Quoting: Funds Exhaust 925525"When the level of the trust fund gets to zero, you have to cut benefits," Alan Greenspan, architect of the plan to rescue the Social Security program the last time it got into trouble, in the early 1980s, said on Wednesday. D-day: 2037 not no more. Trouble is coming on very quickly The problem, is that payments have risen more than expected during the downturn, because jobs disappeared and people applied for benefits sooner than they had planned. At the same time, the program's revenues have fallen sharply, because millions of jobs have disappeared, leaving fewer paychecks to tax. [link to wp.me] read the rest |

That alone is going to be hard to fund considering the government has looted those funds for 50 years. The real insanity came from Bill Clinton who agreed to pay illegals Mexicans and even send the checks down to mexico. Then you have 35 million illegal mexicans, probably many more than what the government admits too, that get paid and do not pay income tax or into the SS program. But the biggest scam draining the system is SSDI. People under 62 years of age that somehow got Social Security Disability and are draining the system. The funny thing is the numbers on SSDI seem to be top secret. I did some google searches and can't find a thing. I can understand why. If the people knew how many people are on SSDI compared to regular SS then they would be shocked. I'll bet there are more people on SSDI milking the system than there are people on regular SS. . |

C-SPAN host Steve Scully broke from a meek Washington press corps with probing questions for the new president. SCULLY: You know the numbers, $1.7 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money? OBAMA: Well, we are out of money now. We are operating in deep deficits "The figure Walker cites includes future payments that government entitlement programs would have to pay, including $32 trillion owed by Medicare." If government hadn't already spent the money on everything else, there would be PLENTY in the SS Trust Fund. It is already at 50% of what it should be. Instead of giving 400 million more to GAZA or billions more to the banks and bushes, how about the government just make good on its original promises to those who kept them in business for so many years? Oh, that's right, it isn't the REAL government. It is a fake, now 'bossed' by a foreign usurper. I think it is time we did our constitutional duty and removed the bastards! |
