Customer at Wendys tries to tase employees over mustard and mayo
She is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Hey, I thought those things weren't deadly? Isn't that the defense of police departments all over the country for using them? Aren't people who die from being tased just "coincidences"?

And who goes nuts over CONDIMENTS? Seriously?

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A drive-thru customer at a Daytona Beach Wendy's restaurant chased employees with a stun gun after not get the packets of condiments she wanted, police said. The woman became irate Monday morning at the Wendy's on LPGA Boulevard.

Two women, 23-year-old Katrina Bryant and 21-year-old Melanese Reid, were arrested when police found them driving down the road less than one mile from the restaurant.

Employees told WFTV the whole incident started with some yelling about condiments. It took a turn for the worst when one of the women allegedly came in brandishing a stun gun.

Wendy's employees scattered when the woman, upset about what she didn't get at the drive-thru, rushed in firing the stun gun.

"She walked in with a taser and she was like pressing it, ‘Zz, zz, zz!’ And then she walked in Wendy’s, came in the back and tried to tase Jason. It was crazy," employee Malcolm Nelson described.

Reid was upset, employees said, because she didn't get the mayonnaise and mustard packets she asked for and doubly upset at what she perceived to be a dirty look from an employee.

"It was just a bunch of foul language, f-you, f-this, that kind of situation. We're all like, ‘Back off, get out of here!’ Then they reached in, started slapping people." Nelson said.

Employees said when they saw Reid reach back into her car and grab something black, most of them ran.

"I went out the back door, the security door, and ran to 7-Eleven. They let me borrow a cell phone and I called in a description, 'cause I didn't know if it was a gun or not," employee Rob Vanchough said.

Back inside, employees said the woman ran behind the counter, chasing one worker, before eventually giving up, jumping back into her car and driving away.

"Nobody got tased, but he was going to get tased if he didn't run all the way back," Nelson said.

The two women were arrested and are facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon and principle to assault.

i know a dude who would do something like that. he expects
100% perfection from his drive-thru experience. one time,
when a filet o fish was not prepared to his liking (he checked
it right there at the window) he threw it back through the
closing drive thru window where it struck an employee haha.
they called the cops and he got some kind of ticket. rofl

Hmmm. interesting. They called it "assault with a deadly weapon"

I thought tazers were "less than lethal"

I guess it depends on who's using them.

Yeah, but if a cop tases someone with a broken back 50 times it was "natural causes".

This country is so screwed- if it weren't so sad I'd be lmao. I can still kind of see the humor. Our leaders sell us out at every turn while they live like royalty and they don't care but GOD FORBID a minimum wage worker gives them the wrong condiment for their dollar menu, deep fried, genetically modified pseudo-food.

Take notice people...as funny as this may be...this DOES set a legal precedent.

It IS considered a deadly weapon by the courts now.

Re: Customer at Wendys tries to tase employees over mustard and mayo
I was actually thinking of buying a stun gun for a family member as they are legal in Nevada. For some that are scared of carrying a loaded weapon, this would be an alternative.

Hmm...maybe get one for myself.
