Typical one-sided nonsense by a global warming activist. The consequences of the warming activists being wrong are also enormous. If they get a carbon tax on everything, and they're wrong, that tax will never go away, will never help anything, and will hurt many people.

The very fact that the warmers have been caught falsifying some of the numbers and using so-called warming to justify collecting huge sums of money with no concrete plan to use it sort of sums up the credibility of the so-called warmers.

The planet has been a lot colder, and a whole lot hotter, in the past. Why should it suddenly become stable?

In the video he's assuming that action will make a difference to warming. Also he risks death when switching on his house lights or crossing the road (assuming of course that he does these activities). It is a small risk but theoretically exists as a probability. So it comes down to probabilities when making any decision. To calculate those probabilities we need access to data that is free from bias, corruption and interference by vested, commercial and political interests. Otherwise those probabilities will not accurately predict reality and invalidate any arguments based on them.

Finally, assuming that your name accurately represents your philosophy you might try applying his arguments to your world outlook. The conclusion could be that a creator god and eternal hell exist as a theoretical risk. This risk could then be used to argue in favour for your conversion to Christianity or Islam by intolerant bigots.

He said different world, dont think he made any assumptions about everybodies way of life not being changed forever.

But yeah i see your point, if its already at runaway level, i guess it gives a different outlook.

He just implied that if right or wrong, there are still big implications.

1. All Climate scientists may be controlled by aliens, as we have all heard lately.

2. If controlled by aliens, then all their data is suspect. So even if it looks correct, we can't trust it, due to alien intervention.

3. The Big oil companies and coal concerns only have the protection of the planet at heart. They can only be our friends, as we are the ones that buy their products.

4. While it is clear that the supposed "climategate" thing was faked by Big Oil concerns, what else are they supposed to do? They have to convince the masses that nothing is going on, so that we can use pollution to damage the planet enough that the aliens cannot live here.

We cannot fight these superior beings using technology, only by producing a large chemical smog screen can be protect ourselves and even that is only temporary!

So stop showing how Climategate was faked and start driving your freaking cars before it is too late to even try and damage the environment in the needed way. Yes, it is a sacrifice, but for the greater good!
