I see this happening early every morning when I arrive at the UCI library which opens at 8 AM. However, the brilliant 4.0 scholars that attend this prestigious institution can't figure out why the automatic doors won't open for them at 7 AM, 7:05 AM, 7:11 AM, 7:17 AM, etc, etc.

It's real joke to watch these buffoons try to cover up their stupidity or ignorance. Yes, there are huge signs posted at the front door with the hours of operation clearly stated. Reading is obviously not one of their accredited activities.
