspects Mercury and Venus both sextile the Neptune/Chiron
conjunction, and mark an extraordinarily idealistic and high-minded
configuration. True, Venus and Mercury are applying to a square with
Mars, but that will only precipitate the needed conflicts that will
motivate a change for the better, hopefully. In all, this is one of
the more potent and dynamic full moon charts I have seen for a while.
I hope we can all avail ourselves of the opportunities therein
represented.

There have been many times for me in recent years when things have not
fit in the box, in a manner of speaking. As my path has progressed -
and I am sure most of you are the same - the past and many things I
thought were of importance have had to drop away. Sentiment is a thing
best left alone, for it binds one to the past. I still have my little
legend plate. I have not had the time to fit it to the machine yet.
Every time I look at it I smile to myself and think about all the
times I have missed the mark in my perceptions of things and
circumstances. Life never turns out the way one expects. One's true
spirit always sees to that. We are not here to blithely go along and
accept that traditions and accepted norms are the proper ways to do
things in the world. Sometimes we need to turn our little world and
the world of those around us upside down.

I may have mentioned the following little anecdote before and I forget
where I read it, but there was once a teacher that asked his students
if they were happy with their lives, whereupon they answered that they
were indeed. He then looked at them sternly and replied, "Then, why
are you not out setting up those crises in your lives that will enable
you to take your next steps forward!?" That anecdote has always stuck
with me. If we are the masters of our fate and the navigators of our
spiritual destinies, why do we suppose that doors should magically
open and that we will be safely ushered along without effort or
strife? We have to paddle the canoe, sometimes through still waters
and sometimes through the rapids. Sometimes we simply have to do
difficult things in order that all involved will be better off.
Progress always costs the status quo when Uranus does its work. All
Aquarian, Libran and Aries types know this instinctively. However, if
you really want to know how to instigate change, ask an Aries. They
will be more than happy to show you how!

Happy Easter, everyone! (Drive safely!)

Jeeze Mal, what the hell was all that?????????????????
OK I read the first paragraph as I work as a maintenance electrician as well, but the rest??????????????? I'm afraid my bullshit meter went off..........................
Now before you get upset let me explain....................I'm only trying to HELP
With over 20 years on the spiritual path, the main thing that I have come to realize is that the "seperate self" will try any trick to stop you becoming spiritual!!!!!!
It's main trick is to make you THINK you are spritual by sending you off on a tangnt......

Re: Celestial Weather & Influences
Planet Alert Newsletter

April 2010

Web site www.alcseattle.com

Spring is here and everything is beautiful around my house and garden.
The fruit trees, daffodils, and tulips are blooming and the other
trees are starting to blossom out. The grass is green and there is
lots of color everywhere. In a couple of months our Dahlias will be in
full bloom and they are gorgeous. We also have a vegetable garden and
I am looking forward to the fresh veggies. My husband does a wonderful
job of gardening by taking care of the flowers and planting the
veggies. I love having a house and garden.

Did you feel the energy from the past full moon that was on March 29,
2010? It about wiped me out. I felt like every ounce of energy was
drained from my body. There was a lot of very intense releasing of old
energy that went on for a couple of months that climaxed at this past
full moon. There was also lots of violence in the news the past couple
of days with the subway bombing in Russia and fires in various places.
This will continue as the Sun moves through the fire sign Aries and
Mars moves through the fire sign Leo. Unfortunately this brings lots
of events such as fires, volcanic eruptions, and violence.

As the frequency of Earth gets higher and higher some people are in
bliss and others freak out. It's like when the energy from solar
flares or CMEs hit the Earth's magnetic field; it affects our brains
and people who can't handle the high energy kind of go crazy. There
are also other manifestations such as Gamma Ray Bursts and planetary
aspects. As long as Saturn and Uranus are in opposition, there will be
crazy energy out there. Saturn rules the old way of doing things and
Uranus rules the new. It gets kind of chaotic as things seem to fall
apart before they get transformed into something new.

The Saturn/Uranus opposition also causes revolutions like what has
been going on in our government for the past year with the battle
between the Republicans and the Democrats. It gets kind of ridiculous
at times. It's also like there is a mind war going on across the
Internet. There is a lot of information and disinformation on the Net.
You really need to use your discernment with the emails that circulate
all over the world. Some are true and others are not. And then there
are the viruses that seem to arise every now and then. We do live in
interesting times.

The health bill was passed in March. That was a little before I
thought it would happen. I thought that would happen after Saturn went
retrograde back into Virgo, which happens on April 7th. Maybe the
energy was the strongest when it was getting ready to retrograde.
Virgo rules health, healing, diet, digestion and illness. Saturn will
be in Virgo, in opposition to Uranus, until July 21, 2010. What a
turbulent time we have ahead of us. Then in July Saturn will move back
into Libra to stay for another 2 plus years.

The energy of the sign Libra is a lot different than the sign Virgo.
Libra rules lawyers, courts of law, judges, and lawsuits. Lots of
people are in an uproar about the child molestation that has been
going on in the Catholic churches for so long. This time they are
going to court to fight it and they are even suing the Pope for
ignoring what was going on in Germany when he lived there before he
became Pope. The Vatican is asking for donations to fight this
allegation. It's interesting to me, from an astrological point of
view, that the lawsuits were filed as Saturn was just starting to move
through Libra. Saturn also rules Karma and what you put out comes back
to you. It looks like the Catholic churches have some Karma coming
back to them.

The sign of Libra affects Italy, according to the way I do Astrology.
This means that Saturn will be there for the next two years, and
lawsuits will continue against the Vatican. The Sun is in Aries right
now and because Aries opposes Libra, there is the possibility of a
volcanic eruption in Italy at any time, even now, or within the next
two years. Maybe all the discord surrounding the Vatican will cause
the Earth to respond. The Earth does respond to our emotions. This is
why it is so important to remain peaceful inside and to become an
observer instead of a participant. I do not mean that you don't do
anything, I mean that if you are going to get involved in something,
do it in a peaceful manner.

I believe we are all connected to the God force by the spark of light
that is within us. I do not believe there is a God sitting on a throne
somewhere judging us for our sins. We are responsible for what we do
in this life-time. Sometimes we choose to release ourselves from past
life karma and then wonder why we have had such a hard life this time
around. Karma explains why there is so much of what we consider
injustice in this world. Who knows what someone did in a past life?
This is why the Bible says "Judge not, lest ye be judged, or
criticized". I believe criticism is a form of judgment.

I believe that God is love. In the beginning was love; then came
sound, light, and material manifestation. Love encompasses everything;
it is the force that holds the world together. Thought is what created
our Universe. Think about how powerful our thoughts can be and what we
end up creating for ourselves. Lots of thoughts run through our brains
all the time and they do not create. It's thoughts that have emotions
behind them that create. Our emotions put these thoughts into
manifestation. Emotion is energy in motion. This is why when you get
very angry or upset about something that energy comes back to you in
some way, and that is why it is so important to stay peaceful within.
As long as there are people in the world who are angry and upset and
ready to fight, the Earth feels this energy and responds by Earth
changes. Let there be peace in the world and let it begin with me.
When enough people in the world feel peaceful, then there will be
peace.

We need to be as clear and peaceful as we can be before the full moon
of April 28, 2010. This is the most powerful full moon I have seen in
a long time. It starts out by Mars opposing Pluto by declination. This
is considered a dark manifestation. Mars is focused into 38 north
latitude which might activate Tehran in some way. The Sun, Mercury and
the moon will be activating the Middle East. There might be some war-
like manifestation somewhere in the Middle East; possibly Yemen or The
Gulf of Aden. The Sun, Mercury, and Moon are opposing each other on
13N-S latitude and this is right over the Gulf of Aden.

Then we have Saturn and Lilith (the dark moon) in exact opposition to
the conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter. This is a very powerful
configuration. Then we throw Mercury retrograde into the bunch to help
stir things up. Uranus is a wild card and you never know exactly what
it will bring, although whatever it is will be sudden and unexpected.
It's a possibility there could be a solar flare or CME caused by this
configuration. Uranus rules computers, wind, storms, lightening,
electricity, and because it's in Pisces, it rules water and the
oceans. This means there may be more storms in England, France, and
the surrounding areas, and don't forget the US East Coast which
continues to suffer from storms and flooding. This energy could bring
more earthquakes to the South Pacific, Hawaii or Alaska, or somewhere
along the Equator. There could also be a volcanic eruption in the
Pacific Ocean just off the West Coast of the United Stated now, or in
the upcoming months.

I've heard that the New World Order has plans to totally control us
within the next two years. Don't they know that control will not work
in high frequency energy? Don't they know that God (natural law) will
intervene? The planets say freedom is coming. Have you ever tried to
control the planets? I believe there is a higher plan for this Earth
and I believe this plan does not include control, although it might be
a bit turbulent along the way to freedom. Maybe this upcoming full
moon will be a big wake-up call and what appears negative might turn
out to be positive. Time will tell! So Be It! I send you my love.

It's main trick is to make you THINK you are spritual by sending you off on a tangnt......

Why would I get upset Met - I actually dont give a shit, I dont think I am anything never have - there is some relevent astro in there - thats what this thread is about energies - I have never read his work before, I found some good parts in there - most times there's only one or two things that stick after i read something like that. Do you still post at Pup's ?.
