ROFL, OP, I feel for you! The problem I had, was location. Living too close to a AM broadcasting station! I didn't need a radio. The broadcast came over the phone, stereo speakers and laptop speakers. All you can do is shield the equipment. Talk to a tech at Radio Shack or HAM radio operator, call the FCC or the offending station. By law, if they are causing interference, the have to do everything reasonable to stop the interference. I just moved out of the apartment complex. Good Luck!  Wrong. On the back of almost every electronic device is a disclaimer that states it must accept any interference but not create it. Radio stations come over barb wire fences in some locations. I'm afraid the FCC will tell you it is your responsibility to pay for the fix, since the radio station is licensed to broadcast in a certain pattern and power range.
