The problem in the US is that the middle class has not truly suffered enough to break them out of their media induced brainwashed state, but it is only a matter of time. Look at the beta test of Hurricane Katrina and it took what a couple of days before segments of the society totally degenerated. Imagine if the average American had to live like the Palestinians for a couple of days and see if their perspective may change.

We are a neutral country so all the war mongers can stop thinking along those lines. We have a defence force not a standing army. A well trained, well equipped defence force for the defence of the state. We have no Imperial ambitions we opposed an Empire for long enough to know how corrupt and evil occupying free people and their land is.

Expulsion of Israeli Diplomats would be the action taken and an end to trade agreements. Also we might be a small country but we have clout in the UN and in most of the Islamic world. We have long been a supporter of the Palestinian people as what Israel is doing to them is exactly the same as what Cromwell did here.

Israel will not Kill an Irish Citizen especially now after the passport debacle. They will only kill muslims. That is why only muslims died. Calculated is what the Israeli Government is they are not Fools.

The problem with that logic is America is not that strong anymore. Without the use of Turkey as a staging base we would be significantly weakened in the region. Remember at the start of the invasion of Iraq when the US was enraged because Turkey would not all the US to use their country as a base for launching their northern ground invasion. Also, Turkey is a Nato ally which puts the US in a position to choose a side that they can not afford to do at this point. Of course the US could go nuclear, but there would be nothing left to fight for if it ever got to that point.
