That's really creepy, OP. I remember last year reading dreams people had about such events. People were starving, animals were eaten up, no small children around any more, and everyone was looking for food (canned) dated before a certain time period. I was thinking it was something like this. America is too used to eating well, cannot imagine such a thing as famine here, it will be pure madness.

I figured the rainwater was spreading the radiation around quite effectively. I have personally gotten positive geiger counter readings from rain water in Oklahoma.
