Federal Reserve Notes are Monopoly Money - PLEASE READ
A rather disturbing thought has been brewing in my head the last few days. If I was to write it in a concise manner perhaps I will be able to truly understand it.

Frankly we all know that the Federal Reserve prints money and that the gold standard was removed in 1973. The bankers are essentially printing dollars out of their home printers and sending them out into the world.

The most important thing in people lives are….Family? Love? Their favorite sports team? Whatever people think is the most important thing in their life is usually not the case. It is best to judge a person by their behavior and not by their thoughts and what they say. People spend the majority of their lives chasing MONEY.

Now let me get this straight: people spend the majority of their existence working a job they don’t like to receive something that a bank prints with no actual value validating it.

Take a step back for a second and look at this holistically. People are literally wasting their lives chasing monopoly money. The only reason they don’t print their own monopoly money is because the original printers will come down on them. They’ll assault you, throw you in jail, and/or fine you their monopoly money that you are not allowed to print yourself.

(As I write this I realize Monopoly Money is a perfect term to call Federal Reserve notes. Not just because their notes and Milton Bradley’s currency are both backed by nothing but because the Federal Reserve holds a monopoly over who can print money.)

I think next time I go out I will try to use a monopoly dollar to get change. Why not right?

I struggle with asking myself why do I need spend my entire life playing their Monopoly game? Why don’t I play my own game with my own rules?

I understand now why the founding fathers we’re so opposed to central banks. Before they were instituted each individual State could set the rules of their own games. They could print their own currencies and have control over what would back each note. They decided how many new notes would (or wouldn’t) be added into circulation each year, and whether each note would be debt free or not.

I don’t know about you but I’m already tired of going around their board for eternity.

It's hard to come to grips with the truth when you finally find it... and finding solutions is even harder.

Good luck OP, hang in there, and good post.
You shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall set you free.

Obviously it's not "new" since the Fed was created in 1913 and we got off the gold standard in '73. I'm hoping that i've framed this in such a way that people who already awake can be more persuasive to the listener when arguing against the Fed. Secondly, just maybe, people read this post and self reflected on what their own life priorities should really be.

The Federal reserve is not a government entity but a private entity.

JFK and the federal reserve:
JFK created interest-free government money, backed up by the silver reserve, contrary to that of the private Federal Reserve. JFK wanted to pay off the US debt.

JFKs interest-free money was taken out of circulation, right after his assassination.

JFKs brave attempt to abolish the private Federal reserve was Executive Order, # 11110, signed in June of 1963.
As all know by now, JFK was assassinated Nov. 22, 1963.

Get a lot of land(may have to pay money for it to begin) then just raise animals and grow food. Use guns to keep trespassers off. use holistic cures, don't pay for health ins. Thats the only way out. Allthough they will come after you for property taxes

I would love to do this!

But it's not a viable option right now. The land doesn't matter since the federal government can take your land their eminent domain. Thanks to the healthcare "reform" it's illegal to not have HC ins. and you will go to jail for it. Also good point about the property taxes. Through property taxes you're basically just renting the land from the state.

I would love to find a nice plot of land and sacrifice my trinkets but we need to secure our liberty and freedom first.

Money can be any accepted form of exchange of value. Our time has value, as does food. The money that we use to facilitate conversion of our time into food is the fiat that our govt prints and condones.

Most people do not work to attain money as their end goal, but to attain the goods or even the security that money can be 'traded' for.

The problem is that the value of money is not controlled by free market forces. Instead, the value is manipulated (when the govt expands or contracts the supply), and when some is removed (stolen) by taxation. There would be little objection to an entity (govt) taking an agreed upon amount to perform services (roads, court system etc) IF those services were effecient and necessary (that's not saying that only a govt COULD provide them).

Another problem is, fiat, manipulated currency will always fail, it will always end in economic collapse. That is the message to spread.

Thanks for the post

You're gonna love this (a financial expert just clued me into this info about gold-backed dollars existed for foreign investors from 1933-1971 earlier this week):

Roosevelt's 1933 gold ban only applied to American citizens.

From 1933 to 1971 foreign investors holding US dollars could still freely exchange them for gold at the US Treasury at any time. This was the Age of Partial Gold, when the US dollar was not backed by gold internally domestically but from a foreign perspective it was (upon demand). Under the pre-1933 full Gold Standard, the US government and later the Fed couldn’t print money unless it had the gold to back it, so the US money supply grew very slowly and general prices remained stable.

After 1933, a crucial component of Fed discipline was removed so the supply of US dollars started growing significantly faster than the US economy leading to inflation, a rise in general prices. Still though, since foreign governments could still demand real gold for their dollars at any time, the supply of freshly printed dollars to “pay for” government largesse and endless foreign wars remained somewhat limited.

Then Vietnam happened, yet another unconstitutional foreign war waged in a far-off Third World country. The combination of the huge costs of a long foreign guerilla war Lyndon Johnson’s massive Welfare State expansion “Great Society” programs literally broke the bank. Together they required unthinkably huge numbers of paper, or fiat, dollars to be printed out of thin air to “pay” for both guns and butter. Not even nation states can have it all!

It didn’t take long for foreign investors and governments to recognize this inflationary threat to the value of their dollar holdings so they started demanding gold for their paper. At the intense rate gold was hemorrhaging, soon the US wouldn’t have any gold left as it flew out of the Treasury fleeing the Fed’s monstrous monetary inflation. In 1971 Richard Nixon totally severed the dollar’s link to gold. After his decree, not even foreign governments could exchange their dollars for gold.
