I only had only one OOBE in my life and it was by accident. the only advice I can give you is to not be too much comfortable when attempting an OOBE, otherwise you will fall asleep depending on your level of energy. try a chair or some other kind of not-so-comfortable position that still allows you to relax. |

I posted in another thread about my husband's infirmed grandma who talks like she had an oobe and "goes back there" often. She talked about a silver string on her back and seeing "the little tinker and the little miner" or "the little green guy and the little purple fella" (always a pair) when she goes, and I'm sort of investigating that. I'd like to see if I can have a similar experience. |

My evolutionary path in the dream realm exploded after I read the book, "The Art of Dreaming", by Castaneda. You might want to read his first book or two before reading this one just to get you acquainted with what's going on. So if I woke up in the middle of the night, and didn't have any stressful plans for the next day (not a work day), I'd lie on my back and wait for the transition to take place. It use to be scary at times, but now it's easy. So my point is, find a sleeping position you can't normally fall asleep in, especially after you've already dosed off for a few hours. I've also found that sometimes I wake up in the early morning hours with an upset stomach/intestine. After relief, I go back to bed and have major success in vivid/conscientious dreams. I can only guess it's from the release of toxins in your body, or the lack of energy being used on digestion. We are never apart from each other. We are always a part of each other. Back when GHR (the brother of GHB) was legal and manufactured by legal companies (not out of someones bathtub), I'd jump straight into the deep dream state. It was designed just for that. I evolved immensely with it. But GHR is illegal now. So on occasion I use Melatonin. You can buy it at the grocery store. It's non-addictive (trust me), has no hangover effect, and helps me go that extra step in reaching consciousness in my dreams. The beauty of dreams is that you really can evolve in/with/thru it.
