The main leader, John-Michael Framer is the one who recruited all of us and started the machine. It was built by a lot of people around Boulder over a decade. I was living in Boulder at the time, had been there for about 12 years when a special assembly was called and they asked for volunteers. We have all volunteered for so many duties over the years, this was just another thing to me.

Out of those who volunteered, we were each interviewed by a small committee in private. They narrowed it down to 24 and I was on that list. And that is how I ended up here in the year 2010.
