I remember Billy Graham dying in '94 right after my grandma died. My grandma was a big fan and I was thinking, "wow, when they end up in heaven, maybe she'll get to meet him." I was only 10 at the time, but this I remember quite clearly. We even had the Billy Graham obituary blurb in the paper cut out and with hers. I really need to find where those ended up. It wasn't until a few years ago that I had heard he was alive. That means for over 10 years I though he was dead.

I find all this disturbing. I can think of events as well that happened differently, but the proof doesn't exist anymore, because it's never been here.

If I remember Stan Lee dying (Point A), I'm not going to find proof that he died here (Point B), since he died in a parallel time line that I originated from (Point A).

I could have sworn he died a few years ago, and they had a lot of clips of his TV show "Sing along with Mitch". I know I talked about it with my husband, because his brother was a huge, huge fan, we talked about how we remembered that show growing up. Its a creepy feeling when this happens.

Yes, likewise. I read the thread, and some people are saying that he was ill awaiting treatment, so I suppose it is possible that I remember incorrectly.

However, the memory seems so vivid about Jim Nabors actually passing, it leaves me confused.

A Thank You to #1030698 at least one other person is aware and awake. He or She already gave you the reason they are alive AGAIN they have been cloned. Cloning has been done since something like the 40's or 50's. Technology is thousands of years advanced from what the people are being told. In electronic class back in 1988 we were told they were advancing 10 years for every year we lived. We were told of some of the things and told some we could see in person if interested.

When I've read these threads before people explained it that everyone shifts...the whole timeline shifts and only some people remember the old one.

Now someone is saying on here something about "You're from this timeline." So, what's that supposed to mean? There are duplicate timelines all running at the same time and some people switch to other ones?

Yes- these timeline threads are discussing the possibility that there are now multiple timelines. Each are running simultaneously, and that people jump from one timeline to another, either by accident or intentionally. Some timelines are almost identical, and some are dramatically different from one another.

The most common theory says some event in the last few decades caused a fracture to the original timeline. What caused the fracture has been speculated on at length- CERN type device, Montauk experiment, some other military weapon-or intervention from a future society. Why the fracture occurred, is unknown, or whether it was accidental or an intentional splintering, to avoid a catastrophic event.

SO, depending on which variant of the timeline you have been living, Walter Cronkite, for instance, may have died in the 90's. Or the mid 2000's. Or July 17th, 2009. For those people who, for whatever reason, remember when the timeline shifts to another variant, (most do not) -- all data from the former timeline disappears and is modified to mirror the new timeline. Consequently, when posting links with dates from let‘s say Wiki, to prove an event or death-- it only proves data in this timeline.

Some posters think those remembering these timeline anomalies and shifts are either crazy, lying, or just have bad memories. And maybe that is so, no one knows. But the sheer number of these threads, at so many sites over the internet, for almost 10 years-- it;s an interesting enough phenomenon for many of us to read on, and keep comparing notes.

I had to revive this thread briefly to add another one from my perspective. Remember the girl's father from the 50's in "Back to the Future"? The one who said, "You ever have a kid like that I'll disown you."? He just died this month.

His name was George Di Cenzo. I say "was" because I distinctly remember watching the DVDs five years ago, and the director and producer on the commentary track saying he was dead then. I'll have to listen again to confirm, but this is the first time I've had a way to verify it.

If they did say it, I suppose one could chalk it up to their own mistake, but it's still weird.

I would have sworn up and down that Billy Graham is dead. I remember when he died because my boss' father was crazy about him and I remembered thinking that he was going to be all sad about it...am I nuts or what?

Are you sure a lot of this isn't just down to poor journalism/fact checking?
As a former journalist, i remember when (Irish footballer) George Best was on his death bed. The newspaper i worked for had his obituary in wait for a few days. In fact, by the time he died, most of the stuff had been printed in one form or another because pages were being held back every night in case he died. I believe it is very possible things like this happen a lot and could easily result in mis-information slipping through.
We see it all the time in the media, especially when it comes to famous individuals, that things are specualated on and very quickly become 'fact'.
On a darkly funnier note, when British comedians Benny Hill and Frankie Howard died on the same day, Hill died alone and wasn't discovered for a time. When his publicist was asked for Benny's reaction to Howerd's death, it was quoted in many places that Hill was very upset about it, even though there's a good chance Hill died first.

I remember "captain kangaroo" dying. are ya'll saying he is still alive? and Billy Graham,I remember seeing his memorial on tv,was a real big deal... this is ,oh,I'd say the past five or ten years. do we have any control over what timeline we flip to? for instance what if my father is still alive on a timeline? why dont we have this happening with people close to us?? i wonder if the LHC thing has anything to do with this
