Please, show me ONE scientific study that links cigarettes to cancer!
The present day scientific religion thrives only on the basis that the mainstream media play by their tune.

Well they are all together... banks, pharmaceuticals, oil, media, they all have the same people behind them.

And they have forced onto us the idea that cigarettes, mainly tobacco are the primary reason for the present day cancer growth throughout the world.

And again it is a "scientific fact" without any scientific study or proof to back it up.

Why would they want to do that? Well there is a simple explanation.

But first I would like to see if anyone of you can come up with just one scientific study that links tobacco to cancer.

ps. scientific study is not, I repeat, NOT a statistical study. Statistical studies are like computer modeling, you can change the variables as long as you don't get the result you were hoping for in the first place.

Now young scientific fundamentalist... the race is on...

Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

no such thing. Maybe all the shit added to cigarettes these days will cause cancer. Tobacco has been used for centuries.

I read a book a while ago - can't remember the title or writer - but it was about this issue: A scientist who said that NO-ONE had been able to prove that smoking leads to cancer no matter how much they forced the (poor) lab-animals to smoke.

not too lucky, hey?

Did I not write in the OP that statistical study is NOT scientific study.

sheesh...

I knew that people are dumb enough to confuse them, so I specifically pointed that out. But even with that precaution in place, you post a statistical study?

You can puff cigarette smoke at any animal for as long as you want. sure, you might kill the animal in the process, but they will never grow a tumor.

Nuclear weapons testing is what has caused the explosion of cancer.

only 20% of smokers develop lung cancer

less than 50% of the people with lung cancer, smoke.

Lung cancer is caused by something other that the residue of a burning plant.

Plant residue cannot alter DNA code

Yeah thats right, you are 100% right.
If someone ever smoked ever once in their life, it goes down as a smoking related death.
The majority of lung cancer it is known to be caused by Radon gas naturally occurring and after mining operations and construction when they dig up the ground.

The propensity of cancer is inherited. You are far more likely have certain types of cancer (such as lung cancer) if you've had a relative who's had lung cancer. It's a much larger factor than smoking.

I quit smoking but not because I'm worried about cancer. It's gotten too expensive, there's too much in the way of social prohibitions now (banned at bars here, cold winters) and it smells awful to me now.

I had a co-worker whose husband died of lung cancer and never smoked. But he spent the summer building a deck and didn't wear a face mask while sawing and sanding. Pressure treated wood has all kinds of nasty chemicals.
