[link to www.genevabible.org.] Yeah. I don't like that the KJV uses the word "Easter." I think it's daunting, but not terrible. The KJV, although a very good translation, has a few errors here and there. But overall, the KJV is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Bibles ever published for the English speaking world. Who wants to read thees and thous that add literally no value, and simply slow the reading and learning process. I'm glad the OP seems active in this thread and I'd like to see what he/she thinks on this. Full Disclosure: Raised southern baptist and I think we used the NIV. Went to Christian Brothers University and studied the bible there using NOAB. Don't go to church now. :) My faith is secure and has little to do with J.C. or institutions. No way. I share a witness of Heaven come to earth. This miraculous story will make you smile. Witness to St. Faustina Knowalska’s Presence at the Deathbed of My Sister. As experienced by Leonard L. "Barry" Lyons IV of Germantown, Maryland On Friday, February 9, 2007, I was called unexpectedly to the bedside of my 58 yr-old sister Cary who was dying of Hepatitis C in Kingman, Arizona. Her doctor told me her time “was short”. When I first saw her on Saturday, she was on a ventilator and was nothing but skin and bones. After I recovered from the initial shock of her physical being, I sat down next to her and said the Divine Mercy Chaplet. In fact, I recited the Chaplet multiple times that day. (I remembered the promise of our Lord to St. Faustina about praying for a dying person; no matter their sins, He would stand between that person and God the Father when it was time for judgment.) Upon seeing my sister I became quite sad and had a difficult time keeping my composure. Nevertheless, I just kept praying the Chaplet. I called the local Catholic Church and requested the Anointing of the Sick. On Sunday, February 11, I was tired of being sad and I went outside the hospital and asked the Lord to give me His peace and joy. I prayed the Chaplet and a Rosary. Then I felt His peace and abounding joy. I could not stop smiling. Around 3:30 that afternoon, Cary's breathing tube was removed; death was almost certain, or so we thought. All the while, I stood there with a big smile on my face. I was at peace that she would be with the Lord. Now understand, my sister always believed in "The Christ Light" and knew that Christ was the center of the universe, but she did not quite understand the relationship of Christ as her Savior. She worshiped Christ via Native American ceremonies. She was not a "traditional" churchgoer, but she did believe in "The Christ Light." She became more alert and could communicate with us saying "yes" and "no" to questions we asked. She could eat some soft food. We knew that this was temporary and it lasted until Tuesday night. On Tuesday night, February 13, Cary slipped into a comatose state. She was breathing hard and her eyes were half open. There were friends in the room along with Cary's daughter and myself. Twice during the day, I stood over her bed with my arms held open and prayed the Chaplet. Once, while in the middle of the Chaplet, I started speaking in tongues. (I've only had this happen to me a few times before in my life.) I could feel God's Spirit within me. I have no idea what I was saying; it just came out. I tried to get back to the Chaplet but the Spirit just took over and a language I have no knowledge of or recognized came out of my mouth. I just went with it and let it flow. It stopped after a few minutes and I sat down. I held Cary's hand, bowed my head and kept praying the Chaplet. On Wednesday, February 14, I woke up and had this incredible urge to find the local Catholic Church and pray before the Holy Eucharist. I don't know why; it was just a strong urge from deep within; it was something I had to do. I stopped by the hospital to check on my sister and then went to find the local Catholic Church. I had no directions to the church but I drove to St. Mary's Church on Spring Street in old Kingman as if I was led to it. Understand, I had never been to Kingman in my life and had never been to this church. I parked in front of the church which was locked. Actually there were two churches; an historical one that was very small and a larger, newer one. Both churches were locked. I went to the Parish Center across the street, and a sweet lady named Mary came to the door. I explained my situation and asked for a key to pray before the Tabernacle. She asked if I wanted to go into the old church or the new; something inside me told me to ask for the key to the new church. Once inside the new church, I understood why I "wanted" to pray inside the new church; to the left of the Tabernacle was a Divine Mercy picture. I knelt under the picture and prayed for my sister, repeating the Chaplet. Then I had this urge to go right before the Tabernacle and pray. I knelt and asked St. Faustina to come down and pray for my sister at her bedside. I then went over to a statue of the Blessed Mother and said a Rosary on behalf of my sister. I lit a candle and left the church That night, I took my place by Cary’s bed, held her hand and prayed. Then I just sat there looking at her. At 9:30 I bowed my head again to pray and this is what I saw: At the foot of Cary's bed on the floor was St. Faustina on her knees praying the Chaplet. Her head was bowed down and she prayed deeply. Off in the distance was the Blessed Mother watching with loving, compassionate eyes. However, she was far away and looked to be only two inches tall because she was so far away. Standing next to St. Faustina was Cary's husband, who had died four years ago. He was young, about 33. (I had never seen him young as Cary married him when he was much, much older, but I recognized him immediately). Standing on the other side of the bed were my mother and father (my mother died in 1998, my father died in 2003). They were young, about 30 or so. They were smiling. Behind them were other people, but I could not recognize them. Then, to the right of St. Faustina appeared three very old, wise looking men in gray robes. I asked who they were and was told that they were Cary's guardian angels. Then a rather heavyset man, short and round in a gray robe was standing behind St. Faustina. He had a round face with deep smile lines. He had a burgundy rope tied around his waste and he had a monk haircut. He was so happy. His smile was huge. He just stood there smiling while St. Faustina prayed. I looked up at the Blessed Mother and asked why she wasn't coming down and praying and the Blessed Mother just kept staring at St. Faustina. Suddenly, below Cary's bed a black cloud arose. It was the length of the bed. In the cloud were horrid long arms and hands. The hands had long sharp finger nails and they were grabbing at the bed trying to get to Cary. There was hissing and horrible sounds coming from the black cloud. All the while St. Faustina kept praying. St. Faustina never looked up; she just kept her head bowed and prayed. Then from the upper left ceiling of the room came a white cloud. It encircled the room. It swirled around the top of the room and then enveloped the whole room. As it came down against the black cloud, it pushed the black cloud down until it disappeared below the floor and the room was filled with the white cloud. The white cloud rested in the room and just stayed there. Then two angels appeared over Cary on each side of her head as if just resting above her shoulders. The angles were beyond beautiful. They were dazzling white, a white "clean" and pure no words can explain. The angels had huge feathered wings. They smiled and looked at Cary with very loving eyes. They sat there as if to say, "We are here to protect you Cary, fear not." After the angels appeared, St. Faustina stood up, smiled and then faded away. As she left, the Blessed Mother came into the room from above and stood at the end of Cary's bed. I asked the Blessed Mother why she didn't come down and pray for Cary. The Blessed Mother told me that I had asked for St. Faustina to come and pray and that she (the Blessed Mother) did not want to get in the way; St. Faustina was doing her "job." (of which The Blessed Mother said that St. Faustina did well.) Then the Blessed Mother turned and invited many people into the room. I did not recognize them. I did see a very, very old man who was quite tall. I asked who he was and the Blessed Mother said he was an "ancient" from long ago who was from our family. While this was going on, I looked up to my left and far away was God the Father sitting on a large throne with angels on each side, looking down at everything going on in the room. He was holding a long staff (scepter I believe) and in the center of His chest was a Golden Heart that looked to be on fire and had rays of white and gold light streaming from it. I was told that the White Cloud that came into the room was the Holy Spirit and that it came directly from God the Father's Heart. In fact, He showed it to me, that is, the cloud coming out of His Heart. He said that is where the Holy Spirit comes from, His Heart. Standing on the left side of God was Jesus. Jesus had a big smile on his face. In fact, coming out of every pour of Jesus' body was light, and the light was filled with joy. Joy was just gushing out of His body. I couldn't believe how much Joy was streaming out from Jesus, and His smile. He has the smile of a little child; it is perfect. Moreover, His eyes say, "I love you and I want you to share my joy!" He just smiled and smiled. I turned and looked at my parents and saw a very handsome tall man about 30 years old standing behind my parents. I asked who that was and they said it was my younger brother who died before he was born. He looked like my dad and my grandson, Jacob Lyons, combined. He was very handsome and had black wavy hair. The room became filled with people, too numerous to count. The Blessed Mother then left and the monk took her place at the end of the bed. I looked up to the left in the "sky" and saw the Blessed Mother standing to the right of God the Father and Jesus to His left. The Blessed Mother was looking at us. Her eyes are beautiful beyond description and her gaze is one of total, unfathomable compassion; a gaze that only a mother can have for her children. There was so much love and comfort in her eyes! Oh, she loves us so much; words cannot describe her love for us! Then I looked over at God the Father. He was neither smiling nor frowning. He just sat there will all the wisdom of the ages in His face. A look that said, "I know all, I am all, I am in charge, rest in my wisdom." Then on his left was Jesus. Now I know this is going to sound absolutely crazy (as if this whole writing doesn't sound crazy) but Jesus was standing there with this incredible smile; this big, goofy, loving, child-like smile. It's as if His smile is saying, "Love like a child, trust like a child, smile like a child; don't worry about a thing, my Father's got everything under control." And like I said before, perfect joy emanates from Jesus. He is so happy; He just wants to share His Joy with us. You can't imagine how much He loves us; human words can't describe it. The best way I can describe it is this: I have a three-year-old grandson. I just love hugging him. I can't hug him enough. And he loves to be hugged and held. Jesus wants to hug us and be with us just like I love being with my grandson. An hour now passed and I opened my eyes. My uncle and cousin were in the room and they said I had been "looking" all about with my eyes closed. They asked what I "saw." I told them. They were astounded; and I was exhausted. I said I had to go to the hotel and get some sleep. But then the nurse came in and said they were going to increase the morphine and that I may want to stick around as Cary's time could be soon. So Nohl, Cary's daughter and I stayed the evening. By 6:00 AM I had to go back to the hotel and get some rest. Cary was still alive. It was now Thursday, February 15. I slept until late morning and then returned to the hospital. I sat next to Cary and held her hand. I closed my eyes and now saw a translucent "orb" around Cary, as if to protect her. Above the orb over her at each shoulder were the beautiful angels. When I held Cary's hand, I was in the orb and protected too. It felt "warm." Peace was all about. My parents were still there along with Cary's husband and many other people (in spirit form). I stayed and just sat there all afternoon. I didn't pray, I just sat there periodically telling Cary I loved her and that everything would be fine. That evening I finally went to dinner at 9:00 PM. My uncle, cousin and Cary's daughter, Nohl, stayed in the room. Cary's breathing was now very shallow and her skin had turned a strange yellow-gray color. The inside of her mouth was black. It was most clear that her passing was imminent. I went to dinner and my plan was to go back to the hotel for some rest. At the end of dinner at 10:00 pm, I bowed my head to say a short prayer of thanksgiving, when I heard my sister, clear as a bell, say to me, "Come back, I'm not going until you are here." I drove back to the hospital and arrived at her bedside at 10:13 pm. Cary died at 10:28. As she was taking her last breath, I closed my eyes and saw her "jump" out of her body and everyone (spirits) in the room disappeared, instantly. The room became cold and it was truly empty. It took the resident doctor about 30 minutes to come up from ER and confirmed she was dead. I left the hospital, joyful that my sister was now with the Lord and that I could get some rest. Upon laying my head on the pillow, I closed my eyes only to see the following: My sister was sanding before the Lord. He had this big huge smile on His face and His arms were open. Standing behind my sister were my parents, her husband, her three guardian angels and a host of others. Jesus said to my sister, "You see, I am the Christ Light you have always looked for and here I am." It was almost as if He said, "Duh, it's Me!" He was smiling and laughing. Before Cary hugged Him, she turned to me and said, "Thank you for having St. Faustina come down and pray for me." Then she turned and hugged the Lord and the vision faded out. I could feel the joy and peace. I couldn't stop smiling. I knew without any reservation whatsoever that my sister was with the Lord and that St. Faustina had interceded on her behalf when she was dying. I attest that this is what I experienced and saw commencing Saturday, February 10 and ending the evening of Thursday, February 15, 2007, in Kingman, Arizona. This was written on March 16, 2007, at the request of multiple people who said I should record these events. Post Script: My late sister had a very close friend named Dennis. Dennis, during the Viet Nam war, actually died and was in a body bag. Upon his death, he met the Lord Jesus. The Lord explained to Dennis that Dennis' work on earth was not completed yet and would he go back. Dennis said "yes" as long as he could come back to Jesus when Dennis' job on earth was completed and Jesus said yes. He came back in the body bag and scared the people about to load the bag on a transport. Now fast forward to Wed, Feb 14, 2007. Dennis, who lived 50 miles away from the hospital where my sister was in, told me on Thursday morning, Feb 15, that he too saw what I saw in Cary's room the night before. He described St. Faustina, but had no idea who she was (Dennis is not Catholic). He saw all the same people in the room, including the smiling Monk. When I mentioned the black cloud and hands to him, Dennis said that he saw it too and that the hands and black cloud were Cary's fears manifesting themselves. He explained that our fears can bring evil and actually bring us into an evil place. Cary was extremely fearful of dying and was fighting it. Her fear, according to Dennis, was manifesting itself. She was also not sure of who Jesus truly was/is and was very afraid of what was on the other side. |

And it's hypocritical, the ac's (anti-Catholics) on the forum make a point to post and repost about the homosexual scandal in the priesthood but they love the KJV. Why? Everyone knows King James was homosexual. Satan attacks the priesthood, he believes in the spiritual power of the priesthood and he knows the Holy Mass saves the world. Read the Douay-Rheims Bible now, it will help you to prepare for the Great Warning. www.drbo.org The ROMAN "universal church" is a sun worshipping blood cult, an exact duplicate of the Isis/Astarte/Tammuz/Mithra religon that Constantine believed in when he declared "christianity" (a made-up word by the rcc) to be the State religion. All the holidays are pagan babylonian mystery holidays of sacrifice of humans; all the priests and nuns are patterned after the babylonian priests and nuns, and the idea that the pope is g.o.d. on earth, is exactly what the high priest of babylonian mystery religion was. Why do you think the vatican has all the statutes of the pagan g.o.d.s. (Mithra, Jupiter, Isis) enshrined in it's enclave?? Because THAT IS WHO THEY REALLY WORSHIP! NOT TO MENTION THAT THE POPE CHANGED THE 10 COMMANDMENTS AND THE SABBATH DAY SO THAT THEY COULD CONTINUE TO WORSHIP THE S.U.N. ON "his" day...s.u.n.d.a.y....... COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE....MYSTERY BABYLON, THE HARLOT! |
