Of course they could build some labor camps and make any 2nd time violators serve a year or two of hard labor on a chain gang.

A chain gang? lol Employers will have top priority...

Oh shit!, that's exactly the situation now. HAHAHA

ADC INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY & COMMITTED POPULATION, December 31, 2009

Arizona State Prison. Contracted In-State Private Prisons. Provisional Contracted Out-of-State Private Prisons and AZ County Jails.

TOTALS....
Total operating capacity 41,426
Total inmate population 40,544

[link to www.azcorrections.gov]

Less than 1000 beds to enforce the law by themselves.

You're doing a lot of wishful thinking.

They'll build, just like I said on another thread.

Hey it's original research. The governor's office makes it hard to find. It is YOU that is wishful thinking. I am stating facts.

Based on the facts the governor is bullshitting saying they'll implement the law in August, without the feds cooperation.

They may have a 'plan', a desperate one they must have been drawn up last night. But they'll need $$$ for that. And she cant soak the taxpayers until after her supposed re election,,, by then Obama will have already signed the new immigration reform law...

Shit are you kidding me. With the money they save from not having to pay for all the social programs for illegals they can afford to buy a couple tents and some chain and hey you got a mobile chain gang who now works for the state. If you don't wanna get your ass thrown in jail then I suggest all those illegals head for the border from where they came.

Lets see if those illegals are laughing after about a year on a chain gang. They will NEVER wanna come back as an illegal alien. Legal immigration is available.

It will get done here in Texas but not until after the elections in November. Perry's not dumb, he's not going to rile up the hispanic vote until his ass is secured for his last couple of years.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 685586

Perry has already said he's not signing any such thing.(

I see we have all the brilliant minds of GLP desperately trying to figure out what the governor should do. Nothing is based on reality. Just wishful thinking: chain gangs, labor camps, catapults(???!!!)..

Total and absolute bullshit.

Some people in Arkansas are trying to get petition signatures, but that is about it. I don't see it standing much of a chance here with Tyson, etc.

You want those jobs at Tyson to go to legal immigrants or citizens then call and turn in every employer that has illegal aliens working for them. ICE has made multiple arrests of hundreds of workers at Tyson before. Keep the pressure on them.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 977284

Here is the reality. Americans are spoiled shitless. They won't work in a Tyson meat packing plant. It is too fucking nasty, dangerous, degrading, and don't pay shit. Most average folks couldn't last a week in a place like that.

There are a lot of whiners both legal and illegal that we need to do something about. I pay 35K taxes a year and have to put up with Americans who would rather collect unemployment benefits than accept the chance to contribute to society. I hope these useless eaters leave along with all the Mexican illegals.

Why eat meat anyways? Read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

You might not eat meat anymore after reading this book.

You are dreaming in color. It's over. The advocates of fighting the feds by way of the State legislatures (who is that?), have received a major blow in the gut and are down for the count. Obama has a clear path to passing an immigration reform law, and there is nothing to stop him except a minority of naked and exposed Republican lawmakers...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 976830

I don't see that clear path to passing anything. Do you think this public uprising is going to make legislators eager to get in the way of it? Maybe some of them even try to represent their constituents.

And Bob Graham is too scared after being outed, to push it as he was doing before.

The public uprising? Come on. Next week we'll be back to bashing muslims. The manufactured 'public' is so compromised being led by their noses, having an attention span of a 3 year olds...

You really cant see it, can you?, how superficial and transitory it all is. Being outside the belly of the beast has its advantages..

Either Calderon, Gloria Estefan, Shakira or Pelosi.

Take your pick.

I'd pick Shakira.
