I´ve been researching 737 plane incidents and the emerging patterns seem to be somehow ´17´ based. Next date on that pattern would be June 19, 2005. I expect an 737 incident could take place on June 19 as a marker, possibly related to Taiwan/China. Prior to the main event. If so, I will post the details here.

The following events are those involving at least one passenger death on a 737 where the aircraft flight had a direct or indirect role. Excluded would be events where the only passengers killed were stowaways, hijackers, or saboteurs.

US President Ronald Reagan told reporters the attack was a painful reminder of the menace of terrorism, but said US citizens could not crawl into a hole.

"You have to live and you have to do your best to protect yourself, but you have to know that these terrorist groups are threatening all over the world," he said.

US forces have been in Lebanon since August 1982 to act as a peacekeeping force between warring Christian and Muslim factions.

On 12 October this year the Multinational Force in Lebanon resolution was signed to allow US, French and Italian troops to remain in Beirut and help oversee the reconciliation process in the area.

Police end Cambodia school siege

Police have ended a hostage crisis at an international school in north-western Cambodia, after gunmen seized dozens of children.
An eyewitness told the BBC that at least four of the gunmen had been captured, but that one young girl had died at the school in Siem Reap.

All other children, aged between two and six, and from countries including the UK, US and in Asia, are now free.

The hostage-takers are said to have demanded $1,000, weapons and a car.

Karl Balch, honorary British consul in Siem Reap, told the BBC he believed that three of the gunmen could be dead and a fourth was in police custody.

The motive for the hostage taking is still unclear.

Siem Reap is popular with tourists for the ancient monument of Angkor Wat and is relatively prosperous, compared to most of Cambodia.

Kindergarten captives

At least four men armed with shotguns were said to have stormed the private school at about 0930 (0230 GMT).

They seized two kindergarten classes and a number of teachers.

The children are reported to have come from Japan and several other Asian countries, Australia, the US and across Europe.

One British child was also taken hostage.

Reports from the scene say the men demanded cash, six AK-47 assault rifles, six shotguns, hand grenades and a car.

Tourist town

Correspondents say the school is used mainly by foreign residents in the gateway town for Cambodia´s most popular tourist attraction, the Temples of Angkor.

Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar not in Afghanistan: US envoy

Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden and Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar are not in Afghanistan, the US ambassador said, a day after a top Taliban commander said the pair were alive and well.

"Mullah Omar is not in Afghanistan. I do not believe that Osama is in Afghanistan," envoy Zalmay Khalilzad told a press conference.

Khalilzad did not say where the two were thought to be hiding but added that the hunt for bin Laden continued.

"Symbolically, it is very important that he is brought to justice," he said, adding that progress had been made in the fight against the Al-Qaeda network, with some of its top leaders arrested and its financial capabilities weakened.

A Taliban commander, Mullah Akhtar Usmani, told Pakistan´s private GEO television in an interview broadcast Wednesday that bin Laden was alive and well, dismissing reports that he was suffering from a kidney ailment.

One-eyed Taliban supremo Mullah Omar was also in good health and remains in command of the hardline Islamic militia which formerly ruled Afghanistan, Usmani added.

The militants have launched a fresh onslaught in recent months against the US-led forces who ousted them in late 2001.

Bin Laden has a 25-million-dollar US bounty on his head while Washington has offered 10 million for the capture of Omar for his role in sheltering Al-Qaeda before and after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

Bin Laden and other wanted Taliban and Al-Qaeda leaders are thought to be hiding in the rugged tribal areas between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The US military and their allies would have to tailor a strategy to bring all its power to bear against extremist Baathists and other militants "to break the back of the insurgency. And I think it can be done," he added.

An Arabic speaker and a Muslim academic, Khalilzad has served in various capacities in the US departments of State and Defense, as well as with the National Security Council.

He was also an advisor to the giant oil company Unocal during Taliban rule in Afghanistan.

Khalilzad was picked two months ago by US President George W. Bush to succeed John Negroponte, who became the new US Director of National Intelligence.

If confirmed by the full Senate, Khalilzad will lead one of the largest US embassies in the world, with some 1,160 personnel under his authority.

Khalilzad would take over the US embassy in Baghdad at a critical juncture, as the new Iraq government faces a deadline of drafting a constitution by August 15 and holding a referendum on the document on October 15.

Well,

I have learned a lot the last 2 years. I started posting on TSHTF and then OSA. Both forums were somehow manipulated but there were some important sincere posters. I´ve also been posting on Etemenanki forum but Goro took the forum offline.

I went my own way when OSA collapsed, I decided to start fresh at Transconscious forum. It gave me some time to do my research without to worry about just another forum crash. Now I´ve planted my finding on several forums and I repost updates on several forums. I case a forum shuts down, I can continue at another.

I´ve lost alot of info due to manipulation and I won´t lett that happen again.

About other posters, I ´ve noticed alot of synchronity with other posters as soon as they are seriously trying to follow the emerging patterns and symbolism

Al-Qaeda ´on the run´ in Pakistan

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf says that his forces have "broken the back" of al-Qaeda in the country.
Speaking at a meeting at the end of his three-day visit to Australia, Gen Musharraf said the al-Qaeda was "on the run" in Pakistan.

His comments came a day after a Taleban commander claimed that Osama Bin Laden and Afghanistan´s former Taleban leader Mullah Omar are alive and well.

There is no way of independently verifying the commander´s claims.


Gen Musharraf said that his forces had chased al-Qaeda out of the cities into the mountains and then "occupied their sanctuaries".

"Terrorism is to be confronted with force. We are doing that, and we have succeeded," Gen Musharraf told a meeting of businessmen in Sydney.

´Root causes

"We have broken the back of al-Qaeda by breaking their lateral and vertical linkages. They are on the run."

Gen Musharraf´s comments come a day after Taleban commander Mullah Akhtar Usmani told Pakistan´s privately-run Geo television that he was in touch with Mullah Omar and continued to take directions from him.

Pakistan is on the frontline in the war against terror, with its army hunting suspected al-Qaeda-linked militants in the unruly tribal region of South Waziristan bordering Afghanistan.

Osama Bin Laden is widely believed to be hiding in the area and President Musharraf told journalists in Canberra earlier this week that he was most certainly alive.

"I know that he is alive. Most likely he is alive, yes, because of our information and interrogation of various al-Qaeda operatives that we have apprehended," AFP quoted him as saying.

"Maybe he is in the border region in hiding wherever he sees a vacuum."

Gen Musharraf said that Pakistan could not fight terrorism and extremism alone in the subcontinent.

"We also believe that, along with action to eliminate and dismantle terrorist cells, there is need to address the root causes that lie in political disputes and deprivation and poverty that breed extremism," he said.

The Pakistani president said that a "solution of the Palestinian dispute and also the Kashmir issue" would help in countering al-Qaeda and resolving regional conflicts.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice leaves Friday on her first major Middle East trip seeking to boost momentum for US efforts to bring peace and democratic reform to the volatile region.

It struck three days ago at 1141 local time when children were at school and most people at work.

With most of Armenia covered in high-rise buildings the consequences have been devastating.

The scale of the destruction has brought criticism the infrastructure was substandard, prompting Soviet authorities to pledge Spitak will be rebuilt with blocks no more than five storeys high.

Medical Aid

The disaster has led to an unprecedented level of openness by the Soviet authorities as they struggle to cope with the devastation.

The Soviet Union has made an appeal for medical aid requesting, in particular, blood transfusion equipment and dialysis machines.

America is sending medical aid and sniffer dogs capable of detecting survivors.

Dogs sent by France alerted aid workers to 60 people buried alive under the rubble yesterday.

India has sent clothes and blankets while Britain is transporting excavating equipment

Five tonnes of clothes have already been collected by Aid Armenia based in Britain.

December 26, 1988: First clue to Lockerbie crash found
Crash investigators have uncovered wreckage from Pan Am flight 103 which may hold the key to the Lockerbie air disaster.
A suitcase discovered in the wreckage of the Boeing 747 has been sent for testing at a government research centre amid speculation it may contain evidence the crash was caused by sabotage.

Bomb experts at the Royal Armament Research and Development Establishment in Fort Halstead, Kent, will be looking for particles which may have penetrated the suitcase and show evidence of an explosive.

It is being seen as a significant development in the investigation as it is the first piece from the wreckage to be sent for testing.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, which runs the research unit, said: "This is the first wreckage to be sent to us. The police have chosen what they want to be examined."

Results of the study are expected to be available by the end of the week.

Investigations

Meanwhile, police have announced the search for clues may mean the process of retrieving bodies could take some time.

This is because the bodies may also contain particles which show if a bomb was planted, and could shed light on the investigation.

Michael Charles, who is heading the investigation said it is not known yet if the crash was caused by structural failure or a bomb.

Investigators cannot establish if the plane disintegrated before it came to ground, suggesting a bomb, or if it was destroyed by impact on the ground after severe structural failure led to its descent.

UN Probe: Lebanon´s Hariri Killed by Truck Bomb


A United Nations investigation team says a powerful truck bomb caused the explosion that killed former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

A German prosecutor, Detlev Mehlis, leading the U.N. team told a news conference in Beirut, Friday the blast occurred above ground. Some people believed the explosives were buried under the street, suggesting officials were involved in the plot to kill the former prime minister.

Mr. Hariri and 20 others were killed when his motorcade was blown up on February 14 in downtown Beirut. His assassination was the catalyst for mass anti-Syrian protests and intensified international pressure on Damascus to withdraw its army from Lebanon.
