Wonder what the flow rate was when the blow out preventer closed. They evacuate because of the H2S. Which way is the wind blowing and is it coming to the surface thru the sea floor breach. Any storms coming again...? Better start to ask the hard questions guys that live in the area. |

Not sure how the mechanics of it work but if they pump water from the Gulf to cool down the engines and the water is full of oil and plugs up the syatem then maybe the result is that the engine catches on fire. . |

Time is a closed loop, apparently. All new doom is old doom. Well yeah, thousands of nuclear tests so far by countries with psychopathic leaders. Meteor fireballs every day, some deadly (eg.Tunguska- 1908, Valley of Ayalon - 1400BC. Gulf of Mexico being polluted by big oil 24/7 Earth and solar system flying through space past infinite amounts of debris all the time. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9316729 . That's an intriguing theory... No its not. First off he did not read. Its gas and the Cruise ship was not anywhere around that area. Do you think these boats get to sail right up to a platform and say look mommy its a drilling rig. Fuck you people. Engines are not water cooled in those things either. Get your facts straight before you mouth off next time. |

The site reports 15 workers were evacuated from the Ensco 87 rig, which sits in 218 feet of water, after tests found natural gas had migrated from the 8300-foot well to a sand formation approximately 1100 feet below the seabed. This uncontrolled flow happened after a blowout preventer had been activated. Quoting: Paa Tal [link to enenews.com] This is a shitty blowout. They have to go about this totally different now if I understand the bold part right. Could they have exceed the frac gradient? Industry common knowledge below of how they try to handle conventional blowouts. They probably are gonna have to write the book on this one as they go along. [link to petrowiki.org] |

There is no stopping this & it will NOT end well. When BP drilled the Macondo Well they fractured the Louann Salt Layer & destabalized the Methane Hydrate Layer. This dissaster is truly beyond the comprehension of the vast majority of People. This "gas leak", the Macondo Well, the sink hole & the bubble sites around the baou(?sp) are all symptoms of one MAJOR catastrophy slowly unfolding & when it finally goes.......she's going to go BIG! |

Get your facts straight before you mouth off next time. Learn how to read you blithering idiot. I presented it as a theory only and not fact. I plainly stated I did not know the mechanics of it and I suspect neither do you. The Gulf is already saturated with leaked oil. No one knows for sure how bad it is since they decided to put chemicals on it to sink it out of sight. Take your anti-suppressant pills and calm down and hopefully your mother will not make you go to bed early tonight and you can come back here and apologize to me. . . |

Whats the definition of insanity, Oh yeah doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken.
