Union Boss Vomits at WH Meeting With Obama.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka got sick during a meeting at the White House Friday, forcing him to return to the labor group's headquarters.

Trumka lost his lunch just before a meeting of the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board, on which he sits. The board is comprised of outside officials.

The labor group decided to make light of the incident.

"While President Trumka is sick of big banks fighting Wall Street reform this was in no way related to that," AFL-CIO spokesman Eddie Vale cracked. "He just had a stomach bug and is now resting so he can get ready for his next fight."

Fortunately for Trumka, the AFL-CIO's offices are just blocks from the White House.

This isn't the first time a vomiting incident has involved the commander-in-chief. In 1992 President George H.W. Bush vomited into the lap of Japanese Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa at a state dinner in the Asian country.
