Obama appoints MABUS! Was Nostradamus Right?

So, who thinks this guy will try to overthrow Obama?

I saw this on the TV at the bar last night and almost shit myself!

I was shocked to find Ray Mabus existed last year.. told myself to keep an eye on what he does...


now he's the Gulf Coast Recovery Czar!!!

blows my mind. i thought there would be a bigger reaction here on GLP.. because seriously... what are the odds? MABUS has been appointed to HELP in an event that could threaten lots of life.

This has been discussed to death in previous threads, but here's the summery of my points:

- Why would Nostradamus outright name a name like that when everything else is supposed to be obscure hidden meanings?

- He apparently had a buddy names.. Mabuse

- In old french, Mabus could be taken as M. Abus, which, among other things, can mean Master Deceiver, Or abuse master, or other such things along those lines

Didn't he name hitler?

I think whatever Nostradamus is talking about is so serious that he didn't want to hide it. I don't necessarily think it's the oil spill though, but rather something else. I think it’s the same Mabus, just something else, Though it could be this. I guess we'll see soon enough if it is.

Coming up with things like OMGZ!!! LOOK!!! obaMABUSh...

Now we have MABUS(no other way to see it, Ray Mabus) in charge of the recovery from the worst environmental disaster in world history! (mind you, recovery doesn't really fit because it's still ongoing.. and getting worse)

Cause he's naming an object, not a person? My interpretation of the french for the Mabus quatrain has it as more of a name for some event or object than the name of a person.. What it doesn't really say is "mabus will soon die" - that's not how it translates heh

While I get that Nostradamus would have seemed more legit had he actually named Napoleon and Hitler (correct spellings and all), he did a pretty damn good job, don't you think? I mean.. assuming you buy into his prophecies. Why couldn't he just so happened to have by some "miracle" gotten one of the names spot-on? Does anybody really truly know how to decipher his prophecies? We're all just guessing, really. WE don't have the guy here to tell us what the hell he meant.
