Johny777 User ID: 985749 Poland 05/29/2010 03:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Poland was able to fight and win a military victiories over enemy who definitely outnumbered Polish forces and was theoretically stronger , but of course it wasn't in off to protect the country. The main reason of Polish problems is blind trusting the West and lack of cooperation with Russia to protect human rights and democracy in that country. Battle of 1920 was in fact the chance for Poland to be grate and very helpful ally for antitotalitarian Russian forces, but Poles turned their back on Russians which strongly contributed to Stalin being in power in Soviet Union. The results of Stalin's rules are the common knowledge. In my opinion the most strange and absurd move in Polish politics was Polish - Prussian alliance 1790 y. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 648659there is a move in history that is talking about them being the people of the sea, from the other hand that could be also Russians or Mongolian ppl, romans aren't ancestors not for germanian ppl, nor slavic tribes as they traded with them a lot, mostly glass on the famous amber road [link to en.wikipedia.org] that is actually still there after so many years (roman craftmanship) i may mixed up some of those info, as i was learning that 5 years ago |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 868423No this is a fable that was created by a newsman of the time, an Italian I believe. It never happened. Disinfo at its best. The winged hussars are from a earlier period of Polish history. |

Nice! Thanks OP. If you have not made peace with the self, if you do not live in peace self-sustainably in your being, then what do you have to offer to another? How then can peace come to be for the world, if you are not willing to seek it within? -Eliakim |

I thought it was very well done, informative, and interesting. Good job! I would like to learn more about Poland, especially the Poland of today, since my ethnic "roots" are from your area. My mother's parents were from Poland and my father's were from the Polish town of Zalewo (this town used to be named Saalfeld when the area was called East Prussia). Please share more about your country with us. Be proud of your herritage!!! |
