The Roman Catholic Church-State is the Antichrist (the Little Horn); the pope is the head of that system ("eyes like a man") and he is the 'Son of Perdition' and 'the man of sin'.
Every single one of the Protestant Reformers positively identified Rome as the Antichrist. EVERY SINGLE ONE!

This was the reason for the 'Counter Reformation' and the invention of the Futerist and Preterist theologies by Roman Catholic Jesuit Priests during the Council of Trent...

The Preterist myth (invented by Luis De Alcazar c.1600), teaches that all the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation were fulfilled in the past and that the Antichrist was Nero.

The Futurist myth (invented by Francisco Ribera c.1590), teaches that all the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation will not come into play until a fictitious 7-year reign of a fictitious one-man Antichrist at the end of time. This is where the lie of the 'secret rapture' originated, as well as the myth of a 7-year peace treaty that would be broken; the entire theology is completely non-Biblical and is based on the blasphemous twisting of one verse of the Bible (Daniel 9:27).

These two doctrines were invented to hide the Vatican as the true Antichrist by pushing the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation either far into the past (Preterism) or far into the future (Futurism).
However, millions upon millions of people, who finally had access to the Bible because of the newly invented printing press, were in universal agreement that the Catholic Church was the real Antichrist (little horn) of the Bible.

Because most of the world rejected Preterism and Futurism as lies, the Vatican had no choice but to wage war on the saints and murder over 100 million Christians that were deemed 'heretics' for not following Catholic law and tradition. Most "Protestant" churches of today no longer keep the beliefs of the Protestant reformers; they are far more Catholic than Protestant.
Why? Because the Vatican killed everyone who opposed their false doctrines.

Anyone who reads the Bible can clearly see that the Antichrist is the Roman church-state. The identifiers and characteristics are obvious and unavoidable; so much so that the Catholic church was falling apart as millions upon millions of people were leaving it once they read the Bible for themselves and no longer had to take the word of the Vatican.
