Melancholia ?????

Because it sucks

Must have been the old 'Melancholia' movie from 2000

The new one is over 2 hours long

Just finished watching it, and suffice to say, if you didn't like it, then you didn't get it.

This is so complex and I'm so high that I can't go into detail, albeit I must allow myself to anti-slander here, to the course of my own self in which i am the soul inhibitor

I liked the one on In Demand for Comcast. Any chance to see Kirstin Dunst nekkid makes it a 5 star movie for me.

However, you CAN watch it now. I rented it on Apple TV for like 9.99 in HD a few weeks back. While I found it interesting, I am a Nibirutard. I think most people would find it dull and slow. And it really only gets good toward the end. In fact, the first scenes were so fracking stupid I had to push myself to keep watching for the doomy parts.

a copy has already been leaked, probably because it is that time of the year (awards - Oscars, etc) - though that would explain someone having a DVD quality bootleg and not airing on TV

I thought it was amazing and multilayered...it requires thought...which I realize could be a problem for many....that was some deep deep stuff...but I agree about the beginning...I FF to dialogue...it was very good movie.

Avoid at all costs..... Cheap, shoddy, boring, and it is a huge waste of time... Meanwhile an afternoon on GLP is enough to awaken anyone's meloncholia. Meaning , to open you up to inner illumination.

No it was Kirsten Dunst and Keiffer Sutherland, etc. It may have been edited a little as there were scenes I saw in the trailers that I didn't see in the 1 1/2 hour version.
Still .... those few scenes wouldn't validate a free showing of movie that has not yet come out in the theaters.

As far as the complexity of the movie ... and not "getting it". It certainly attempted to be intellectual and artsy, but missed horribly.

Most americans will probably think the movie sucked. I honestly can only give it a 3/5.

A little drawn out, not as estoric as I thought it wuold be.

Can some one tell me why it was on satellite prior to it's opening in the first place ???

I heard that satellite companies have been just recently offering new releases as they come out in theaters . Before? Can't say!
Unless someone hacked it in or a tech guy screwewd up and programmed it wrong and to soon. All tv is no longer live... Schedule is pre programmed
