My questions: Is this vortex on the South pole of Venus related to the newly formed "Deadly time vortex over Antarctica" as reported in the following story?

Is this an early indication of a coming polar shift? For the South Poles of two planets to begin developing South pole vortexes at nearly the same time seems to be too much of a coincidence for me. The information below from: www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p72.htm
During a pole shift and the days preceding a pole shift there are many forces affecting the oceans which, when applied to the atmosphere, create tornadoes. As any child watching water run down a drain can note, a swirling vortex is created in the center of rapidly dropping water. This same process is what causes tornadoes to form when cold air is thrust over a warmer air mass, and when the force of wind behind the cold air stops, allowing it to suddenly drop.
In the days leading up to a pole shift, the stopped rotation of the Earth causes the water formerly pulled toward the equator by rotation to equalize. The water at the equator starts flowing toward the poles. When the 12th Planet is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, water in any large body will heap up, drawn by the gravity pull of this large body just as the tides are drawn by the Moon. During the pole shift, the Earth's waters are first pulled in the direction of the shift, along with the Earth's crust, and then blocked in this motion by any land mass that has ceased to slide. All of these actions set water in motion, and many of these actions occur simultaneously, created chaotic motion. Thus, water may be in a position to suddenly drop, having been heaped high in proportion to the surrounding water. Cold arctic water may have been thrust on top of warmer water, and as with tornadoes, when the thrust that caused this situation stops, the cold water will suddenly drop, creating a vortex.
These giant whirlpool have been recorded by the ancients, as their ships on occasion were caught in them during a pole shift. When one of the fleet managed to escape, the tale was told and recorded. However, as with many pole shift generated tales, these tales are taken to be myths.

Yes I am fully aware of this paradox. I think they have considered some of this into their experiments.However I believe they are basing the justification of their experiments on the "Locality principle" of EPR paradox so they can claim there is no danger, THIS IS VERY INCORRECT THAT THEY HAVE DONE SO! The Locality principle isn't applicable in the realm of Dark Matter,anti-matter and Dark Energy, which is inter-twined in the Big bang argument and big-bang replicable experiments. Therefore it is completely Illogical and contra dictionary when performing particle physics experimentation like they are, to say "that a measurement in one of two isolated systems can produce no real change in the other". As far as education purposes, all of you need to realize that wormholes can occur on many different angles and trajectories.
They can open up both on a horizontal pane and vertical pane, or any other angle ratio in between. This was obviously a horizontal one. They can randomly stay open for seconds,hours,days,weeks. They can also take place at any elevation, and even inside land masses, in the air, in the ocean,in several layers of atmosphere,and definitely in space.

Wormholes typically have two openings, and entrance and an exit. Neither openings have to exist o the same timeline. The entrance can open up on one timeline and the exit can exist on another timeline.

Basically, phantom magnetism is an effect which is resulting from particle physics experimentation that creates a barrier of magnetism extending outward from earth around the far side of the sun and beyond our solar system. What it's doing is attracting all metallic objects beyond this phantom bubble and pulling them directly towards Earth. In a way,this affect basically is overwriting our Sun's most powerful force of magnetism and steering these objects towards us rather than the Sun. However, some of the objects are colliding with the Sun and some of the other planets in the solar system still,but only because the Sun and other planets are passing within the trajectory of those such objects as their being pulled towards Earth.

NASA Announces Results of Epic Space-Time Experiment May 4, 2011: Einstein was right again. There is a space-time vortex around Earth, and its shape precisely matches the predictions of Einstein's theory of gravity.

Researchers confirmed these points at a press conference today at NASA headquarters where they announced the long-awaited results of Gravity Probe B (GP-B).

"The space-time around Earth appears to be distorted just as general relativity predicts," says Stanford University physicist Francis Everitt, principal investigator of the Gravity Probe B mission.

"This is an epic result," adds Clifford Will of Washington University in St. Louis. An expert in Einstein's theories, Will chairs an independent panel of the National Research Council set up by NASA in 1998 to monitor and review the results of Gravity Probe B. "One day," he predicts, "this will be written up in textbooks as one of the classic experiments in the history of physics."

Time and space, according to Einstein's theories of relativity, are woven together, forming a four-dimensional fabric called "space-time." The mass of Earth dimples this fabric, much like a heavy person sitting in the middle of a trampoline. Gravity, says Einstein, is simply the motion of objects following the curvaceous lines of the dimple.

If Earth were stationary, that would be the end of the story. But Earth is not stationary. Our planet spins, and the spin should twist the dimple, slightly, pulling it around into a 4-dimensional swirl. This is what GP-B went to space in 2004 to check.

The idea behind the experiment is simple:

Put a spinning gyroscope into orbit around the Earth, with the spin axis pointed toward some distant star as a fixed reference point. Free from external forces, the gyroscope's axis should continue pointing at the star--forever. But if space is twisted, the direction of the gyroscope's axis should drift over time. By noting this change in direction relative to the star, the twists of space-time could be measured.

In practice, the experiment is tremendously difficult.


One of the super-spherical gyroscopes of Gravity Probe B. [more] The four gyroscopes in GP-B are the most perfect spheres ever made by humans. These ping pong-sized balls of fused quartz and silicon are 1.5 inches across and never vary from a perfect sphere by more than 40 atomic layers. If the gyroscopes weren't so spherical, their spin axes would wobble even without the effects of relativity.

According to calculations, the twisted space-time around Earth should cause the axes of the gyros to drift merely 0.041 arcseconds over a year. An arcsecond is 1/3600th of a degree. To measure this angle reasonably well, GP-B needed a fantastic precision of 0.0005 arcseconds. It's like measuring the thickness of a sheet of paper held edge-on 100 miles away.

"GP-B researchers had to invent whole new technologies to make this possible," notes Will.

They developed a "drag free" satellite that could brush against the outer layers of Earth's atmosphere without disturbing the gyros. They figured out how to keep Earth's magnetic field from penetrating the spacecraft. And they created a device to measure the spin of a gyro--without touching the gyro. Pulling off the experiment was an exceptional challenge. But after a year of data-taking and nearly five years of analysis, the GP-B scientists appear to have done it.

"We measured a geodetic precession of 6.600 plus or minus 0.017 arcseconds and a frame dragging effect of 0.039 plus or minus 0.007 arcseconds," says Everitt.

For readers who are not experts in relativity: Geodetic precession is the amount of wobble caused by the static mass of the Earth (the dimple in spacetime) and the frame dragging effect is the amount of wobble caused by the spin of the Earth (the twist in spacetime). Both values are in precise accord with Einstein's predictions.

"In the opinion of the committee that I chair, this effort was truly heroic. We were just blown away," says Will.

The results of Gravity Probe B give physicists renewed confidence that the strange predictions of Einstein's theory are indeed correct, and that these predictions may be applied elsewhere. The type of spacetime vortex that exists around Earth is duplicated and magnified elsewhere in the cosmos--around massive neutron stars, black holes, and active galactic nuclei.

"If you tried to spin a gyroscope in the severely twisted space-time around a black hole," says Will, "it wouldn't just gently precess by a fraction of a degree. It would wobble crazily and possibly even flip over."

In binary black hole systems--that is, where one black hole orbits another black hole--the black holes themselves are spinning and thus behave like gyroscopes. Imagine a system of orbiting, spinning, wobbling, flipping black holes! That's the sort of thing general relativity predicts and which GP-B tells us can really be true.

The scientific legacy of GP-B isn't limited to general relativity. The project also touched the lives of hundreds of young scientists:

"Because it was based at a university many students were able to work on the project," says Everitt. "More than 86 PhD theses at Stanford plus 14 more at other Universities were granted to students working on GP-B. Several hundred undergraduates and 55 high-school students also participated, including astronaut Sally Ride and eventual Nobel Laureate Eric Cornell."

NASA funding for Gravity Probe B began in the fall of 1963. That means Everitt and some colleagues have been planning, promoting, building, operating, and analyzing data from the experiment for more than 47 years—truly, an epic effort.

What's next?

Everitt recalls some advice given to him by his thesis advisor and Nobel Laureate Patrick M.S. Blackett: "If you can't think of what physics to do next, invent some new technology, and it will lead to new physics."

"Well," says Everitt, "we invented 13 new technologies for Gravity Probe B. Who knows where they will take us?"

This epic might just be getting started, after all….

The solar eruptions were going to spike when you start seeing an increase in the larger than earth size objects(sphere orbs) orbiting the Sun's corona. An internationally renown geophysicist suggests a black hole may be responsible for recent Earth changes.

What is causing the geomagnetic field flux? Why have regions of the field ripped and collapsed exposing Earth to the solar max fury rapidly approaching in 2012? Why is the Earth's core seemingly spinning crazily out of control and behaving in a way never before seen?



Chulliat thinks a black hole's in Earth's core.

Geophysicist Arnaud Chulliat [Bio] of the Institut de Physique du Globe in Paris thinks he knows: a black hole has breached our planet's core and may be about to release literal hell on Earth.

Chulliat, who gave a major speech back in 2009 at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco, focused on the geomagnetic field, anomalies, and the dangerous flux the field is undergoing.

He addressed the wandering pole and some of the reasons why the magnetic field is behaving in an odd manner.

National Geographic covered some of his speech in "North Magnetic Pole Moving Due to Core Flux."

The scientist describes the field as a plume of magnetism emanating from Earth's super-hot core. He says it wraps itself around the Earth in a complicated matrix of shimmering energy.

The field also interacts with the sun and may even be influenced to a degree by shifting ocean currents.



Shifting magnetic field driven by black hole?

Dark heart

But the core contains a secret terror—a physical force that simultaneously grants the planet life and yet, ironically, dooms it in the end. Some poets call the massive gravitic-magnetic generating force a dark heart.

Yet this same dark heart drives galaxies and guides exploding star stuff onto the pathway towards the building blocks of life.

The ultimate price of life is death and the Earth is no different—a very dark heart may have taken refuge inside the world.

According to the evidence, Chulliat says, the inner heart of Earth—its spinning core—is probably surrounded by a hurricane of charged atomic particles whipped in a whirlwind around a black hole singularity.

Because the black hole is rotating within the center of the core, the particles create a massive electrical field. According to this scenario, the geomagnetic field would have its dipolar positive charge located at the Antarctic, which it does.

Disturbing changes

From time to time the polarity would flip: north would become south and positive negative as the black hole changed speed and direction and the magnetic field followed suit.

Ringing like a bell

A more frightening scenario is the black hole may not be stationary.

Although Chulliat believes that the singularity would sit dead center inside the Earth's spinning, molten core, others have suggested that a small black hole might bounce back and forth beneath the mantle like the clapper of a bell.

As the hole approached the surface it would be attracted back to the center of the planet, fall inward, build up speed, and slip right through the core to the other side of the Earth.

The "ringing" process could be repeated for thousands, even millions, of years until enough matter had been swallowed by the hole to destroy the Earth.

When the hole began the process of swallowing the Earth most of the planet would be gone within a matter of hours.

NASA: "We're Seeing Things We've Never Seen Before" Massive Plasma Waves Sweep The Sun

A huge storm on the sun this past week unleashed what some have called the most massive eruption of solar plasma ever seen. NASA astronomers said the huge June 7 solar eruption, called a coronal mass ejection, probably wasn't the biggest ever, but it is notable both for its size and its odd behavior, as massive waves of plasma roared off the sun only to rain back down on the solar surface.










"We're seeing things we've never seen before," said Phillip Chamberlin, an astrophysicist at NASA's Goddard Spaceflight Center and a deputy project scientist on the agency's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) satellite. "It's a really exciting event. There are a lot of exceptions to it."

Since scientists know how these waves initiated by a Kelvin-Helmholtz instability they can use this information to help solve an enduring mystery of why the corona is thousands of times hotter than originally expected.

"One of the biggest questions about the solar corona is the heating mechanism," says solar physicist Leon Ofman of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and Catholic University. "The corona is a thousand times hotter than the sun's visible surface, but what heats it up is not well-understood. People have suggested that waves like this might cause turbulence which cause heating, but now we have direct evidence of Kelvin-Helmholtz waves."

Ofman and his Goddard colleague, Barbara Thompson, spotted these waves in images taken on April 8, 2010. These were some of the first images caught on camera by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), a solar telescope with outstanding resolution that launched on February 11, 2010 and began capturing data on March 24 of that year.

That these "surfer" waves exist in the sun at all is not necessarily a surprise, since they do appear in so many places in nature including, for example, clouds on Earth and between the bands of Saturn.

"The waves we're seeing in these images are so small," says Thompson, the deputy project scientist for SDO. "They're only the size of the United States."

Kelvin-Helmholtz instabilities occur when two fluids of different densities or different speeds flow by each other. In the case of ocean waves, that's the dense water and the lighter air. As they flow past each other, slight ripples can be quickly amplified into the giant waves loved by surfers. In the case of the solar atmosphere, which is made of a very hot and electrically charged gas called plasma, the two flows come from an expanse of plasma erupting off the sun's surface as it passes by plasma that is not erupting. The difference in flow speeds and densities across this boundary sparks the instability that builds into the waves.

In order to confirm this description, the team developed a computer model to see what takes place in the region. Their model showed that these conditions could indeed lead to giant surfing waves rolling through the corona.

Ofman says that despite the fact that Kelvin-Helmholtz instabilities have been spotted in other places, there was no guarantee they'd be spotted in the sun's corona, which is permeated with magnetic fields.

"I wasn't sure that this instability could evolve on the sun, since magnetic fields can have a stabilizing effect," he says. "Now we know that this instability can appear even though the solar plasma is magnetized."

Seeing the massive waves suggests they can cascade down to smaller forms of turbulence too. Scientists believe that the friction created by turbulence -- the simple rolling of material over and around itself -- could help add heating energy to the corona.

Hammering out the exact mechanism for heating the corona will continue to intrigue researchers for some time but, says Thompson, SDO's ability to capture images of the entire sun every 12 seconds with such precise detail will be a great boon.

"SDO is not the first solar observatory with high enough visual resolution to be able to see something like this," she says. "But for some reason Kelvin-Helmholtz features are rare. The fact that we spotted something so interesting in some of the first images really shows the strength of SDO."
