This is from my internal homepage of the benefits website for my state unemployment: "Without Congressional action, Extended Benefits payments will end on June 5, 2010. We will continue to pay benefits remaining on current Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) claims. Please continue to request payment every two weeks as scheduled in case the deadlines are extended. The benefits are also larger, with health insurance also being subsidized for the first time. Now this new extension will increase benefits to up to 129 weeks. That is two-and-a-half years of benefits, almost five times longer than the previous extension. |

BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 381742 United States 07/20/2010 01:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Damn, that's a whole lot of drunk... Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

Nobody will have the stomach to cut us off just before Christmas. Thanks Hahahahahahaaaaaa! You are a fucking leech, please kill yourself! I just realized... they aren't saying, "Keynesian Economics" they're saying "Kenyansian Economics". Grass Huts for everyone! That is two-and-a-half years of benefits, almost five times longer than the previous extension. But looking at things the unemployment rate is unprecedented. This is the first time since the 1950's that the government hasn't extended benefits in tough economic times. Also We haven;t seen times like these since before the 50's. And it isn't extending the time the unemployed receive benefits. It was already at 99 weeks. So this is just continuing already approved benefits. Unless they added something overnight. Which I highly doubt. Research is your friend. |
