Well, sort of. The euro is backed with 15% gold reserves. Of coarse they probably don't have the gold reserves to even come close to 15%. I'm sure that the gold backing the euro consists of "paper" gold, in other words another form of fiat currency. Must be hard to keep the lie alive.

Well yes, Spain. I read somewhere that Spain would need around $500bn compare to the 130 that Greece needed. In essence that means that the EU couldn't bail out Spain like they did with Greece. So they fired up the money presses, that's the "holy shit we have no idea what to do so let's BUY some time" Sadly, it's on the peoples expenses because this will cause inflation in the long run, I'll try to find out by what amount they just expanded they money base a lil later.

Oh and by the way, this is fascism once again, they are bailing out the speculative finance industry, and thus, this will only FUEL speculation, because now the "Wolf Pack" that they claim to be fending off will know that there is an infinite amount of money to be stolen on the taxpayers backs.
