John Donson User ID: 892700 United States 06/02/2010 08:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | CNBC just had Daniel Weiss on, who is the head Climatologist researcher for the Center for American Progress, which is headed by John Podesta. Quoting: The Monk 936918He says that if a category 2 or 3 Hurricane comes ashore through the gulf, the oil will have a good chance of turning the landfall areas into our Chernobyl. He said there would be dead zones where nobody could go, breathing problems, cancer, etc. The hosts and another talking head went apeshit, saying it was pure speculation....but this Weiss guy was reved up saying this is a nightmare. Get ready folks.... Video should be at CNBC soon....I will post when up Crude oil is pretty toxic stuff to the environment on the planet's surface. A hurricane could contaminate water supplies, fields could be made useless for farming, ground water poisoned, not good. All that oil would get swept up and sprayed all over the countryside. Nice. So what you're saying is that this is a race between BP and Monsanto to kill us with poisoned fields? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 990491 United States 06/02/2010 08:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | its still speculation, some climate sciecetist say a hurriance would be good, breaking the oil up more. Others say its the worst possible nightmare scenario not long to wait, season started yesterday, we will know in the following few weeks. and btw that girl on cnbc is hot, |

So what you're saying is that this is a race between BP and Monsanto to kill us with poisoned fields? Yes...exactly. a group of "300" families of "elite", behind the wizard of OZ curtain, surrounding the royal London heart, all connected with the Queen, they all conspire to wish us DEAD. and yes, this could have been all cleaned up, big tankers, and pleanty of new technology is going to waste, we were just offered plenty of foreign help from other countries, just the same as our best in the field here in Florida and all over have stepped up to help. here is one link: google: "sea brat technology", check out: seminal.firedoglake.com/diary/50810 Johnny Diamond the business owner, he has awesome technology, that BP has denied, and will not use, instead favoring Corexit 900 CHEMICAL. today huffington post had a headline: BP MEDIA CLAMPDOWN" GEE, I wonder why? too much overwhelming truth coming out against them. i'm tellin you, BP and the royals behind this corp, have purposefully strung this out, evading the best technology, in favor for heavy chemicals, to destroy our southern economy and it's people. they KNOW, we many, they KNOW, the south has many christians, and prayer warriors. they are designing a TOXIC HELL...someone unknown has blocked and or hacked the page with the link i described, to prevent the general public from seeing it! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 958499 United States 06/03/2010 01:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP is bullshit. Spreading the oil over a large patch of land would be a good thing. The earth can easily handle the job of decomposing the oil if spread out. Remember oil is dead organic material which was never decomposed because it was buried quickly (Noah's flood). That and the pressure make oil. Quoting: CaptBillAre you serious? Would you seriously feel OK about drinking the water? Why don't you go pour some oil contaminated water on some of your outdoor plants and see how they do. First, oil and water do not mix. Second, the oil will be SPREAD over a great distanc, diluting it significantly. Third, no way that a coat of oil is going to poison a plant. Oil cannot get to the roots. Ground will filter ALL of the oil from the water. What we will have is a dirty mess, yes, but life will EASILY manage. Problems arise when certain animals drown in the pure goop. Oil is ORGANIC and will easily be "digested" by microbes. What oil is, is TOXIC and it can contaminate the soil, ground water, buildings flooded with it, etc. We're not talking about vegetable oil here. You BP simpletons should be taken out in the street and dosed in the stuff. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 990784 United States 06/03/2010 02:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mass displacement ie; refugee's shall arrive in a town near you. From south to north, sub tropic patterns will disperse to crops and water sheds, Atlantic patterns from east to west. But one thing that does not get the attention in the news or otherwise, is the GAS. The mass amounts of compressed natural gas and its poly states, escaping at 135,000 psi back pressure, factor that with the cubic foot per second volume delivery at discharge port. Then factor in the rise to atmospheric pressure for rate of expansion. Keep in mind that each gas node will carry with it portions of other chemicals we already know of, and then those we are not told of. This rate of release, and its resting point in the ozone, nice huh? Yes, during it's flight, it will condense as well, and make landfall where ever the weather patterns deem. You already know the oil content that is saturated, but the Gas and chemicals, is not being aired and ignore for the most part, and it has Major Consequences, that are just mind boggling, imo. Some say Ice Age, some say we might just cook first. That, topped with chemical fallout, acid rains, it looks very grim. The recovery from this just to sustain life won't even be seen for multiple generations. We face being posioned, air, land and water. Absolute extinction, all lifeforms, including cockroaches ! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 832190I am just reporting what was said on CNBC. He just said that a bad storm, or a Cat. 2-3 hurricane specifically would have enough power to take oil well inland and coat everything, causing pure chaos. This is the first time I have heard public speculation in the mainstream media that there could be mass evacuations. Like I said, this guy is a head at an arm of the Democratic think tank that works with Obama. Get those planes in the air going back and forth laying some chemical aerosol grids, directing the weather any where they want to... We are going see some super hurricanes this season. Millions know seeing the planet skies these days, they can do what ever they want to the weather. |

The main climatologist is calling for Gulf Dead Zones and unprecidented health and economic damage if a hurricane or strong TS comes through the gulf. Given rumors of evacuations and FEMA, I would keep my eyes and ears open. This interview really struck me knowing how these guys are the "brains" behind Obama. [link to www.cnbc.com] |

The others went apeshit you say but even by accusing him of speculation they did not refute the lie. They admitted a tiny window wherein it could enter. That is why they went apeshit. |
