For seceding: Federal government has become an elected dictatorship.
Federal government keeps the country in perpetual wars.
Federal government has turned a Free country into Police State.
Federal government has spent country into bankruptcy.
Federal govt takes nearly all our money and delivers very damn little.


Against: This used to be a hell of a nice country.
It might be an ugly divorce, even though the population has grown apart into at least two polarized divisions. The Blue people really do hate Red people.

There used to be easy free trade and movement between the states, and Balkanized countries would probably slow that down, but the Police State is working to slow it down anyway with Homeland security check points.
