I don't know exactly what 2025 will be but I bet we will look back at 2010 as if it were us looking back at 1950 today.

Sure as hell isn't Star Trek in the utopian sense. But in the star wars universe ww3 starts in 2026 so maybe they were right about that...

V for Vendetta is now. Could go more that route, which would be more 1984ish I guess. Maybe some "fake" wars to make the "rationing" make more sense.

The whole thing really has a XCOM2 vibe to it as well. Especially with this stuff from Stew Peters. Probably crap, but the way people are acting... at what point does an invasion of the body snatchers type of scenario actually seem to be the most plausible explanation?
