From the first christian iconography you will see Jesus depicted as a young white person with blond hair. This is the typical figure of the Greek God Apollon (Apollo) with whom the pagans that converted to christianity were initially identifying. Apollo and Jesus shared some common facts and both are Solar Gods. Of course this is another sign that christianity replaced the old pagan religion but many practices of the pagan religion remained intact and one of them was iconography.

If you study "spiritualism" you will find numerous photos of items and events down through history, produced during "seances."

Look for a book called "the scole report." There are many photos there. They would have seances, call in spirits and ask them to put images on photographic film, which was locked in a box. The locked box was then taken by two people who were not part of the group and developed. On the film would be many images of people long dead, as well as photos of coins, newspapers, and images of buildinds and places around the world, which no longer existed.
