Dow will bounce back up tomorrow and close over 10,500 some time this week.

Technically, I don't think it's ready to fall hard (yet). If it struggles for another couple of months in this range, the technicals would become more favorable for that (the shorts would be enboldened)... but it it could also backfire on the shorts, where they'd have to cover.

If we get a long series of bad economic reports over the next 2 or 3 months, then I would be nervous.

I look forward to rebumping this thread in 2 weeks to revel in my triumph.

told the hubby to get out of his last mutual fund yesterday something told me it is time..

got out of the market last year..

hubs 401 k was moverd to treasuries and a money mkt.

i said think about cahing out he said i want to wait on this..we shall see..it is low risk so no biggie..

Ppl have been predicting doom this entire rally.

The Greek bailout is going through this weekend, which will squeeze the Euro shorts and trigger yet another spike in equities and commodities. Just you watch.

If the Euro falls, then the dollar will go up and the markets have to drop to support a higher dollar. that's the only way you'll get market doom. Other parts of the world would have to drop before that happens :)

It bottomed on Feb 5. It'll get to 11K before it cracks 10K again.

It's going to re-test 10,700 at the very least.

Yep. The stock market will be held as long as possible to keep up the appearance that all is normal. If that's what people are watching as an indicator, they are doomed.
