Put garlic juice in the ear to help remove trapped water then use olive oil and lobelia extract then rub gently. Ugh - Ear infections suck ass! I had one that bled, and leaked out some yellow liquid. I thought I was going to die. I couldn't move, and couldn't open my eyes for 8 hours. Worst pain ever. ...This coming from someone who has more than 100 stitches on his body! ouch!! why do you have the stitches? |

ZTE (OP) User ID: 779511 United States 06/10/2010 03:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How do you know not having sniffles is because of olive leaf or oil of oregano or vitamin C or vitamin D3? ie. which one? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 962698Well, lately, (due to funds) I've been alternating oil of oregano and olive leaf extract daily. But I still can't pin down the effectiveness of each one. It might be the combination, but I know that these remedies have seriously helped my immune system. I said above that I take these in pill form (from a vitamin company). I know not to start drinking concentrated oils. Believe me, I have them all, and one drop is enough to ruin the taste of a perfectly good cup of tea. |
ZTE (OP) User ID: 779511 United States 06/10/2010 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had recurrent urinary tract/kidney infections for years. Someone gave me a bottle of Nature's Way Kidney Bladder, and it totally cleaned me out... (I'm talking peeing brown sludge for 2 days.) I've been a year without an infection now, and even my energy level has gone up. FYI, you are only supposed to use it for a few days. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 995742It contains: cramp bark, ginger, goldenseal root, juniper berries, marshmallow root, parsley, and uva ursi leaves (I believe this is commonly known as bearberry) Anyway, just wanted to share this because it is all ingredients you can either find or buy very cheaply, and it totally changed my life. Thanks, all these ingredients are more or less locally found for me. |

ZTE (OP) User ID: 779511 United States 06/10/2010 03:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm not sure about your pills, but the recommendation seems to be use oil of oregano undiluted. Garlic is probably really good to prevent colds etc. If you're constantly using immune-boosting remedies, wouldn't your immune system go into overdrive? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 962698It's possible, but I have had a lower-than average immune system for most of my life, so I take these pills to sort of bring it back up to the average level. I'm more worried about what would happen if I stop taking these things, and I hope my body will take up the slack. |

The only things in there that should be limited to a week of daily dose are the juniper berries and the parsley. (you can however, snack on fresh parsely all the time, just not as a strong tea for more than week without a break) Marshmallow soothes mucus membranes and therefore is also a very good mouth or eye wash. Uva Ursi helps dissolve sediment in the bladder and works as a diuretic but it is mild and not dangerous. Golden seal can be used until the infection is cleared up but it's not the kind of thing one would take daily as a preventative. Cramp bark is just what it implies. If you are prone to bladder troubles, the ones that make it hard to pee in the mornings and have nothing else in the house, keep some peppermint tea bags around. (you won't feel like brewing the loose tea) and drink very strong, hot mint tea. You'll start peeing freely very quickly. Grow catnip and don't run out of that either - it's one of the best antispasmodics in the world. P.S. juniper berries are a strong detox and kidney stimulant and they'll overwork if you take the stuff too long - that's why the time limit. Drink a lot of red clover tea when you get a bad kidney infection; drink it hot or cold just as you would water. Last Edited by Awen Losg on 06/10/2010 03:11 PM |

Also, vitamin B17 (Spinach and Apricot Seeds). I haven't had a cold in 2 years (since starting), alergies have nearly gone away completely, never contracted H1N1, and I smoke cigars like a champion. I highly recommend to all reading this to watch the mega dry but ultra fascinating lecture on Google Video by Dr. Bob Beck - simply search 'suppressed medical discovery' and watch the +1 hour version. This is the same guy who invented the strobe light and was a born nerd. Doesn't sell anything in the video. Wait... ZTE (OP) User ID: 779511 United States 06/10/2010 03:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I take an echinacea pill if I'm beginning to come down with a cold. It seems to work for me. It's supposed to stimulate your immune system but I'm not sure if that's been proven. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 962698It hasn't been proven, but the people who "prove" these things usually get paid off by pharmaceutical companies. Back in all my advanced botany classes, even the professors (who I highly respected) always criticized these natural remedies. But in my opinion, it's always worth trying as long as it doesn't kill you. Last Edited by Zedakah on 06/10/2010 03:18 PM |

I use it to help my chronic curiosity as to why the world is so shit and controlled by 30-60 people. I use it to stop wondering why, and start enjoy life more. It makes me feel more in the present. I spend 6-8 hours a day researching and discussing the things that're usually on GLP. If not for weed, I would spend the other 10 - 12 hours doing the same.. ROFLMAO |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 962698 Australia 06/10/2010 03:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The natural health industry and vitamin companies are just as big as pharmaceutical companies, and their claims are often untested, but I'm not here to argue about this. Clove oil is apparently good for toothaches, and diluted with water for cleaning, kills mould. |

Roxi User ID: 900755 United States 06/10/2010 03:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Monday the inside of my nose became very dry and irritated. By Monday night my right side of nose was swollen and aching, to the point it hurt to barely touch it! Tuesday night I was feeling desperate, sure didn't want to run to the doctor if I could avoid it. I grabbed some Q Tips and poured a little Colloidal Silver in a small bowl, dabbing it into the nostrils. It wasn't long after that I felt a little bit of relief. I did it again this morning and this afternoon. I guess it is sinus or allergies, but it is healing up fine, much better than it was, anyway! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 991470 United States 06/10/2010 03:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm trying to compose a list of remedies for various ailments from plants and herbs native to my region. Quoting: ZTEAnyway, I always enjoy hearing how other people have lowered cholesterol or cured a parasite NOT using a magic pill. So I'll start first with my way of lowering cholesterol and high blood pressure. 3 parts Flax Seed Oil 1 part Fish Liver Oil 1 part fresh carrots 2 parts lemon water (water with fresh squeezed lemon) Purée the carrots finely and add all other parts. Stir (or blend) them again. Always shake before using, because the oil and water will separate and carrots will fall to the bottom. Take 1 teaspoon a day or 1/2tsp in the morning; 1/2tsp at night. Everyone I have talked to who have tried this (either with fresh ingredients or vitamin capsules) has reported a large decrease in cholesterol (as well as blood pressure if it was an issue). Flax Seed Oil also is a good remedy for liver damage as well as seizures. P.S. I know how to extract and use various plant parts for these purposes, and would not suggest doing it unless you've had practice doing it. There are several plants that are extremely poisonous except for the tiny "x" part. Also, there are many poisonous parts that you have to separate the poison out from the usable oils/extracts. If I use any of these plants in a remedy, I'll be sure to note it, and I suggest you do the same if you decide to post. For colds and flus: 1 teaspoon of dried black elderberries to every 8 ox of water. Boil water and berries until water becomes dark blue or black. Strain liquid into a cup, sweeten to taste and drink up. Tastes a bit like blueberries. Do this 2-3 times a day while experiencing the first symptoms of a cold or flu and you will be healed within 3 days tops. Myself and my kids usually are better that day or the next day. It works surprisingly well. I swear by it. |
