From Mycaenean Proto-Greeks to Ancient-Greeks, to the latin-Romans, to the Greco-Romans, to the Byzantines...Todays Greeks inherit this heritage in wholly consistant, backwards-compatible fashion.

From the very first-Greeks to the Greeks of today, the Macedonian name and Identity remain integral to them, belonging to this collective and not outside of it.

FYRoM's ex-Yugoslavs claiming to be Macedonians in name and Identity rubbishes this notion and severs the thread of continuity that binds Greeks from across the historical time continuum. For there was never a period of history the Macedonians were not Greeks, if you follow me.

So when did South-Slavs become Macedonians without the Greeks knowing about it?

It can be likened to one finding out that he has numerous long lost relatives he knew nothing about until now, half-brothers and sisters from a different race...but when did this happen ???

The point is, it never happened. The Greek way of seeing it
is not the way FYRoM's South-Slavs see it. They see it much differently.

Macedonians in the FYRoM view were not Greeks or remotely related to Greeks but a different race, akin to Serbians and Bulgarians. Macedonians in the FYRoM view were Proto-Slavs, speaking the Macedonian-language the peoples of FYRoM speak today. Greeks, in the FYRoM view were always the enemy.

Greeks live next to primitive lowly educated peoples, right!

FYRoM's ex-Yugoslavs believe they speak Macedonian, the same language Alexander the Great spoke during antiquity, that is why it is called Macedonian-language. They also believe they live in Macedonia, the same place where Alexander the Great and his father King Philip lived. They believe whole-heartedly that they are Macedonians, on the basis, they feel like Macedonian, they live in Macedonia and they speak the Macedonian-language.

Now who is going to explain to them, the peoples of FYRoM, the error of their view-point.
